Swamy Naidu Appointed in Key Position @ Congress
All India Chiranjeevi Fans President, R Swamy Naidu, has taken charges as a AP Congress’ General Secretary recently. The AP PCC chief Raghuveera Reddy felicitated Swamy Naidu with a shawl and congratulated him.
Meanwhile, Megastar Chiranjeevi, is heard to be leading the AP Congress for 2019’s elections and Swamy Naidu’s appointment in a key post is said to be the part of it.
On the movies front, a formal announcement of Chiranjeevi’s 150th film will be made on the day of Sankranthi. This much anticipated movie will be directed by VV Vinayak. Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Lyca Productions will produce the movie.
Milky beauty Tamannah is gossiped to be the heroine of this commercial potboiler. The movie is going to be the remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Kaththi’.
Shankar’s Upper Hand in ‘2.0’!
Once upon a time Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth made most of his movies big hits with his one man show in those films. However, the superstar seems to have been depending more on his technicians and heroines for the past ten years for the success of his movies.
Top director Shankar and Rajinikanth teamed up, earlier, for the movies like ‘Shivaji’ and ‘Robo’. Rajini and Shankar got equal share in the success of the filmm ‘Shivaji’. However, Shankar did a trick with ‘Robo’ scoring a blockbuster making the movie as a sci-fi entertainer.
Visual effects have dominated throughout the movie rather the performances of lead actors. Besides, the movie had then All India beauty Aishwarya Rai in female lead role. And now, Rajini and Shankar team up again for the sequel of ‘Robo’ which has been titled as ‘2.0’.
Rajini was seen in dual roles in ‘Robo’ both as a hero and as a villain. However, Akshay Kumar replaces Rajini in antagonist role in ‘2.0’. Does it mean Rajini’s importance in the movie chopped off? Whatsoever, Shankar seems to be dominating more with his ‘2.0’ comparing with his previous movies.
Mahesh’s Mumbai Connection
Prince Mahesh’s ‘Businessman’s story was about to fight against underground mafia and to emerge as a don to make organized crimes. He also utters the most powerful dialogue ‘Ye Mumbai ko peshab karne ko aaya huin mein’.
Once again Mahesh is all set to fight against a system in Mumbai. This time he will be questioning the anomalies in judiciary system of India. As we reported earlier, this movie will also be made with Mumbai backdrop. Mahesh’s ‘Busiessman’ stood as a decent hit with Rs.38 crores share collections. It remains to be seen how well would Mahesh’s new film run at the box office.
Tentatively titled as ‘Chattamtho Poratam’, the movie will be directed by Murugadoss. Parineeti Chopra is expected to be the lead actress of this movie. In the meanwhile, Mahesh is busy shooting for his going film ‘Brahmotsavam’.
Touted to be a family entertainer Srikanth Addala is directing this movie on PVP Cinema. Kajal, Samantha and Pranitha are the heroines of this film.
Tension Relieved for NTR’s Fans
Hereafter, no beating around the bush. A couple of minutes ago, the production team of ‘Naannaku Prematho’ broke out the much awaited news that the audio launch of the movie will be held on December 27 and the movie is set for a grand release on January 13. With this revelation, the euphoria on the release of the movie gets intensified among the fans.
The movie has been made with the quintessential touch of Sukumar. The movie seems to have been made a mellowed yet power packed entertainer. Devi Sri Prasad’s songs and BGM are, as usually, expected to be rocking the chartbusters.
Rakul Preet Singh has played romantic interest of NTR in the film. Stellar performances of ensemble star cast are also highly anticipated. BVSN Prasad has bankrolled the project. Well, the details of the chief guests and other guests of audio launch are yet to be awaited.
Hang me along with my son – Hero’s Mother
Looks like the controversy surrounding the infamous Beep Song is only gaining steam with each passing day. Already, the Coimbatore Race Course police have been hunting down the young Tamil stars Simbu and Anirudh, the masterminds behind the controversial song.
After the recent emotional outburst by Simbu’s father T Rajender, it is now the turn of the star hero’s mother, Usha Rajender. The distraught mother released a video in which she vented out her angst against the ill forces that are witch hunting her son over the past couple of weeks.
Stating that Beep Song was an impromptu and a friendly experiment by Simbu, Usha said that those forces who have ganged up against her son to sabotage his career, have discarded the woes of millions of flood affected people in Tamil Nadu but are targeting her son with ulterior motives.
The star hero’s mother further said that instead of this continuous torture people should kill Simbu at one and pleaded them to also hang her along with her son. “What kind of a state is this where we can’t live in peace in even in our own house? We we quit Tamil Nadu and live in peace in Kerala or Karnataka, of this witch hunt continues,” lamented Simbu’s mother.
TDP’s Prestige in ‘Dictators’s Hands?
It was a never seen flattery of numerous MLAs and politicians resorted in praising the movie ‘Dictator’ and its hero Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna during the audio launch of the movie held recently in Amaravati. An unprecedented turnout of the politicians was witnessed at the venue.
Although political analysts lambasted entire event was the replica of misuse of political powers of the ruling party with some ‘group’ factors involved in it, Nandamuri fans sincerely believe that the stars and politicians studded event was an insignia of Balakrishna’s craze and charisma among the people and celebrities.
Incidentally, every politician of the TDP heartfully wished the movie would be a blockbuster. Since the event was held amidst huge number of TDP’s activists and the politicians, movie goers now feel that TDP’s prestige depends upon the result of ‘Dictator’. ” If at all the movie scores a blockbuster as per every one’s wish, TDP’s prestige might incease and TDP’s workers and Nandamuri fans will go jubilant.

Modi’s Surprise Visit To Pakistan
Following his flash visit to Russia and Afghanistan, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi surprised everyone by making an unplanned visit to the country’s arch rival, Pakistan, as he landed in Lahore from Kabul just a while ago.
The Indian PM has been received by the Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his wife at the airport. He was then taken to Sharif’s residence in a Pakistani helicopter. Modi will extend his greetings to PM Sharif’s granddaughter, who is getting married tomorrow.
Modi, who earlier wished Nawaz Sharif on his 65th birthday, tweeted “Looking forward to meeting PM Nawaz Sharif in Lahore today afternoon, where I will drop by on my way back to Delhi.” Modi will spend two hours in Lahore before he flies back to New Delhi.
Modi is the first Indian PM to step in Lahore ever since his guru and former Indian PM AB Vajpayee took a bus there in 1999, and also the first PM to visit Pakistan since 2004. Both the Prime Ministers had last met at the Paris Climate Summit COP21 in early December.
Nannaku Prematho For DSP’s Father
Rocking composer Devi Sri Prasad’s father and veteran writer Satya Murthy passed away recently. The makers of Nannaku Prematho give fitting tribute to the veteran. The film’s audio album is dedicated for Satya Murthy. In the audio release album teaser, they have included Satya Murthy gaaru’s photo, with a message of dedicating the album to the once successful writer.
Nannaku Prematho director Sukumar shares good rapport with music composer Devi Sri Prasad. In fact, DSP is the sole composer for all the films of Sukku. Likewise, he has rendered Nannaku Prematho tracks too.
Like DSP and Sukku combo previous albums, the new movie will also have some rocking and foot tapping tunes. So, the director decided to tribute his friend’s dad by dedicating the album to him. The song ‘I wanna follow follow you, we heard in teaser, got stunning response from music enthusiasts.
Showing his dedication towards work and also not to cause delay in film release, DSP came back to work on Nannaku Prematho background score. The film’s audio will be released on December 27th in a grand manner in Hyderabad, while the production unit is working hard to release the movie for Sankranthi.
