The Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s waging a political vendetta against the AICC President Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi after assuming the responsibilities in office,took an ugly turn when Subramanian Swamy’s allegations on the mother-son duo having misappropriating assets in ‘National Herald’.
However, it was a slapping judgement by the Delhi High Court, denying all the allegations made by Subramanian Swamy and granting the bails to Sonia and Rahul. What comes as a shocker to the ruling party was that the lawyers who were present in the court raised slogans in support of the Gandhis.
Apart from facing humiliating defeat in Bihar polls, the Bjp lost a couple of seats in local, MP and MLA polls across the country in recent times. In this scenario, the bail issued by Delhi High Court to the Gandhis is definitely a major setback to the ruling party. This is the high time the government should implement people friendly welfare programs so as to gain the lost faith among the people.
Senior Artist Ranganath No More
Senior artist and a versatile veteran cinema personality Ranganath is no more. Aged 66 years, he is reported dead few minutes ago. While exact reasons behind his death are still unknown but reports say, he committed suicide hanging at home in Kavadiguda near Gandhi Nagar in Hyderabad. He is also said to be wearing Ayyappa Mala.
Ranganath has two daughters and a son. Acted in more than 300 films, Ranganath worked as a villain, character artist, hero and also a director. He even forayed into small screen circuit. After entering into films in 1969 with ‘Buddhimanthudu,’ he evolved as a hero in 1974 with the film named ‘Chandana.’
He directed a Telugu film ‘Moguds Pellams’ starring Sivaji Raja as hero. As of now, Gandhinagar Police are probing the reasons behind this suspicious suicide. Apparently, financial reasons are said be one of the reasons by few media sources. Yet one more irrecoverable loss for Telugu cinema. Cinejosh team prays for his soul to rest in peace.
Father Seema, Mother Andhra And Me True Hyderabadi!
AP Chief Minister’s son and TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh has come out with a new slogan in the run up to the GHMC elections to state that his family belongs to all regions of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. At the meeting with city TDP leaders he remarked, “My father is from Rayalaseema, my mother is from Andhra and I am from Telangana and a true Hyderabadi being born and brought up in Hyderabad.”
He asked TDP leaders to highlight this prominently in GHMC poll campaign to attract voters of all the regions in the city. Lokesh also asked TDP leaders to take up GHMC poll campaign on the main slogan of “Hamara Shahar-Hamara Hyderabad” (Our City-Our Hyderabad) stating that Hyderabad is a cosmopolitan city where everyone from across the country and globe live and not just confined to Telangana.
Lokesh lashed out at TRS government for spoiling the ‘brand image’ of Hyderabad, which his father had built by working hard for nine years as CM between 1995 and 2004 and made it a global city. “If today, Hyderabad is in this position, it is because of Chandrababu Naidu. All global IT companies, corporates came to Hyderabad during his term. All flyovers in city were built by him.
The TRS government could not built even a single flyover during the last 18 months but boasts of making Hyderabad a global city and building skyscrapers around Hussainsagar aind in the city,” Lokesh said. He said only TDP has the capacity and ability to develop Hyderabad on par with major global cities in the world.
Jagan uses ‘Eenadu’ as weapon to corner Naidu in Assembly!
AP Opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy used ‘Eenadu’ newspaper in AP Legislative Assembly during the discussion on Call Money scam to attack and embarrass AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and TDP government. There is a general impression among all that Eenadu owned by Ramoji Rao is the official gazette of TDP since decades right from N T Rama Rao regime to Chandrababu regime.
Late YSR waged a battle against Eenadu during his stint as Opposition leader and CM in Undivided AP for its biased reporting on Congress party and government. However, his son Jagan used the same Eenadu to corner Chandrababu and TDP in the Assembly.
He brought the news clippings published in Eenadu against Call Money Sex scam and quoted them repeatedly in his speech. When Jagan read out news headlines of Eenadu with month and date, the ruling TDP members remained mute spectators as they had no clue on how to respond on Eenadu which has been protecting the interests of TDP since long.
Trade Talk: Bengal Tiger In Safe Zone
Bengal Tiger roared like a thunder and got great openings. The collections were great in the first four days and began dropping from Monday. But the buyers are not unduly tensed up because of the fall. Since the film was sold just for Rs 22 crore, everyone would be in safe zone. What more, the film still has lot of theatres this week too and this will put the buyers in the safe zone.
Puri’s ‘Loafer’ has received mixed response from the audience. One expects the film will have good collections in B and C Centres as this is an out and out commercial fare. Both Sankarabharanam and Size Zero ended up as failure.
Four films are getting released next week. So, the Telugu box office would be busy till Sankranthi. Trade circles feel only films that have good content to offer will escape the axe and even average films are going to go down.
Top Director Gets Ultimatum From Wife
A leading Tollywood director who is known to be promiscuous has been given ultimatum to mend his ways. The ultimatum came from his wife as she is fed up with his attitude (who is also known to be easily irascible). She already left him for few days and lived with her parents but the director later patched up with her.
Even after parents and well-wishers counseled them to live together putting behind the past issues, the director reportedly started showing similar attitude. So finally she told him that this is last warning from her or he would be facing big trouble as she would not hesitating to report to the media and police.
Hence the director who is going through rough phase is silently working at his office room on penning the script. Right now all is well between the couple and the team of the director is happy that he is actually writing a script so peacefully without getting irritated or shouting at them. Seems her ultimatum has scared him, say his team members happily.

Aamir Khan keen to meet a fan with Progeria
Mumbai: Aamir Khan, who is currently shooting for his next film ‘Dangal’, is keen to meet a fan that is suffering from the genetic disease progeria.
The nameless fan, who is suffering from progeria, has shared a post on Facebook where he mentioned that he wishes to meet the ‘PK’ star. He also thank him for the movie ‘Taare Zameen Par’, which gave him courage. In his post, he wrote, “I want to meet Aamir Khan and thank him for the movie ‘Taare Zameen Par’ which gave me courage, but there’s not much progress on that one yet! To be honest, I don’t know much about the illness I have, except that I have the rare power of being young and old at the same time.”
Aamir read the post and replied that he would love to meet him. In his reply, he said, “Hi my friend, you haven’t given your name… I would love to meet you. Please let me know when and where, and I will be there. Love. a. P.S. I am so glad that you liked ‘Taare Zameen Par’.”
Killing Veerappan Release on New Year
After a row of controversies and a series of release postponements, Ram Gopal Varma is planning to release his new movie ‘Killing Veerappan’ on the eve of New Year that is January 1, 2016. Starting the New Year on happy note would be in everyone’s thoughts but how come audience would like to watch ‘Killing Veerappan?’ On the same day, there are ‘Nenu… Shailaja’ and ‘Vennello Haay Haay’ ready to grace the theaters.
Starring Shiva Raj Kumar and Sandeep Bharadwaj in main leads, the movie is a documentary drama thriller made based on real life happenings around Operation Cocoon, which was initiated to kill or catch Sandalwood smuggler Veerappan. Sources say, RGV made a research on lifestyle of Veerappan and how became the King of Jungle before beginning the shoot.
As RGV is superb in filing the crime stories, hopefully the hype for ‘Killing Veerappan’ is justified. However, it is still to be wait and seen… whether Veerappan can make it into theaters on Jan 1st or not?
