Superstar Rajinikanth and Sensational director Shankar’s next project, 2.0, the sequel to their successful film, Robot began its regular shoot earlier this week. The movie is the first 3D venture for Shankar.

The producers of the much awaited film in an interview revealed that the movie will be making a whopping 350 Crore and it will be the biggest budget ever made in history of Indian Cinema.

They also refused to reveal anything about the release plan of the film which has several big names associated with it. But said the movie is expected to release some time in 2017. More details of this project are awaited.

King Nagarjuna’s latest offering, Soggade Chinni Nayana will have its audio release on 25th of the month as Christmas Special. The event will happen in Shilpa Kala Vedhika and Gemini TV will be telecasting the event live.

The movie has completed its shooting a long ago and is currently busy wrapping up its post production works. Nagarjuna for the first time in his career is playing a dual role as father and son.

Ramya Krishnan is romancing the senior while Lavanya Tripati is seen alongside the Junior. A new comer Kalyan Krishna is wielding megaphone for this venture. Nagarjuna had pinned high hopes on this film as he wants to keep up the hard earned success with Manam.

Naga Shaurya’s Abbayitho Ammayi dropped itself for Christmas race as the holiday weekend is crowdy with too many releases. The movie will now release on January 1st as New Year eve Special.

Even this new date will also have a clash for the movie with Ram’s Nenu Sailaja. The movie was censored the other day and it received U/A certificate with no cuts. A new girl, Palak Lalwani is making her debut with this film.

Raviteja’s Veera fame Ramesh Varma is the film’s director and Vandana, Kireeti and Srinivas produced this film together. Meastro Ilaiyaraja is composing music for this film and it is the 999th film of his illustrious career.

Nandamuri Balakrishna is giving the ongoing Winter session of Andhra Pradesh Assembly a miss, as he is busy wrapping up the shooting of his next, Dictator. The actor is adamant to release the film for Sankranthi at any cost and so is seriously working for the film.

The entire shooting is completed except for two songs. The audio launch event of the movie will take place on 20th December in Amaravati, the upcoming state capital of Andhra Pradesh.

This is the first film event there after the capital announcement. Thaman is the music composer for this film and this is his first film with Nandamuri Balakrishna. Loukyam fame Srivas is wielding megaphone for this film.

Young Tiger NTR’s Nannaku Prematho team will begin shooting for the last song in the film from 21st of this month. A special set is being erected in Annapurna Studios for this purpose. The entire shooting is complete except for this song and some patch work.

The audio release event of the film will take place in the last week of this month. January 13th is the release date as Sankranthi Special. Creative director Sukumar is wielding megaphone for this movie.

Rakul Preet Singh is playing the female lead beside NTR. Rajendra Prasad and Jagapathi Babu are playing important roles. Senior Producer BVSN Prasad is producing the film under his Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner.

Young Actor Nithin is known to be very good at spotting young talent. In fact, most of the successes in his second innings came with new and young directors. The actor is now going to work with Kumari 21F fame Surya Pratap.

Kumari 21F is one of the biggest hits in small movies released this year. The movie’s youthful content connected instantly to this generation audience and the director is getting good offers now.

Surya Pratap is currently working on a script for Nithin. On the other side, the young actor is currently shooting for his next, A..Aa, which is being directed by Trivikram Srinivas.
