‘Jabardasth’ Comedy show was first telecasted on 7 February, 2013 in ETV. From then on, the program has been weaving a magic and has become the number one among all the programs on Television. The comedy show successfully completed 150 episodes yesterday..

As we know, anchor Anasuya, who sizzled in ‘Jabardasth’ with her mesmerizing anchoring in short dresses, has bagged more opportunities in other channels and in Tollywood as well. She was replaced by Reshmi long back and the latter also in a signing spree for some crazy projects in Tollywood.

It was a historic moment when both the anchors Anasuya and Reshmi sizzled in a show and it was the historic 150th episode of ‘Jabardasth’. Sunil was invited the special guest of the show. Good news is that Reshmi will be replaced with Anausya for ‘Jabardasth’ hereafter and the former renders her services as an anchor to ‘Extra Jabardasth’. Mega brother Nagababu has done his job quite decently as a judge in all the episodes of ‘Jabardasth’ while Roja has done her part quite well as another judge of the comedy show.

Director Ram Gopal Varma, once again, indulged in posting controversial tweets which are purely meant to create the brawls among mega fans. Earlier this morning Rgv heaped praises on Mega Prince Varun Tej for his performance in ‘Loafer’. He also felt Varun Tej as next Megastar. Those, who read the tweets, welcomed the director’s praises on Varun Tej.

However, Rgv posted a few more tweets this evening triggering a high controversy. His intention was merely to get fans indulged in brawls. However, most of the fans, who can make out the attitude of Rgv, have taken his tweets light while some more fans have come down heavily on Rgv in social media. All in all, most of the mega fans have reportedly decided to take the tweets of Rgv light.

Meanwhile, Varun Tej’s ‘Loafer’ recorded superb openings on the day one of its release. The movie was helmed by Puri Jagannadh while it was produced by C Kalyan on CK Entertainment.

If buizz from inside sources is to be believed another production house, ‘Lyca Productions’ will co-produce the movie along with Ram Charan’s home banner. Incidentally, Lyca Productions has been in headlines producing India’s highly costliest movie ‘Robot 2.0’ directed by Shankar and starred by Rajinikanth. Lyca Productions has also produced the original version of ‘Kaththi’, which is going to be remade for Chiranjeevi.

On the other hand, Milky Beauty Tamannah is being contemplated as the lady lead of this movie. Ace director VV Vinayak will be directing the movie. More details of the cast and crew of the movie will be known soon.

New Delhi: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has ruled out the possibility of reuniting with Salman Khan on the silver screen again as he feels the both of them have a busy work schedules. Shah Rukh, who will be making his debut appearance on the Salman-hosted ‘Bigg Boss’ this weekend to promote ‘Dilwale’, said they have no plans of working together in near future. “There is no such plan of working in a film together. If you just look at our calendars, our spaces are full. Personally, my calendar is full. I am sure Salman is also busy. He is shooting for ‘Sultan’ right now and he told me about his other film,” Shah Rukh told PTI.

The actors, who are back to being friends, first worked together in the Rakesh Roshan-directed revenge drama ‘Karan Arjun’ followed by the hit romantic film ‘Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam’. Salman also made a cameo appearance in SRK’s ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. When asked whether it would be too expensive to cast them together in a film considering that they are the highest paid actors in Bollywood, Shah Rukh quipped, “I am cheap and sweet. I don’t know about Salman’s salary.” The actor, 50, is looking forward to the release of ‘Dilwale’, which will see him reuniting with his good friend Kajol after a gap of five years. Kajol had recently said that Shah Rukh and her husband Ajay Devgn are not friends despite she being the common link between the two, but Shah Rukh disagreed with her.

“We don’t sit down and chat. Ajay is a quiet guy and so am I in real life. I may come out as more talkative in public. We are friends. If I have any issue, I can pick up the phone at 3am and call Ajay and tell him ‘Listen, I need Kajol to come and do this for me’ and he will drive her. “We are such kind of friends. It happens because we have space. We are married and have kids and somewhere we have parallel lives.” Shah Rukh said despite what people perceive about him and Ajay, the two actors are always there for each other in the time of crisis. “When Kajol lost her dad, I was driving down to airport and Ajay called me and said ‘Listen, you are the first guy I am calling because you are a friend. Come here and be with Kajol. Bring Karan (Johar) along’. It was not because we were the only ones he could take support from… It is because we all are friends. We are very different people.” Shah Rukh feels he and Kajol, who have been friends for the longest time and who are one of the most successful onscreen pairs in Bollywood, click together because they have immense respect for each other’s work.

“The first bond which gets created when you start working with co-stars is through respect. The second part is dignity for each other’s work and lifestyle. And third part is not being nosy. You have to give space and it is most important,” he said. Talking a little about the film and its title, Shah said, “The film’s title was Rohit’s idea. It was always planned to be that because the whole film is about how you have to have a larger heart to forgive and move on in life. It comes very subtly and it’s a commercial film. He had the Dilwale title always in mind.” Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film also stars Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Boman Irani, Johnny Lever among others in prominent roles. The film releases tomorrow. Shah Rukh was offered this film when he was shooting for a Yash Raj project and was bowled over by the film’s title.

If sources are to be believed, director Imtiaz Ali and Shah Rukh Khan will come together for a film. It was apparently after the release of Rockstar that SRK showed his keenness to work with Imtiaz and vice versa. But the two haven’t been able to take the talk any further, thanks to their commitment to Dilwale and Tamasha respectively.

A source from the industry, however, revealed that SRK and Imtiaz have been meeting and discussing collaborating on a project. We hear that the two will get down to more concrete work after the release of Dilwale. A source said, “Imtiaz and Shah Rukh Khan catch up once in a while and they often talk about doing a film together.

They met 2-3 months ago as well, but nothing certain came out of that meeting. There are whispers that the film will go on the floors in March or April and that things won’t pick up until early February. This is because SRK has to first finish Raees before taking on any new work.”

At last, Ram Charan cut down the suspense over the much discussed Chiru’s 151st film the other day as he revealed that VV Vinayak will be directing the film, which is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Kaththi. Already, it is well known that Ram Charan will himself produce the film under his newly formed Konidela Productions.

And here’s the biggest twist. Giving this prestigious project an all-time high, Lyca Productions, the producers of Shankar-Rajini’s just launched Robo 2.0, will be joining hands with Ram Charan to co-produce the film. Lyca Productions was the banner behind the Tamil Kaththi and it finally managed its way to the Telugu remake out of nowhere.

The film is expected to be launched formally on Sankranthi. Meanwhile, the script work is going on at a jet speed and VV Vinayak is making sure the film has authentic Telugu nativity. Rumors are rife that Tamannaah, whose dancing Chiru praised to the hilt in the past, will be romancing Chiru in the film.

Mumbai: S.S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali 2’, the second part of the franchise, finally went on floors today. After nearly four months of pre-production work including set design and concept art, the director began shooting for the film.

The film slated to hit the screens toward the end of 2016, will reveal why Kattappa killed Baahubali. It stars Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia. The first part of the franchise which released earlier this year in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam, raked in over Rs. 600 crore at the box office worldwide.

The makers promise to make the sequel with more grandeur and it will be interesting to see how the film fares at the Box Office.

Mumbai: While giving Bollywood actor Salman Khan benefit of doubt in the 2002 hit-and-run case, the Bombay High Court has observed that the prosecution’s case was weak and appreciation of evidence by the trial court was not legal and proper. “….in the considered view of this court, the appreciation of the evidence as is done by the trial court in the present matter is not proper and legal as per the settled principles of criminal jurisprudence,” Justice A R Joshi said in the 350-page judgement which was uploaded on the High Court website last night. The judgement was orally pronounced in the court on December 10. The actor was present in the court when the operative part of the verdict was read out. “In this case, considering the various weaknesses in the case of the prosecution, various shortcomings such as non-examination of necessary and appropriate witnesses, the omissions and contradictions in the evidence of the injured witnesses which go to the root of the matter, definitely a doubt has arisen as to the involvement of the appellant for the offences with which he was charged,” the judge said.

On the basis of this type of evidence, the appellant cannot be convicted though the apparent perception might be different as appearing in the mind of a common man, Justice Joshi, who retires on December 21, remarked. “…this is not a case in which prosecution has successfully established its case for all the charges,” says the judgement. On May 6 this year, Additional Sessions judge D W Deshpande had held Khan guilty on all counts including culpable homicide not amounting to murder and sentenced him to five years’ rigorous imprisonment. The High Court overturned the lower court judgement completely by acquitting Salman of all the charges. Though the investigation might be impartial, it was conducted in a careless and faulty manner with scant regard to the established procedure laid down in law, particularly the procedure required for establishing a chain of evidence when the case is based on biological evidence, the court said.

The investigation was so conducted as to loosen the prosecution case, the judge said. “It can be said without giving all the details that the trial court had erred in accepting the bills (of the hotel visited by Salman before the mishap) which were recovered without there being any panchnama and the bills altogether saddled with fabrication,” said the judge. “Secondly, evidence of Ravindra Patil (eye-witness and police bodyguard of Salman at the relevant time) was not marshaled properly and thirdly evidence to establish biological chain regarding alcohol consumption is not appreciated as per the mandate of law,” the judge said. “As such, consequently, it must be said that this is not a case in which the prosecution has successfully established its case for all the charges,” Justice Joshi said. The HC also held that Patil’s statement, recorded by a magistrate earlier, was inadmissible as evidence before the sessions court.

“Various improvements were brought on record (by Ravindra Patil) and these were on the vital aspects firstly as to the drunkenness, secondly as to the witness cautioning the accused (Salman) to lower the speed and initially (Patil) asking the accused whether he will drive the car,” the judge noted. These improvements, brought on record during the cross-examination, had a bearing on the prosecution’s case that Salman was drunk at the time, the High Court said. “Even in the first information report (lodged by Patil) there is no whisper as to the appellant/accused of being drunk during the incident. The entire FIR is regarding driving by the appellant and the speed of the car (being) 90?100 kms per hour,” said the judge. The HC noted that Patil had named Salman’s driver Ashok Singh in his evidence. Also, the investigating officer had admitted that Singh had come to police station after the mishap but his (Singh’s) statement was not recorded. Singh had appeared as the defence witness in the trial court and said he was driving the car and not Salman. However, the trial court did not accept his version saying he had come to the court 13 years after the mishap. The HC, however, held that Singh had come before the court at an appropriate stage of the trial.
