‘My Chemistry With Yami Gautam Is Organic..’

Mumbai: Singer-actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who has worked with Yami Gautam twice, says he shares an organic chemistry with the actress. After making their successful Bollywood acting debut in 2012 with Shoojit Sirkar’s “Vicky Donor”, the two teamed up again for a romantic music video titled “Yahin hoon Main” this month.

Talking about their chemistry, the actor said: “Yami and I share an organic chemistry. While working on the video, I felt the same kind of vibe between us. The only thing is, I didn’t have abs at that time.” “I did my first internship with her dad Mukesh Gautam. We are family friends so, the equation is always natural,” he added. The music of the song, sung by Ayushmann, is by Rochak Kohli and the actor himself.

Would it get better response than his previous hit number “Pani da rang”? “‘Pani da rang’ had that weight of the film. Because it went with the story, people accepted it easily. It is far more challenging for a single music video to cut through that,” he said.

Controversies Don’t Affect Film!

New Delhi: First, it was his comment on “religious tolerance” in the country, and now Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has demanded a boycott of his film “Dilwale”. Controversies rarely leave Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, but he says they have no effect on his name or fame. “People need a chance to express themselves and then they use public figures… People stand on the shoulders of public figures to say what they want to. It’s a small thing, but then we have to sit and justify and explain that we are patriotic and nationalist,” Shah Rukh said here.

The 50-year-old spoke when he was asked to comment on the controversies surrounding him, at a press meet on a sunny afternoon here on Wednesday. Earlier last month, the actor faced a backlash for his comment on rising intolerance, which, he said, “would take India to the Dark Ages.” BJP MP Yogi Adityanath compared SRK’s “language” to that of militant leader Hafiz Saeed, whereas VHP leader Sadhvi Prachi called him an “agent” of Pakistan.

He shared that several years ago he was told by a well-wisher that the day he earns fame, he will be at a greater risk of landing in controversies. “I have a name since a lot of years now, Mashallah, and now it (controversy) happens every week or month… It’s strange that mostly it happens around the release of a film. There are opportunist people,” he said.

Nevertheless, his over 25 years of experience as an actor has taught him one lesson. “I get so much love from people…. I understand that these things don’t have any effect… Neither on us, our film, name or work.” SRK was here with Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon to promote “Dilwale”, which is releasing on Friday.

I wanted to be an astronaut: Sonakshi

Mumbai: Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who started her career as a costume designer, says she wanted to be an astronaut and that it was fate which crafted her switch from fashion to cinema. The daughter of Bollywood actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha forayed into the Hindi film industry with Salman Khan-starrer “Dabangg” in 2010. Bollywood’s “Shotgun Junior” shared her sentiments in an interview on Colors Infinity’s show “Born Stylish” with host and designer Pria Kataaria Puri.

She said: “To be honest, I wanted to be an astronaut, my math was so bad though that no institute would have given me admission. I love sports, I like to swim and play tennis so I also thought of becoming a swimmer once. “Being in fashion designing, I used to sketch well, I thought of becoming an artist also but eventually, I landed up being an actress. There were a lot of people from different walks of life who inspired me while making a career choice. I was always a courageous girl!”

A simple dialogue like “Thappad se darr nahi lagta saab ji. pyar se lagta hai” from “Dabangg” is still a rage among cinema buffs. The actress, who is busy shooting for her upcoming films “Akira” and “Force 2”, says she “never thought a heroine can get famous for her dialogue”.

She said: “For me, the switch from fashion to cinema was all destiny. Arbaaz (Khan) spotted me at one of the fashion shows and approached me for the movie ‘Dabangg’, though I never wanted to be there, it was an offer I could not say no to. I had never thought a heroine can get famous for her dialogue; my father’s expertise has clearly rubbed-off on me”.

Where Is The Hope For The People Of AP?

Land-grabbing to the tune of lakhs of acres in the name of a new capital merely to benefit one particular section of society, turning a blind eye when MLA’s rough up government employees, false promises of loan waiver, corruption in the name of unnecessary irrigation projects, land grabbing again for airports in rural areas and now, the inhuman ‘call-money racket’.

It is by now clear that the Andhras are caught in the vice of an absolutely corrupt and immoral regime that will ultimately result in their doom.

The only weapon they have in their hands is their vote which they will be using in 2019. If they can manage to survive until then, then they can hope for a fair and better administration, one that will make them hold their heads high.

Who will be that leader? And what is to prevent a large section of youth and populace who are infuriated at the current scenario from taking the law into their own hands? Where is the hope for the people of AP?

I’ve A Doubt If Loafer Works Or Not!!

puri

“I’m confident that Loafer is going to be a superb treat for fans, but still there is doubt lingering in my mind if the film works or not. The whole story is balanced on a small thread, and success depends on how audiences take that link”, said Puri Jagan today, emoting that tension any director will flaunt hours before the release of their film.

“Loafer” features Varun Tej, Disha Patni, Revathi and Posani in the leads. Though Varun’s character is full of mass shades and energetic elements, Puri carved out an emotional sentimental story of a mother and son for this film.

As audiences expect masala films from Puri, our director worries, “If I mismatch the expectations, fans will get disappointed. There are fights, dances, romance and dialogues for them, but still this sentiment lock is bigger than them. Fingers crossed”. In few more hours, Loafer will be hitting screens and that will clarity Puri Jagan’s doubts.

Secret Behind 2 Film Deal With Kalyan

vaitla

After the back-to-back disasters of Aagadu and Bruce Lee, Tollywood’s hotshot director Sreenu Vaitla stooped to an all-time low in his career. Even though no top stars or producers come forward to back him, Sreenu Vaitla miraculously pulled off a two film deal with senior producer C Kalyan.

While everyone in the industry is surprised with the producer’s blind trust on Sreenu Vaitla, here is the mystery behind C Kalyan roping in a star director like Sreenu Vaitla for two films. In his latest interview to a news channel, C Kalyan revealed that since his early days as a producer, he only signed top stars who enjoyed stardom once but were in a bad phase with continuous flops.

C Kalyan revealed that he roped in the then top stars like Rajendra Prasad and Rajasekhar when they were in flops because they come within his budget and the film’s production will be under his complete control. Similarly, C Kalyan also gave a 2 film deal to Puri Jagannadh who didn’t taste much success of late and made Jyothi Lakshmi and Loafer with him. Likewise, the producer has now signed on Sreenu Vaitla who is in a down phase.

As of now, inside buzz is that the Sreenu Vaitla-C Kalyan combo will make their films with Ram and Varun Tej.

Pump up for better insulation

Share

hym09tech-nudown01_2649236g

Nearly six years ago in 2009, a Utah-based company called Klymit came up with a different idea for cold-weather clothing — replace traditional insulation with gas. This idea gave birth to NobleTek inflatable clothing that earned plenty of attention from the outdoor and technology industries. However, it never seemed to catch on. Under the guidance of start-up NuDown, the inflatable insulation has been packed again into a simpler form. Instead of the compulsory argon gas inflator, it uses a simple hand pump to adjust to your core warmth.

Klymit’s NobleTek was an interesting idea that was poorly executed. In 2013, it sold the apparel side of its business to Jeff Picket, an entrepreneur, who went ahead and founded NuDown. The new company has been selling Klymit’s argon-based inflation jacket and vest designs, but it was preparing to launch a new line of inflatable clothes that can be user-friendly. Nudown is christening it as NuTech and it drops the annoying argon canisters for regular air. Each jacket and vest has a pocket-sized hand pump that lets you pump these up for a higher insulation and more warmth. They also have a release valve that lets you release the air for cooling down.

The makers claim that every pump increases the warmth by about one degree Fahrenheit. They say that around 5 pumps will provide warmth on slightly chilly days, and 15 to 20 pumps will make things warmer for colder days. These jackets have the same versatility and pack ability that argon-based designs enjoy without the need of replacing the canisters. Although there still might be some extra pumping and tweaking, the new design seems to have taken care of NobleTek’s biggest drawback.

You simply squeeze a convenient, in-pocket pump, forcing air into the chambers surrounding your torso. The more air you pump in, the more air you trap between yourself and the garment. This “inner” air is warmed by your body and held tight to produce your ideal warmth. As conditions change, you can release air to cool down or add more air for even greater insulation. They use heat retaining substances and technology using which you can fully adjust the warmth you want.

Five pumps give you an initial blast of insulation that will suffice for normal activity on slightly chilly days. Ten pumps will get you started in harsher conditions. Fifteen to 20 pumps will protect you in the cruellest of colds. The creators have three men’s and three women’s styles with the prices ranging between $450 and $800. The prices are way too high, especially since the jackets will be using air to insulate, stuff that we breathe in and out every second for free.

Avunu Hero Dominated By Pakistani Girl

Upcoming Hindi film “Sanam Teri Kasam” is being widely discussed in Tollywood now. Because this film marks full length debut of Thakita Thakita and Avunu fame Harshavardan Rane as a hero in b-town. Those who have seen the trailer are in awe of this guy, but here is the surprising package.

Apparently this Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru directorial marks the debut of Pakistani girl Mawra Hocane’s on Indian silver screen. She happens to be a 23 year old VJ from Pakistan, who is popular for her cute talks and slender looks.

Ever since she supported Indian film “Phantom” calling that a terrorist is a terrorist and Pak should allow the release of it, she got highly praised here and blasted there, and she became a popular figure. Probably Harsha wouldn’t have expected that his heroine will hit headlines in a big way than him.

Meanwhile the movie is a friendship between two opposites who fall in love, with their extreme character traits not allowing them to travel smoothly. To talk more, Mawra’s titillating looks and Himesh Reshamiya’s music are top notch.

Aagadu now releases in Tamil Nadu

At a time producers of straight Tamil films postpone their releases due to the present disastrous rain situations in Tamil Nadu, the dubbed Tamil version of Mahesh Babu’s Tollywood hit Aagadu will be hitting the screens soon. The makers, Badrakali Films, who have already tasted success dubbing Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu as Selvandhan, claim that they are confident of its success of Aagadu’s Tamil version titled Idhu Dhanda Police.

They also say that Mahesh Babu has a sizeable fan following in TN. Besides, Telugu movies made at a grander budget offer plenty of action, colour and sizzling heroines, which helps make blockbusters out of the films.

While Tamannah is playing the female lead, Shruti Haasan grooving to a hot item number is said to be the highlight of the movie. Directed by Sreenu Vaitla, Idhu Dhanda Police also has Nasser and Sonu Sood in key characters.

Aadi looking forward to Malupu

After a long delay, actor Aadi Pinisetty will be seen in the film Malupu. “The delay in the film is because of its two versions. We are releasing it in Telugu and Tamil, so we have been shooting in two locations,” says Aadi. The actor will be playing a college student in the film. Interestingly, his father, popular director Raviraja Pinisetty, is producing the film.

“My brother Satya Prabhas is directing the film, it’s his debut. We didn’t want any restrictions on him as a director, so my father decided to produce it,” says Aadi, adding that even his father did not interfere in the direction. After debuting with Oka Vichitram, Aadi acted in Gundello Godari and Vaishali. He is now eagerly waiting for Malupu to release.

“The story is about a true incident that happened to my brother’s friend. The film is based on an incident that revolves around four students,” says the actor. “My father liked the story very much and decided to produce it,” he added. Senior Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty will be playing a powerful character in the film.

Talking about his other projects, Aadi says that he will also be playing the villain opposite Allu Arjun in Sarainodu. “I don’t play the typical villain. I play a negative character that has been shown in a neat manner. In the near future I am ready to play such negative roles if I like the subject,” says Aadi, adding that he has also signed two Tamil films.
