There were several rumors surrounding Bhale Bhale Magadivoy actress and the beautiful heroine clears all of them while interacting with the media. Lavanya stated it clearly that she wasn’t offered a role in Rajamouli’s mega movie Baahubali 2.

News was that she would be part of this sequel as Rana suggested her name to Rajamouli. Reports said that she was chosen for the role of wife of Rana’s Bhallaladeva character. “Hope it were true,” she replied when media asked about this.

“Fact is no one from the unit of Baahubali 2 approached me for any role leave alone Rajamouli calling me,” she clarified. Lavanya Tripathi debuted in Andala Rakshasi which was presented by Rajamouli and she is very close to the top director’s family.

Chennai: Tamil superstar Rajnikanth has thrown open his sprawling marriage hall here for accommodating sanitary workers from various districts engaged in the work to clean up the mess created by the recent torrential rains-sparked deluge in the city.

The ‘Kabali’ star had opened up his Raghavendra Mandapam in Kodambakkam locality for the workers from Namakkal, Karur, Salem, Dharmapuri and Tirupur, a press release from his office said.

The workers were being provided with basic necessities, it added. Last week, the actor had asked his fans to cancel his birthday celebrations on December 12 and instead focus their resources on flood relief and rehabilitation.

Faced with the huge task of clearing the garbage, the government had roped in the sanitary workers from across the state.

Mega Prince Varun Tej’s Loafer is all set to see light day after tomorrow. Varun Tej who had a flop (Mukundha) and a decent Hit (Kanche) with his first two films, pinned high hopes on this movie to make it big with the mass audience.

Chennai: “The Terminator” star Arnold Schwarzenegger, who was approached by the makers of superstar Rajinikanth-starrer “Robo 2” to play the antagonist in the film, may not get to play the role as the deal failed to work out, a source has said.

“The team has finally decided to rope in a Bollywood actor to play the baddie. The deal with Arnold Schwarzenegger didn’t work out for various reasons. Hence, the makers decided to move on as the project was getting delayed,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.

One of the reasons why the deal with Schwarzenegger fell through was because of the star’s high remuneration of Rs.120 crore, according to the source, A sequel to Tamil blockbuster “Enthiran”, the film also stars Amy Jackson, who will reportedly be playing a robot.

To be directed by Shankar and produced by Lyca Productions, the project is set to go on floors later this month or early next year. Oscar winning composer A.R. Rahman has been roped in to create music for the film.

The teaser of Sunny Leone-starrer next, ‘Mastizaade’ may not say much about the storyline, but it is anyone’s guess that it is packed to the gills with risqué content. And while shooting the sex comedy in Bangkok, the production team had a hard time controlling the crowd milling around the sets to catch a glimpse of Sunny.

A unit hand reveals that during the shoot of ‘Rom Rom Romantic’ track, which has the former adult actress in a steamy car wash sequence on a beach, people started gathering in large numbers.

This film caught the attention of the trade when the most happening producer Sai Korrapati bought the distribution rights of it. Sai Korrapati has a knack of investing in promising movies.

He was recently associated with Rajugari Gadhi that was a runaway blockbuster. His association with Jatha Kalise has increased the market value of the film. It is in fact Allu Aravind who has changed the fate of the film said sources from film industry. Allu Aravind saw a special screening of the movie and was bowled over by it.

He believed it has a lot of potential and asked the producer of Jatha Kalise to sell entire negative rights of the film to him. His idea is to do this movie again with his younger son Allu Sirish. When Sai Korrapati came to know about Allu Aravind’s reaction he immediately bought the distribution rights and releasing it on a grand scale for Christmas. So Ohmkar’s brother Ashwin has another potential winner on hands it seems.

Telugu audience always encourage any language film with good content. Dhanush is a star hero in Tamil, but he is yet to score a big hit in Telugu. Dhanush’s only considerable hit in Telugu is Raghuvaran B-Tech. The film that raked over Rs 50 Crore gross alone in Tamil Nadu had provided decent profits to Telugu buyers too.

Now, a new film under the same combination is set to hit the screens. Dhanush and Velraj’s Nava Manmadhudu (Thanga Magan in Tamil) will have simultaneous release in Telugu as well as Tamil on December 18th. Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Amy Jackson are heroines in the film while KS Ravikumar and Raadhika Sarathkumar have played Dhanush’s parents.

We learnt that, Telugu makers have first considered Raghuvaran M-Tech as title for the family drama. But, they went back on this as they got feedback from others that audience may confuse this as old film (Raghuvaran B-Tech), since only one word is different in these two titles.

Then, they confirmed Nava Manmadhudu as final title for the movie. In Telugu, Nava Manmadhudu will face tough fight from mega hero Varun Tej’s mass action entertainer Loafer. The film directed by Puri Jagannath will grace theaters on 17th November, just a day before to Nava Manmadhudu.

Mega heroes these days have grown high in numbers but they have carefully planning their release dates such that there are no clashes and enough gap with another release. Mega prince Varun Tej is however getting only a week to brandish his mettle always.

Couple of months back, when “Kanche” has hit cinemas on 22nd October, there is already Bruce Lee occupying theatres, and Varun Tej has to compete with movies like Raju Gari Gadhi and Columbus to bag theatres. A week later, Sher took some theatres and another week later Tripura grabbed the space. A proper one week is what given for Kanche to recover its investments.

Luckily all those other movies except Omkar’s movie turned flops, so Krish and Varun have breathed some relief. Akin to this 1 week feat, even “Loafer” is also given same time now to prove its mettle.

While 17th marks arrival of “Loafer”, Hindi competitors like Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani are coming up in Telugu on 18th. A week later on 25th, a horde of films including Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu, Soukyam, Bhale Manchi Roju, Jata Kalise and others are hitting cinemas. That’s litmus test for this mega hero to flaunt his power just in a week.
