From the beginning since its inception S S Rajamouli’s Baahubali has done things differently. The magnanimity of the film was such that it brought fame and accolades wherever it went. Never did Indian cinema see such a mighty film, it created records immediately after its release. When the film came on television it created records with highest TRPs. Tomorrow the film will be released on You Tube with 4K resolution. Baahubali will be the first Indian film to go on You Tube with this resolution. The film will be released in all the four languages which are Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.

S S Rajamouli will start the shoot of Baahubali 2 from 14th of December. Prabhas has been working for this film to build muscles. He has already developed his body for the role of Amarendra Baahubali. Presently Rajamouli is in talks with four visual effects companies to entrust them with the various parts of this film. The team this time has decided to complete the VFX works at various centres so that work can be done fast.

Telangana BJP president and Amberpet MLA G Kishan Reddy came under fire from his own partymen on Tuesday. Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh Lodh along with few other city BJP leaders revolted against Kishan Reddy saying that unless Kishan Reddy is removed from Telangana party president post, BJP will not have any future in Telangana. They alleged that Kishan Reddy has joined hands with land grabbers in Hyderabad and involving in ‘shady land deals’. “Kishan Reddy became so busy in land deals these days that he finds no time to think about the party or work for the growth of the party in Telangana. If party high command continues Kishan Reddy for some more days, BJP will lose its existence in Telangana,” Raja Singh said. He alleged that Kishan Reddy was behaving like a dictator in the party and not consulting anyone or informing anyone about the party activities and this led to severe resentment among BJP leaders and cadre. “Already, Mahabubnagar former MLA Yennem Srinivas Reddy resigned from BJP recently. Few more leaders are thinking of leaving the party unable to bear the undemocratic attitude of Kishan Reddy,” Raja Singh said.

He added that Kishan Reddy took one Madhu Goud, who is a land grabber in the city, into BJP though he and party cadre strongly opposed it. “Only to do real estate deals and settelements, Kishan Reddy took him into BJP against the wishes of party leaders and cadre,” he said. Raja Singh demanded Kishan Reddy to tender public apology to Hindus from on his recent comments on eating beef. “Kishan Reddy said recently that anyone can eat anything and it’s not proper to find fault with someone who is eating beef. He also said he had no objection if Narendra Modi also eats beef. His remarks hurt the sentiment of Hindus. He should apologise publicly to Hindus on this,” Raja Singh demanded. Raja Singh said he lodged a complaint with PM Modi and BJP national president against Kishan Reddy.

Hero Ram is coming up with “Nenu Sailaja” movie soon. This film is going to have newcomer, Malayali actress Keerthi Suresh in the leads. Much before her debut film hits cinemas, Keerthi is ready to sign yet another project in the tinsel town. Reeling through continuos flops, hero Sandeep Kishan is trying his luck with a remake film titled “Neram”.

This film was a super hit in both Malayalam and Tamil. We hear that two pretty beauties are zeroed on for leading heroine role and they are none other than Keerthi Suresh and Ashna Zaveri. Sandeep is said to have recommended Keerthi’s name after watching a bit of her work in “Nenu Sailaja”.

To be directed by “Mr Nookayya” fame Anil Kanneganti, the film has Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazim in the original version and we have to see how far our actors will do justice to those roles. It happens to be the story of protagonist and what happens in a day for him.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s power at Tollywood’s trade has been proved again. His upcoming film ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ is the most expected movie of Tollywood at the moment. If the inside buzz is to be believed the makers are quoting Rs.12 crores to sell the movie’s theatrical rights in Ceded area. This is more or less equal to ‘Baahubali’s theatricals. Buyers, on the other side, have already quoted more than Rs.10 crores to get the movie’s rights. It remains to be seen who would acquire the film’s rights.

Kajal Aggarwal is romancing with Pawan Kalyan in this action and comedy entertainer. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music of the movie. KS Ravindra is directing the movie. The movie is being produced by Sharat Marar on North Star Entertainment.Meanwhile, the production team is planning to release the movie in the month of March. This is likely to be the first release of summer season.

Despite delivering a hat-trick hits (Swamy Ra Ra, Karthikeya, Surya Vs Surya), hero Nikhil is down-to-earth to admit that he is not a big star. In a candid conversation, cool and composed Nikhil talks about his immediate film Sankarabharanam, working with Kona Venkat, upcoming films, marriage plans and more.

Genesis of Sankarabharanam

One fine day Kona garu asked me to come to his working office where he writes all his scripts. I went to see him thinking of why he called me. There he said that he is doing a film with me and narrated script of Sankarabharanam. However, he didn’t give me full narration, he had told me only few portion. I asked him for full narration.

Though Kona garu was big man, he was down-to-earth. He didn’t have ego. He had narrated me full version after sometime and it was spell-binding. We’ve full remake rights of Phas Gaye Re Obama. It’s not a free-make. We’re ethical and we bought total remake rights. However, the second-half has been changed.

About His Role

I play the role of an ABCD (American Born Confused Desi) NRI. Usually, American Born NRIs face ironical situation. When theyr’e in US, they’re treated as Indians and when they’re in India, due to their accent, they’re treated as US citizens. It’s a challenging to play such role. There’s a comic side to my role and every role in the film. My role is not tailor-made role for me. It suits for any hero in Telugu industry. I’m lucky it happened to me.

Titled after Classic Film?

When Kona garu first told me its title, I was shocked, taken aback. But he convinced me the reason behind naming the film so. It’s a complete marketing strategy to use a well-known name. Also, there’s a title justification for the film at its very beginning. Our film is a complete and clean movie. There’s no degrading the classic. Kona garu took permission of K. Viswanath garu who was impressed and agreed to it. In fact, he only launched our music. Our movie might not great film, but it won’t let down the classic Shankarabharanam.

Kona Dominated Director Uday?

Shankarabharanam is team effort. We’ll worked hard for it. Kona garu used to come to sets early and stay till the late night. He supervised the film whereas Uday Nandan executed it. Kona, Uday traveled for 10 years and they both together decided on shot divisions. So, there’s no question of domination. It was their collective decision. Working in Bihar wasn’t easy. We faced few tough moments as Bihar wasn’t safe due to its crime rate. But we forgot everything due to our film’s output.

On Experiments

Experiments work for me because I’m not a big star and budgets of my films are under control. A big star couldn’t take risk as huge money is at stake. I’m glad films like Swamy Ra Ra, Karthikeya and Surya Vs Surya worked for me. If I weren’t having patience to listen to umpteen scripts, I’d not have got opportunity to select such scripts and would not have find directors like Sudheer Varma, Chandu Mondeti.

Upcoming films

I’m teaming up with director VI Anand for a fantasy drama. It’s going to be made on a huge scale. Yes, I’ll be romancing three heroines in the film of which Avika Ghor has been finalised. The film’s shoot will start from Dec 25th or 26th onwards.

Karthikeya Sequel

I’m doing Karthikeya sequel. Chandu is going to direct this. It’s a proper sequel where it starts from exactly where the franchise has ended. The script has been locked and even registered.

On parting note, Nikhil said that Sankarabharanam is complete entertainer. He said he’ll be tying the knot in the next year (Probably before Summer 2016).

Super Star Rajinikanth is man of generosity. Every time when South Indian population suffered with a natural disaster or catastrophe, he was one among the first people to react. This time, Chennai city and some more parts of Tamil Nadu are inundated with overflowing floods. Actually, last one month has been a tough time for Tamil Nadu and especially the lives in Chennai are battered with no power, no transportation and the picture looks very much dull because Regional Meteorological Centre staff forecasted heavy rains for next one week. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has sought Rs. 2000 Crores financial relief from Central government but Centre announced Rs 940 Crores assistance immediately. Nadigar Sangam has begun the initiatives to collect more funds from cinema celebrities and Rajinikanth appears to be the one to react initially.

Rajinikanth, Suriya, Karthi, Vishal and Dhanush have donated Rs. 40 Lakhs to the Nadigar Sangam which will be credited into CM Relief Fund. Other stars like Vijayakanth, Raghava Lawrence and Anirudh Ravichander have also donated generously. Rajinikanth’s Sri Raghavendra Public Charitable Trust donated 10 Lakhs for victims.
