Writer cum presenter Kona Venkat taking the title of ‘Sankarabharanam,’ a cult master piece of yester generation for his upcoming film starring Nikhil, Nanditha, Anjali in leads has left many of the music lovers and passionate K Vishwanath followers in a bit of disappointment. With a Bihar and kidnap backdrop, the new one is said to be inspired from Hindi flick ‘Phas Gaya Re Obama.’

‘Coming to title justification and why we picked up ‘Sankarabharanam’ as title for this film, I need to give some clarity. Initially, we haven’t got any story line connecting with the title to give a proper justification. But, later we molded it as per the title. Within first fifteen minutes into film, you will understand the importance of title. Thankfully, I also took the permission of legendary K Vishwanath garu before announcing the title,’ Kona informed media. ‘Even Vishwanath garu said, ‘I know about you Kona, you won’t damage the reverence in the title.’ I am very happy with his co-operation,’ Kona added. This also shows the confidence K Vishwanath had on Kona Venkat.

Koratala Siva happens to be one big director, writer who is re-defining the value of a good story in commanding the Box Office result. The way he added superb commercial value and excellent treatment to ‘Srimanthudu’ concept drove a strong message to society and also bought home unimaginable profits. Such is the peculiar sense in scripting and directing a commercial film shown by Koratala. May it be ‘Mirchi’ or ‘Brindavanam’ or ‘Srimanthudu,’ he never compromised on story. ‘Actually, I never give much of concern towards Awards. At the same time, I feel very happy when any of my team members win Awards representing for my films. Such instances boost their confidence,’ Rajamouli gives a sensible answer. As we all know, ‘Bahubali’ is being selected as major entry at many prestigious Award events and results would be out very soon. When producers, buyers are making bulk money and audience adoring every film from him, Awards and Rewards aren’t as valuable as this for Jakkanna.

His new movie ‘Bengal Tiger’ is all set for a grand release on December 10. The movie was directed by Sampath Nandi. Ravi Teja is expected to strike back with ‘Bengal Tiger’ and ‘Yevado Okadu’.

Mega Prince Varun Tej’s upcoming film ‘Loafer’s audio launch date has been locked to December 7. This mega event will be held at Shilpakalavedika of Hyderabad. Buzz that Young Rebel Star Prabhas will grace the event as a chief guest of the movie. Megastar Chiranjeevi might not attend this event while mega brother Nagababu will be attending this star studded event.

‘Loafer’ has been directed by Puri Jagannadh. Disha patani has teamed up with Varun Tej in the film. Sunil Kashyap has composed the music of the movie. The movie is being produced by C Kalyan. Varun Tej’s ‘Kanche’ has received accolades from the critics as well as the common audiences. Kona Venkat took a dig at Srinu Vaitla alleging the director changed the script of his in making Mega power Star Ram Charan’s ‘Bruce Lee’. Even if the star writer’s allegations on the director are proved right, Kona should not have blamed the director.

Kona Venkat could have complained about the director to the producers when he watched the rushes of the movie. Hits and flops are just run-of-the-mill of movies and one should digest a movie’s fate. In contrast, Kona appeared to have thrown the blame on the director Srinu Vaitla.Incidentally, Kona Venkat wrote the dialogues for ‘Akhil’ movie that was bombed at the box office. Can Kona own the movie’s failure? Certainly not! That’s why Kona should stop blaming on others and should keep concentrating on his projects.

Meanwhile, Kona Venkat’s production venture ‘Shankarabharanam’ will be releasing on December 4 across the globe. The movie was directed by Uday Nandanavanam on MVV Cinema. Nikhil and Nanditha have played the lead roles of the movie.

Highly esteemed cinematographer Senthil Kumar appeared to have blown his own trumpet in an innovative way. As we know, the prime reason for the runaway success of ‘Baahubali’ was never seen VFX work and the cinematography done by Senkthil, who captured the graphic shots of the movie.

Senthil, however, in his recent interview revealed that there were many errors in CGI of the movie. “As a Director of Photography, I am disappointed by a lot of things in ‘Baahubali’. There are so many scenes where there were keying mistakes, which made the CGI look fake. There were issues related to the depth of field, there are motion blurs. Hence we are trying to rectify this problem in the second film (Baahubali 2). I hope it gets a slicker image,” said Senthil Kumar.

Meanwhile, ‘Baahubali 2’ will get its formal launch done on December 14. The movie is likely to be released in early first half of 2017. Young Rebel Star Prabhas, Rana, Anushka and Tamannah are the lead star cast of this Rajamouli’s directorial venture.

‘1-Nenokkadine’s disaster result was a major setback for Sukumar as a director. When the director was roped in as the director for Young Tiger NTR’s ‘Naannaku Prematho’, everything didn’t appear a fine feather. On the other hand, success would come once in a blue moon day for NTR till the release of ‘Temper’. At this juncture it appeared like a wild goose chase the project to be hyped.

However, one success of Sukumar in the form of ‘Kumari 21F’ has made the difference and made the director merry. In fact, Sukumar left megaphone to debutant Surya Pratap and stepped into the shoes of a producer of the movie. Even then, Sukumar’s presence was felt in the movie. which in turn created additional hype on ‘Naannaku Prematho’.

Speculations are doing rounds that ‘Naannaku Prematho’ is being sold out with record prices in various areas. In Nizam, Abhishek Pictures reportedly bagged the movie’s rights to Rs.16 crores. In Overseas, the movie fetched Rs.7.10 crores while in Ceded the movie was sold out to Rs.8.45 crores. In other areas also the movie is likely to do record business among NTR’s films. Like previous films of NTR, it’s not going with the stream. Roots and branches of the film, for now, might not be revealed by the production team. However, at the end of the day, they wish to win the laurels. As men of letters are working for the movie who include NTR and Sukumar, there will be bright chances the movie to hit the bulls eye.

Slowly recovering from the failure result of ‘Bruce Lee,’ the time gap taken by Ramcharan to accept his next assignment ‘Thani Oruvan’ Telugu remake is surely acceptable. To be directed by Surender Reddy, there is internal news on entire Tamil script is re-written ensuring that hero-villain conflict is made more balanced. In the original, Aravind Swamy as antagonist dominated the total show subsiding heroism from Jayam Ravi. Analyzing the reasons behind consecutive failures, Charan and Chiranjeevi offered plenty of inputs to Surender Reddy during the script re-writing.

Although story element in the film is so strong, they do not want to dilute it for the sake of unnecessary heroism elevation. Yet, there are few major changes made and Charan accepted it. May be by December second week, there is high probability for Surender Reddy to go Chennai and give a total narration before Aravind Swamy. Only on his acceptance, shooting can begin in February or March next week as and when all the cast and technical crew will be locked.

For the first time in Tollywood, a film named as ‘Affair’ stroked the headlines with bold images of heroines Prashanthi and Geethanjali caught in odd postures. Directed by Sri Rajan, the movie has also got some sort of support from Ram Gopal Varma and finally it has hit the screens yesterday.

Apparently, the major focus of makers was on promoting lesbianism as the story element using the photos of two heroines. In contrast, the result turned out to be a dud with no takers on release day. Reports suggest that, ‘Affair’ had nothing like a subject on lesbianism to discuss. Cream in the script is about a psycho going on a killing spree and how these two babes are caught in the middle. Whatever the inner subject may be, result is ‘Affair’ has no fire in it and going to disappear from theaters in less than a week.

Despite ‘Bruce Lee’ tremors are slowly waning down, media is here not to allow writer Kona Venkat from doing so. Apparently, Kona is here to discuss about his upcoming film ‘Sankarabharanam’ releasing in the next week. Along with the discussion on highlights of this movie, media even tried to do some post mortem on Kona-Vytla relation getting affected with ‘Bruce Lee’ failure.

‘There are opinion differences between both of us. But, there is no truth in those gossips which were floated on me taking legal action against Srinu. How good relations between two members may be, there is a minor scope for petty issues to become serious. I am more of an emotional person and there was an outburst. We might meet somewhere in coming days and start working as a team again.

Coming to ‘Bruce Lee,’ this film degraded my image in the eyes of Mega Fans. I wrote 72 scenes for this movie and gave it to Srinu. As a director, he has every right to edit them but using those scenes as it is would have helped the movie to do better. The damage was done to my brand when Srinu added my name into the writers list. So, I was deeply hurt,’ Kona said.
