Today is Naga Chaitanya’s 28th birthday and celebrating this occasion, the makers of his upcoming film Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo released a stylish new teaser that showcased an intense Naga Chaitanya in typical Gautham Menon style. The teaser, which starts off with an English voiceover, slowly transforms into an action-packed thriller.

Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo unveils the story of a young man played by Naga Chaitanya and how his life takes an unexpected turn on a crucial moment. How Chai prepares himself for that crucial moment forms the rest of the film. Typical of Gautham Menon’s films, SSS too features splendidly shot slick action sequences and crisp dialogues.

With Ye Maaya Chesave, Chai and Gautham weaved a poetic love story. Let’s wait until January to see what the classy duo has in store for us this time. The film has Malayali beauty Manjima Mohan as the heroine and AR Rahman is the music director.

IIFA Utsavam is full of mega boosts at the moment. Already we’ve revealed that Mega hero Allu Sirish is trying his luck with the hosting of the event that will be held in Hyderabad. This first every southern version of IIFA Awards is having another mega reason to celebrate.

For the first time ever, Mega Powerstar Ram Charan is going to perform live for the event. He will be dancing on the stage along with his set of dancers who are all being trained by popular event choreographer Shiamak Davar who Shiamak Dance Academy is very famous.

Already Charan is practicing his moves along with this team, as he will dance for a medley of Chiranjeevi’s past super hits and then a bunch of songs from his own films and also from Bunny, Varun and Saidharam’s movies. That will be a mega treat to watch for sure.

Taking many by surprise, actor Vishnu Manchu has gone shirtless for his next Sarada. Shedding his shirt, Vishnu bares his chest, abs in the first look of the film hinting that the movie is not just comedy but also has action elements. But we hear that comedy will overtake other elements in the film.

Comedy is Vishnu’s forte. Be it Dhee or Denikaina Ready, it’s his trademark humour that worked out well and tickled funny bone of audiences. Vishnu is now planning to repeat this feat with his next Sarada.

Tipped to be a youthful romance laced with family elements, entertainment, the film is directed by  Karthik Reddy of Adda fame. Heroine Sonarika, who sizzled alongside Naga Shourya in Jadoogadu, is romancing Vishnu in Sarada.

Currently, Anushka is waiting for the release of ‘Size Zero’ and we all knew the amount of hard work and physical strain she has undergone to portray the central obese character.

I am surprised when people tell me, I look like a queen.

My mother is first responsible for all this to happen. She loves historical subjects a lot and always wanted to see me in those characters. Now that I’ve done ‘Rudhramadevi, Arundathi’ and ‘Bahubali’ is on the way, my mother’s thoughts are getting translated into films,’ Anushka says. So, she is a queen from her mother…!

Tanikella Bharani well known movie artist and writer who debuted in to performing arts 40 years ago from the Ravindra Bharathi stage addressing a Theater play said he wants to hear the news of a Plays tickets being sold in Black.

Talking of the diminishing theater art, Tanikella Bharani said a stage performer can make it big on the silver scree but it is not all too easy for a cine artist to perform good on a live stage. He said a Stage/Theater artist capacity is immense and that is the capacity of Theater art.

He also wished for Theater especially the Telugu Theater art to reach a stage where the show’s tickets are all sold out and the demand of it so huge that the tickets are being sold in Black like the movie tickets. He further said that theater is where the performer has his results immediately in form of audience applauds and quipped that audience also clap when they don’t want anymore of the act.

Versatile actor Dr Mohan Babu has come a long way. Without any filmy connection, Mohan Babu reached heights on his own. On the eve of completing 40 years of successful run in the Telugu film industry, Mohan Babu reminisced his early days in industry.

Giving full credit to legendary director Dasari Narayana Rao who gave him big break with Swargam Narakam and turning Bhaktavatsalam Naidu into Mohan Babu, the Pedarayudu star turned emotional.

“Though I’ve shared most of my experiences before, I deliberately didn’t share few. All those memories are coming to my mind today. There were days, I struggled to pay house rent of Rs 20. When I failed to pay 3 months of rent and I wasn’t there at the room, the owner had urinated in my cooking vessels.

After coming to house, when I wanted to make food I realised what he did. I couldn’t do anything. The next day I had cleaned up my vessels and cooked food in the same vessels,” Mohan Babu shared a distressing incident from his past.

He added that he is now fortunate to have luxuries and wear good clothes. He said that he has never forget his roots and always believe in staying grounded. After Swargam Narakam, Mohan Babu didn’t look back and acted in over 520 films and produced over 50 films under Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures.

He worked with the legendary NTR, Rajinikanth and many others. Mohan Babu also established Sree Vidyaniketan group of educational institutions offering quality education to students as well as providing employment to thousands. Story of a hard-working, disciplined actor to get inspired!

All those rumours of new additions to Baahubali-2 are now cleared. Producer Shobu Yarlagadda in an interview confirmed himself that the movie will not have any new additions contrary to the rumours doing rounds.

The regular shooting of the film will begin on December 16th and the movie is planned towards the end of 2016. 40% complete of the movie shooting is already complete along with the first part shoot.

VFX Supervisor Srinivas Mohan who earned national level recognition for his excellent work in Rajamouli’s magnum opus film, Baahubali had now quit the sequel project. Rajamouli had brought in Kamal Kannan who worked for Eega and Magadheera in his place now.

The way Ohmkar helped his younger brother Ashwin to realize his dream of becoming a hero by making two films ‘Genius, Raju Gari Gadi’ is really heart touching. ‘Genius’ ended as a failure while ‘Raju Gari Gadi’ not only helped Ohmkar to get a nice break as director but also made Ashwin to fall in many eyes. Thanks for the support from Varahi Banner’s Sai Korrapati because ‘Raju Gari Gadi’ grew big in reach only after getting it in his hands.

Now, Sai Korrapati is one more time helping Ashwin by buying the overall rights of ‘Jatha Kalise’ movie starring Ashwin as hero and Tejaswini as heroine. The project is already under production and entry of Sai should provide wider focus and promotions in the audience. Though more details are yet to be known, there will be a gradual hype for ‘Jatha Kalise.’

Ashwin started his career as a dance contestant in Ohmkar’s ‘Aata’ show. Later, Ashwin and Ohmkar jointly stepped into films with ‘Genius’ from the production house of Dasari Kiran Kumar. Rest is pretty much known to all.

On the occasion of Mohan Babu completing 40 years of cinema journey, Dasari Narayana Rao offered a pleasant surprise by casually announcing to make one more memorable, milestone film with Mohan Babu. The relation between Mohan Babu and Dasari is more like family members and Guru-Shishya bonding. As we all know, Dasari is one person who made Bhaktha Vatsalam Naidu turn into Mohan Babu with the film ‘Swargam Narakam.’

Young Tiger NTR’s ‘Naannaku Prematho’ appears to be one of the most promising films at the box office in near future. Since the expectation are high the makers have been approached with record prices by the buyers.

Grapevine is that ‘Naannaku Prematho’s theatrical rights were soled out Rs.7.10 crores for US area which is just next to Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ and Prince Mahesh’s ‘Srimanthudu’. It is a known thing that NTR will be seen in a complete makeover for this movie with a different style of hair and the beard. First look stills and teasers have got engaging response from the movie lovers.

‘Naannaku Prematho’ was directed by Sukumar. Rakul Preet Singh plays opposite to NTR in this stylish action entertainer. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music of the movie. Th movie is being produced by BVSN Prasad on Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra. January 13 is the scheduled release date of the movie.

If there is any big name or brand associated with ‘Size Zero’ to sell in the market, then it is just the value Anushka holds among Telugu audience. Apparently, there is enough of glamour spilled by other heroine Sonal Chauhan and presence of Arya as hero is of course special but Anushka alone is enough to take a strong domination over every artist and technical crew attached with this cute film.

‘Size Zero’ story is about an obese girl and the kind of pressure she undergoes just because of her fat figure. Main plot is how Anushka overcomes this pressure and falls in love with Arya. This means obviously Anushka will be in the central role and remaining artists should just support her.

‘No, there is nothing like Anushka overshadowing me or the other way. Entire film primarily revolves around Anushka and this does not stop me from very purpose of signing this project. I signed this assignment solely because of innocence in script,’ Arya replied. Not simply the physical weight burden, Anushka has even taken the ‘size Zero’ project burden into her weight. Hope, it pays off well from 27th of this month in theaters.

Mega Prince Varun Tej is all set to release on December 18th. The audio launch event of the movie will take place on December 8th at Shilpa Kala Vedhika amid fans. The last minute post production works are currently going on.

Varun Tej so far has one disaster (Mukundha) and one average (Kanche) in his career, he is banking on Puri’s brand immensely to make a point with this film. The actor will be seen as a robber who reforms later.

The movie reportedly will have good dose of mother sentiment. Bollywood babe Disha Patani will be making her Telugu debut with this film. Posani Krishna Murali and Revathi will be seen as his parents in the film.

A new teaser of Naga Chaitanya’s Swaasaga Swasaga Saagipo was released this morning as the hero’s Birthday Special. The new teaser which is more than a minute long reveals the action side in the film. The movie begins with Gautam Menon’s voice-over about the hero with introduction visuals.

The second half has Naga Chaitanya narrating how situations can force a change in happy-go-lucky guy to violent. The dialogue is impressive there and Amol Rathod’s visuals need a special mention.

Manjima Mohan is seen as a simple girl next door girl while Singer Baba Sehgal as bad-ass police officer. Overall the teaser manages to create a good impression. The movie is being planned for January 2016 release.
