Of late, there has been severe criticism against the boring and monotonous platter of comedy being served by the legendary king of comedy Brahmanandam in almost all his recent films. Especially, the star comedian’s humor acts backfired and failed to tickle the funny bones of his fans in films like Bruce Lee and Shivam, where the makers banked heavily on Brahmanandam.

However, scorning off the ‘stale and boring comedy’ criticism that he has been facing in his latest interview, Brahmanandam said he simply acts the way his writers and directors design and ask him to execute his characters. “I do what my directors and writers ask me to do. I can’t argue with them that this character is routine or similar to my earlier films,” said Brahmi, who also said that he does not take the criticism seriously.

Brahmi, who has acted in more than 1000 films till date, also said that he has not yet though about retiring from films until now. “By god’s grace, I have made people laugh all these years and I will continue as long as I can,” said the legend. Currently, Brahmi is totally busy with at least 10-15 films in hand, the prominent ones being Sardaar Gabbar Singh, Bengal Tiger, Soggade Chinni Nayana, Loafer and Soukhyam etc.

To keep it simple, technology wise we are no match to the “Avatar” kind of work. Even if Rajamouli wants to deliver such films, he needs to work in Hollywood, and also forget the masala-styled hero-centric story telling that’s centred around Telugu cinema. Still, how could Rajamouli beat Avatar.

With his “Baahubali” Rajamouli has a chance to beat Avatar movie made by director James Cameron. All these days we’ve seen ‘trilogy’ films, a set of three films, narrating a continued story. The third sequel always concluded the story. But “Avatar” is the first film that is going to have three more sequels to the existing flick, giving continuation to the story and concluding it in the fourth part. That means James Cameron is making a ‘tetralogy’ film, the first in the world.

Now if Rajamouli could continue his story of Baahubali for three more parts, then he will be the first in the world before Cameron to make such series of films. Though Rajamouli stated that the story started in Baahubali 1 will be concluded in 2nd part itself and then there will be a new story altogether from 3rd part onwards, he may change his mind, in case if he wants to beat Avatar. Otherwise Rajamouli will be making series of films like James Bond and Harry Potter, but they don’t fall under trilogy and tetralogy kind.

Neither beach romance in North India nor conversion of religion seem to be true in the case of heroine Nayantara. While beach romance is a mere figment of imagination, the origin of all these conversion rumours is her latest trip to Rome.

Last Wednesday (18th) Nayan celebrated her 31st birthday. To kick start the celebrations she went to an European tour, where she will spend her time in Milan, Italy. However, Nayan also visited Vatican City in Rome and got a glimpse of Pope too during the everyday where lakhs of tourists get a glimpse of the religious leader.

This is however being spread as Nayan met Pope directly to convert into Christian fold again, while she has converted to Hinduism earlier though she is a Christian by birth.

It sounds silly, because Nayantara will not be heading to Pope in Rome to convert to Christianity, there are enough churches back here in India. And meeting Pope directly sounds something too cinematic. Nayan has just visited Rome, there is nothing like spread in media.

Young Tiger NTR is currently shooting for creative director Sukumar’s Nannaku Prematho. Around a month ago, NTR released the first teaser of Sukumar’s debut home production, Kumari 21F, which immediately got all the attention for the film. And now, just a night before the film’s worldwide release, NTR praised the film to no limits.

Last night, NTR watched Kumari 21F in a special premiere and couldn’t stop raving about the film. He personally congratulated the film’s music composer Devi Sri Prasad and the cinematographer Rathnavelu for their work. Not stopping here, NTR took to his Twitter page to drench the film with praises.

The Young Tiger tweeted, “A new age luv story..KUMARI 21F.throughly loved it!!!Pratap Devi and Randy excelled to the highest.heebah and raj were at their best.” Sharing a few praising lines about his director and Kumari 21F producer, Tarak said, “Last but not the least a very heart touching story from the master himself SUKKU Garu..hats off for the brave and bold writing sir.”

Well, no doubt that NTR has surely raised the expectation levels among his fans and movie lovers about Kumari 21F with his tweets.
