Koratala Siva To Direct Hrithik Roshan

As reported by us earlier, Hrithik Roshan is likely to reprise Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu in the Hindi remake of Srimanthudu. The latest buzz is that writer-director Koratala Siva who originally made movie in Telugu, is expected to helm the Hindi remake as well. Discussions regarding this are going on.

Siva has 50 per cent share in the Hindi remake rights whereas the rest lies with Eros International. Hence both are joining forces to make the movie. Hrithik has already watched the movie couple of times and impressed with it. However, Hrithik suggested few changes in the climax and Koratala would be making those changes soon.

Hrithik’s dad Rakesh Roshan himself likely to be playing onscreen dad (essayed by Jagapathi Babu in Telugu) in the Hindi version. First Koratala would start his next (Janatha Garage) with Jr NTR from January. After wrapping up the film in August 2016, he’ll work on the Hindi version of Srimanthudu from September 2016.

Hype Can Kill Mahesh Babu’s Business

Other than in “Srimanthudu” case, the two times when Mahesh’s films are sold for higher prices, the result is drastic. It not only affected distributors, but our himself said, ‘lot of money and things are at stake’ and he got disappointed hugely. There was a time when Mahesh said sorry to fans But what’s the reason for all this hype and over-the-top selling.

During both 1 Nenokadine and Aagadu days, Mahesh’s movies got huge hype, due to various factors. His sky rocketing charm and stardom coupled with the image of director have brightened the chances of selling. Blame it high production costs or other issues from producers side, those two film got sold for hefty prices, more than 70+ crores business, and when the films flopped, that led to heft losses. The bigger thing to be looked upon is, hype has led some big Bollywood companies owning those movies and that has led to selling at high prices.

Now that the news of Mahesh’s next with AR Murugadoss is out, and hyped that Mahesh is getting around 25 crores as remuneration, no doubt Bollywood companies will be trying to own the movie at higher rates. Will that lead local distributors to invest heavily again? Not this time maybe, because 2015 haven’t been productive for any as Srimanthudu helped them only to recover previous losses. So, hype could kill business this time.

ZARA SHAH

Twelve years after the award-winning Telugu film Aithe was released, director Raj Mudiraj is making Aithe 2.0, in Telugu and Hindi. The film was launched on Tuesday in Hyderabad.

Raj, meanwhile, says that it is not a sequel. “Aithe 2.0 is a techno thriller which highlights the ill effects of social media and technology on youth. It’s going to be a different film and has no similarities with Aithe. But I can say that my film is a complete reboot version of the old film. The Hindi version is titled Pirates 1.0,” says Raj.

Shooting has already started and the director plans to complete it in 40-45 days. The actors are a mix from the Hindi and Telugu industries — Indraneel Sen Gupta, Zara Shah, Abhishek, Karthavya Sharma, Neeraj, Mrunal and Mrudanjali. K. Vijayarama Raju is producing this bilingual film.

Three producers, Radha Mohan of Bengal Tiger, PVP of Size Zero and Kona Venkat of Sankarabharanam, have come to an understanding and have decided to release their films within a week from each other instead of simultaneously. “In the present scenario, most films need just one week to get good revenues, so we decided to release our films with one-week gaps,” says PVP, praising producer Radha Mohan’s decision to postpone Bengal Tiger to a later date.

Says Radha Mohan, “First I wanted to release on November 5, but Akhil’s movie was there, so I postponed it to November 27. But Size Zero will be releasing then. Now I am releasing on December 10 to give space to Sankarabharanam too.”

“Generally if a film is postponed, rumours spread that the film is having a reshoot. But at this juncture PVP and Radha Mohan clarified about their release dates. This is a good sign for the industry and I hope everyone gets good revenues,” says Kona. The films are now releasing on November 27, December 4 and 10 respectively.

The launch of Chiranjeevi’s niece Niharika Konidela’s debut film was a low-key affair. Her film was launched officially on Monday as the makers felt that it was an auspicious day. Only her family members and the film’s unit was present at the launch. Rama Raju is the director and Madhura Sridhar is producing the film.

“We worked a lot on the script and conducted workshops. It was very successful and most of the actors are ‘in character’. So at this time, we didn’t want to disturb them with a big launch function and had a low-key launch,” says Madhura.

Naga Shaurya is playing the lead actor in this film. Shooting will continue in Hyderabad for a few days and then shift to Araku near Vizag for the major schedule.

Millions sent from Australia to fund terror groups

terrorists_0_2_0_0

Sydney: Australia said Wednesday it was striving to shut down money flows to terrorist groups after its anti-money laundering agency tracked Aus$53 million (US$38 million) in suspect transactions in a year. Government body AUSTRAC said that between July 2014 and June 2015, it monitored more than 100 people “of interest” and investigated 536 suspicious transactions valued at Aus$53 million, most of which were associated with militant groups in Iraq and Syria. “Those 100 are obviously part of a wider group of people who we’re worried about supporting ISIL,” Justice Minister Michael Keenan told reporters in Canberra, using an acronym for the Islamic State group. “Because it’s not just money we are concerned about, but other Australians who might be involved such as (in) recruitment.”

Australia has been increasingly worried about its nationals travelling to war zones in the Middle East to join militant groups. The government estimates some 120 Australians are in Iraq and Syria supporting the Islamic State and other terror-linked groups, with another 160 actively supporting extremist organisations at home through financing and recruitment. Canberra has also been concerned about attacks by home-grown extremists. It has raised its terror threat level to high, introduced new national security laws and conducted several counter-terrorism raids. It plans to tighten laws further to restrict the movements of suspects as young as 14 after a 15-year-old boy shot dead a police employee in early October.

AUSTRAC cautioned that not all the Aus$53 million in transactions would be directly funding terrorism, since some funds were mixed in with legitimate financing. But it drew a link between the amount of money and people going overseas, adding that some Aus$11 million of the transactions were in cash. “Currently, the volume of terrorism financing in Australia is linked to the number of Australians travelling to join terrorist groups in Syria and Iraq,” AUSTRAC said in its annual report presented to parliament Tuesday. “Australians travelling to fight in the region may fund their own activities or receive financial support from Australian sympathisers.”

I’ll Show My Bikini Body Proudly To Kids

Do people in the west think differently than us, especially in terms of sexuality, flaunting curvaceous figure and talking those stuff with children? If we have to go by what Pawan Kalyan’s Puli heroine Nikeesha Patel has said, then we may say yes.

When asked about going scorching hot for screen, like she has done in couple of recent films in Tamil and Kannada, Nikeesha says, there’s nothing wrong it. “Obviously when you’re sitting in a beach, the costume is a bikini only. Even on screen, I don’t mind to wear.

Years later I could show that to my kids telling this how your mom used to look then”, she says. Even at the promotions of her latest Tamil Karioram, which will be ‘Leela’ in Telugu, she flaunted her curves in a revealing outfits.

Despite all this openness, why Nikeesha failed to get huge offers? “I’ve got calls from many big heroes during the time of Puli. But I’ve quoted huge remuneration at that time. I don’t have regrets about it anyway”, she quipped. Anyway, Nikeesha’s no-big-deal attitude with bikini is the talk of town now.

Google to answer complex questions soon

How_the_Google_app_2624851f

Google has updated its mobile app to better understand complex queries and decipher the meaning of questions. Following the introduction of Knowledge Graph in 2012, which provided information on individual brands, countries and public figures, Google is now seeking to understand the meaning of questions, rather than simply understanding each component of a phrase individually. “We can now break down a query to understand the semantics of each piece,” Google said in a blog post.

“So now we can get at the intent behind the entire question. That lets us traverse the Knowledge Graph much more reliably to find the right facts and compose a useful answer. And we can build on this base to answer harder questions,” it said. In its blog post, Google put any initial failures down to the launch jitters and said it will improve over time. “We’re still growing and learning, which means we make mistakes. But know that we’re working hard on understanding your questions better so that we can find the answer to whatever you’re looking for,” it said.

Richa has no plans of Comeback

Richa Gangopadhyay is one actress who bagged plum offers in Tollywood. She left Telugu Cinema when offers are coming her way, to pursue her higher studies in USA. But the NRI girl was active on Twitter and in one of her recent interaction with fans, she declared that she is not planning to comeback.

“Will always be grateful for my 5 years as an actress, but am even more grateful to what it taught me about myself and what I really want. For me, life is more than just about pretty shoots, dialogues, awards, fame, material pleasures…and especially being someone you’re not. Im an introvert by nature and tried out the acting profession to try something new.

It was a learning experience for sure 🙂 (sic)”, Richa tweeted. She tried to explain that she was never interested in films but that happened by chance. She further explained that even the marriage plans are not on cards any sooner. Whatever may be her future, lets wish her all the best.

Balakrishna Has A Lesson To Learn from Nagarjuna

A statement from Akhil on foreseeing Nandamuri Mokshagna as real competitor for him in near future has raised many eye brows because Akhil nowhere gave a thought to present generation young heroes as his threats. Well, that’s a rare exposure of confidence in this young sensation. If Akkineni Fans enjoyed the statement in one perspective, Nandamuri Fans are cautioning the same in their own perspective.

Although Balakrishna hasn’t revealed any future plans about introducing Moksha to films as the youngster is still occupied with studies, there is enough of knowledge he would have gained watching the obstacles Nagarjuna faced in launching Akhil. Like Nagarjuna, even Balayya has a big family name to base on and good command over industry circles to trace a story or director but it’s a big gamble there on.

Instead of waiting till the penultimate hour, Balakrishna should make it a habit to keep an eye and ear on new stories which can possibly suit for Mokshagna. Of course trends are dynamic in film industry but Moksha having blessed with the tag of Nandamuri advantage can easily register his position if Balayya groups a right combination of talents in writer, producer and director.

Chiranjeevi, Trace New Talents For 150th

chiranjeevi-trace-new-talents-for-150th_b_1911150941

Despite repeated requests from Ramcharan not to address Chiranjeevi cameo in ‘Bruce Lee’ as Mega Star’s 150th film, a section of anti Fans have been so provocative to call it as Chiranjeevi’s 149.5 and 150th. So far, Mega family failing to give any clarity on milestone film is further leading to more confusion and space for anti Fans to comment and criticize which obviously is proving irksome for Mega Fans.

Well, the present situation of Chiranjeevi can be very well analyzed. Till the time they come across a strong story and script, they cannot announce anything officially. On the other side, Chiru cannot take the risk of accepting a weak story just for sake of pleasing Fans temporarily. There is a recent buzz on ‘Kaththi’ or ‘Vedalam’ remake as most probable scripts, Mega family is looking at.

Before blaming it on inefficiency of our senior writers and star directors, why not Chiranjeevi come out of his regular circle and try something new from fresh talents? Before getting it too late and breaking more promises, Chiru has to realize a truth that industry is well seeded with many new, innovative thoughts. The task is to find those right guys crossing all the barriers.
