Energetic Star Ram and Srinu Vaitla’s ‘Ready’ was a big hit long time ago. Thereafter, the combo has never repeated as Srinu Vaitla emerged as one of the directors of Tollywood while Ram was busy working with a couple of other projects..

However, the recent debacles of ‘Aagadu’ and ‘Bruce Lee’ turned out to be major setbacks for the director. He needs to prove, himself, again scoring a big hit at this crucial moment. Buzz that Ram and Srinu Vaitla would be teaming up soon for a new venture. Details of this project will be announced soon.

Having delivered three flops in a row, Ram scored a successful movie ‘Pandaga Chesko’. Then again, his latest offing ‘Shivam’ has become a dud. His new film ‘Nenu Sailaja’ will be releasing soon. With their new film, Ram and Srinu Vaitla are expected to be rejuvenated and would be busy with more number of crazy projects.

The time when Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s ‘Bruce Lee’ was released and got negative reports, the movie was lambasted more than like anything by the media and the anti fans. They treated and rated the movie as the career’s biggest flop of Ram Charan.

Finally, ‘Bruce Lee’ ended up with with Rs. 41+ crores share collections bringing 20% to 30% losses to its distributors. Even then, ‘Bruce Lee’s share is almost equal to the shares of some of the successful ventures like ‘Temper’ etc. and crossed ‘Manam’, ‘Legend’ etc.

The status of a movie can better be elevated with the comparison with other crazy projects released in the same season. In that way, ‘Bruce Lee’ is elevated with the recent flop results of some other crazy projects which got very poor collections comparing with ‘Bruce Lee’ which, further, marked the range of Ram Charan. “Unless there is a good screen presence and grace in dances being exhibited by Ram Charan, ‘Bruce Lee’ couldn’t have got 41+ crores collections,” says a source.

Gunasekhar’s ambitious project, Rudhramadevi completed its full run. The movie had ended up as a loss venture for buyers but is a safe project for the producer (with little losses) due to the other languages release.

The movie had amassed about 50 Crore share from all languages making it 11th biggest all time hit. This also makes Allu Arjun the first hero to have a hat-trick of 50 Crore share films. When we consider it as a female centric film, it is the biggest hit in the entire South India in the category.

After consolidating the views expressed by people of various sections, it has been understood that Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s latest political move received unanimous negative response from all corners except from a few people. Even political analysts like Telakapalli Ravi threw satires on Pawan Kalyan with the dialogues like, ” Choodappa Siddhappa! Vunte rajakeeyallo vundu, lekunte cinemalu chesko’.

As we know, Pawan Kalyan met the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada recently and extended his support to the CM. This meet was highly criticized for the following reasons.

* Exact reason for the meet was not understood by many people while opposition parties felt it was merely a useless meet.

* It has been widely circulated in media that the AP government arranged a special chartered flight for Pawan Kalyan, incurring lakhs of public money.

* Neither Pawan Kalyan nor CBN disclosed the topics discussed in their meet.

* All in all the meet was appraised as an expensive meet that wasted lot of public money and the time.

‘Bruce Lee’ and ‘Aagadu’ results have pulled director Srinu Vytla to dangerously lowest levels of losing his self confidence. There were also new doubts on Vytla having lost his commercial touch and the creative differences with writer Kona Venkat also needs a mentioning here. To get himself free from all these tough situations, the ace director took a three week leave escaping to an undisclosed location.

If latest buzz in film circles has to be believed, Vytla is back in Hyderabad couple of days ago and also began the initiatives for his next project. He is currently in a fresh thought of mind and working on storyline for none other than Energetic Star Ram. Yes, Ram and Vytla happen to be a superb combination who can repeat their old charm.

Just like Srinu even Ram’s career is in doldrums with his last movie ‘Shivam’ turning a true disaster. Ram can never say no to his favorite director and going by present scenario, Vytla too knows a fact that Ram is only best opportunity before him to recover lost good will. Akkineni Akhil’s debut film ‘Akhil’ is showing disappointing performance in the US. The closing collections of the movie could be somewhere around $170K. The movie was reportedly sold out to Rs.4 crores in the territory but the film is likely to end up around Rs.60 lakhs share in the area.

Meanwhile, ‘Akhil’ collected a share of Rs.12.95 crores at the end of its four days run in AP and Telangana. The movie has been directed by VV Vinayak. Sayesha Saigal has done opposite to Akhil in this romantic and action entertainer. Thaman and Anup Rubens have composed the music of the movie.

Hero Nithiin has produced ‘Akhil’ on Shresht Movies. Meanwhile, Akhil has left for Goa for holidaying. The details of his new movie will be known soon. The movie is likely to be made on Annapurna Studios.

Naga Chaitanya is attempting the remake of Malayalam blockbuster, Premam. The film is titled Majnu and will be directed by Karthikeya fame Chandoo Mondenti. The film will have its launch on December 1st and the film will start rolling immediately after its launch. The makers of Majnu have decided to complete the movie in record pace.

They have chalked out 90 days non-stop schedule for the movie and the movie is being planned for May release the next year. Majnu will be shot extensively in the exotic locales of Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Goa, Europe, Pollachi and Araku.

Shruti Hassan, Rakul Preet Singh and Anupama Parameshwaran are the heroines as per the rumour mills. Buzz is that Nagarjuna will be seen in a little cameo while Victory Venkatesh will play the hero’s father in the movie. More details of this project later.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is now in Rajahmundry for the shooting of his next film, Sarainodu in the direction of Boyapati Srinu. The move unit is canning few important scenes on Bunny and Aadi Pinnisetty there. The movie is being readied for early Summer release the next year.

The movie is said to be an action oriented love story. The makers are planning to complete the film in non stop schedules. Both Bunny and Allu Arjun are on a high after their recent successes – S/O Satyamurthy and Legend.

For the first time, Aadi Pinnisetty is playing a baddie in the movie. Anjali will be seen in an item song. Rakul Preet Singh is romancing Allu Arjun for the first time in her career. Bunny’s father, Allu Aravind is producing the film on his Geeta Arts banner. SS Thaman is the music composer.

Anushka and Aarya Starrer film may be a Size Zero but the movie is growing to a Mega Size. It is emerging that the film had little cameos of nine stars – Nagarjuna, Rana, Tamannah, Hansika, Kajal Agarwal, Manchu Lakshmi, Jeeva, Sri Divya and Revathi.

All of them reportedly starred in the film with out charging a single penny. They reportedly loved the story and team’s hard work and came forward to take part in the film. The promotions are on full swing as the movie release is drawing closer (November 27th).

Size Zero is a romantic comedy. The film also has Sonal Chauahan in its ranks. It has a stellar cast line up with heavyweights like Prakash Raj,Urvashi, Ali, Posani, Master Bharat. Ananganaga O dheerudu fame Prakash Kovelamudi is wielding megaphone for this film.

Mahesh Babu and Prabhas are weighing in behind actor Sudheer Babu for the latter’s upcoming film Bhale Manchi Roju. Superstar Mahesh Babu, who is the actor’s brother-in-law, is attending the audio launch of the film on November 25 as the chief guest.

Meanwhile, even Prabhas will be promoting the film as producer Vijay Kumar Reddy is his friend. It is not yet known whether Prabhas will also attend the music release.

Pawan Kalyan’s ex-wife and actress Renu Desai had a narrow escape from the Paris terrorist attacks. She had just landed in Mumbai from Paris when she got the news of the terrorist attack.

The former Telugu actress had gone to Paris on November 4. I just landed in Mumbai. Heard about the Paris attack right now! I am safe. A children’s film titled Aditya will be screened on Saturday, the opening day of the 19th Children’s Film Festival in Hyderabad. The Sudhakar Goud-directed film is about a junior scientist. “The film has got tax exemption from both the Telangana state and Andhra Pradesh governments,” says Sudhakar, adding that it was selected from 1,300 films sent to the festival.

He says that the film is not part of the competition category (Gold Elephant). “It is about a boy called Aditya who gets a national award for his inventions and some corporate and mafia gangs try to stop him,” says Sudhakar. The film had released recently in both Telugu states. “It is about a junior scientist, but adult stars like Ashish Vidyarthi, Brahmanandam, M.S. Narayana and others are there in the film,” says Sudhakar.

The film also touches upon the importance of protecting animals, mainly at railway crossings and also deals with suicide. “Suicide is not the answer to depression. I have shown in the film that people like Abdul Kalam and Ambedkar came from poor families and became internationally acclaimed,” says Sudhakar.
