Naidu Dare Not Leave The NDA

There has been some speculation of late that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu might consider becoming a part of the ‘Third Front’.Emboldened by the Bihar victory, Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar are now keen on reviving the ‘Third Front’ against the BJP in particular. There is absolutely no way that Chandrababu is going to ditch the NDA. Rather, there is no way he can ditch the NDA.

If he were to do that then he might find himself slapped with hundreds of legal cases and charges regarding his dream project ‘Amaravathi’. Only an absolutely honest person can do what he feels to be the right thing.

Going by the general perception that Naidu and his coterie are resorting to massive and unprecedented corruption in the name of Amaravathi, the natural assumption is that Naidu cannot afford to irk the Center until his work in Amaravathi is over. Not to mention winding up the ‘cash-for-vote’ and other cases pending against him.

Size Zero – Mega Size Promotions

PVP Cinema’s title of the film may be Size Zero but promotions of the film are of the biggest size. Anushka Shetty has been inundated with compliments for her bold decision to put on 20 kgs to suit the part in Size Zero. Her commitment plus the quirky and feel good content has fuelled super excitement amongst the trade and general public.

Producers PVP Cinema, for the first time in Indian Film History, have come up with a novel idea–multiple trains have been roped in for movie branding. This innovative grand size promotion has caught the people’s imagination big time making it talk of the town.

Trains from the South Central Railway which cover the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu were handpicked to promote Size Zero in a novel way. Entire stretch of the trains have been branded with Size Zero designs and also the interiors of the trains sported the Size Zero branding. This has grabbed the attention of not only the passengers but also the onlookers.

Size Zero film is a romantic comedy starring South Indian box office Queen Anushka Shetty and handsome hunk Arya. K S Prakash Rao, son of legendary Director K Raghavendra Rao, directs the film. The lead pair coupled with sweet promos and concept designs released so far have made the movie going public wait with a heightened sense of anticipation for the film.

Good content needs good publicity to attract the best possible audience for best returns and PVP Cinema knows this too well. As part of this, the production house has tied up with a very creative agency for this Train Publicity. It was this combination which in the past experimented and tested this idea for the Blockbuster movie, Balupu. It’s a December 4th release and Kona Venkat’s latest production venture “Shankarabaranam” got its Censor formalities completed already. These are the days where films are getting Censor Certificate just 3-4 days before the release, and what’s the hurry for Kona and Nikhil’s movie to obtain one now?

As the film is issued U/A certificate today afternoon, the doubt that is lingering in everyone’s minds is this. Earlier Kona Venkat (producer and writer of the film) stated that they are postponing their crime comedy to help “Akhil” have a long run at box office.

However, as “Akhil” garnered mixed talk through out, many felt he would have changed his mind. But “Shankarabaranam” team confirmed that they are sticking to release date of December 4th and there is no chance of changing date, advancing or postponing, this time.

Censored U/A, Shankarabaranam has a run time of 2 hours 26 minutes, and the film’s team is confident that their comedy and crime will become instant hit with Telugu audiences. Featuring Nikhil, Nandita, Anjali and others in the lead, the film’s recent released audio evoked good response.

Talasani Gets High Court Shocker!

In a big shock to Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivasa Yadav, the Hyderabad High Court on Thursday issued a notice to him for holding a minister’s post in the Telangana State government after defecting from the Telugu Desam Party to the ruling party.Admitting a writ petition filed by one Thangella Sivaprasad Reddy seeking disqualification of Srinivas Yadav as minister, the High Court asked the latter to give an explanation in four weeks. The court also asked the minister to file a counter affidavit and posted the case for four weeks.

The issue of his becoming minister has become a controversy as the Telangana Telugu Desam leaders Errabelli Dayakar Rao, L Ramana and A Revanth Reddy complained to Governor ESL Narasimhan to initiate action against Srinivas Yadav. However, the Governor has no say in this regard as the Assembly Speaker S Mahusudhana Chary is the authority concerned to either accept or reject Talasani’s resignation. If the Speaker accepts his resignation it will lead to a by-election in Sanathnagar constituency from where Srinivas Yadav was elected as MLA on Telugu Desam behalf.

When the TDP leaders approached the High Court, the judges felt that the ball was in the court of the Speaker. This time around, the court responded and asked the minister to explain as to how he, who is a TD legislator, can continue as minister, it is learnt. The minister has repeatedly been insisting that he tendered his resignation to MLA post and the Speaker has to take a decision. He also expressed readiness to contest and win the bypoll as and when the situation arises.

Pawan Kalyan met with AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu naidu today and for the first time visited the Capital area of Amaravathi. Talking to the media about his discussion with chandrababu Naidu for about two hours Pawan Kalyan said I came here to thank Chandra Babu Naidu personally for Kind heartedly concenting to my wish to not take land forcefully. He further said “I mainly discussed three topics with the Chief Minister, 1. Bauxite mining, 2. Accordance of special status to Andhra Pradesh, 3. Centring the whole development of the sate around the capital city” he said.

Pawan also stated that he was visiting Amaravati now as he could not make it for the Inauguration ceremony. Pawan Congratulated Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu for organizing such a huge event. Pawan also assured the people of AP that Chandra Babu Naidu too like him was not up for grabbing the lands of poor and consented with his idea of taking lands only from the willing families.

Pawan said that he also requested the Chief minister not to evacuate the tribal residents near the Bauxite mining region but get their cooperation to do it. Pawan was all positive about his meeting with the Chief Minister and stated that Chandra Babu Naidu heeded and accepted to all his requests. He also stated that he discussed about irrigation projects and decentralizing development so all the regions of AP are developed.

Talking about GHMC elections Pawan Kalyan said his party Janasena rite now isn’t financially all too strong to contest for the election but said they would in the 2019 elections. Moving on to Bihar elections he laughed the question off and diplomatically stated he cannot comment on it at the moment and said the repetition of same scenario in AP would be totally be dependent on BJP keeping its promise of special status or for that case any sort of help to the state as promised in the parliament during the bifurcation

Talking on getting down to protest against the Center Pawan Kalyan said that the problem here is the necessity for it and also that one should understand that any kind of protest would only do bad to him or the people of state but would have no impact on the center. He also said he would react very differently if the center fails to keep it’s promise and said so far the center is still in the process of doing (Helping) something for the sate so it isn’t wise of anybody to react before the centre comes clear on its plans about what to do for the state.

Seeming Threat to H-1B visa holders!

Senators Chuck Grassley and Dick Durbin introduced a bill in American Parliament to have strict policies laid down for employing H-1B, L1 visa holders. They termed employing other nationals for low wages affecting the employability of equally potential Americans as “Abuse of system”. They stressed that reform of the H-1B is at most priority.

All this would yield in downsizing the jobs of Indians as well as other nation’s employees working in US but also help them in improving their pays. The main issue the senators raised was that while H-1B and L1 visa was introduced to fill up those posts the Americans were not qualified enough to fill in or in those areas where a better technological services were required but not as a replacement to the qualified American, Displacing him from his employability.

Sanctioning of this bill would mean that the Department of Labour would review, investigate and audit employer compliance as well as to penalize fraudulent or abusive conduct and prohibit H-1B or L-1 visa holders taking place of equally eligible American. This bill will also prioritize the annual allocation of H-1B visas.

The BJP government has taken one and all by surprise when it recommended prosecuting BJP leader Subramanian Swamy for promoting religious intolerance between Hindus and Muslims in a book he has written.In a strong-worded affidavit, the Home Ministry claimed that the book ‘Terrorism in India’ which was published in 2006 violated the rules of hate speech.

“The book promotes feelings of hatred and enmity between Hindus and Muslim, hence it should be taken into account. Therefore, the petitioner has violated sections of the Indian Penal Code”, the Ministry of Home Affairs said. While a non-bailable warrant was issued against Swamy, the Supreme Court gave a ‘stay order’ on it. While Subramaniam Swamy is part of the BJP, on occasions, he has also questioned the party over the non-fulfillment of promises such as bringing back black money, etc.

Known to speak his mind, Swamy spares neither friend nor foe and is somewhat of a ‘loose cannon’. Still, it is highly surprising that the BJP chose to prosecute such a stalwart of Hindutva. In order to make up for the allegations of intolerance, the BJP seems to have initiated this move and made Swamy the ‘fall guy’. What lends credence to this argument is the fact that when the book ‘Terrorism in India’ was released in 2006, it was the UPA government at the Center and they had absolutely no problem with it.
