However, Kalyan Ram got major setback with his production venture ‘Kick 2’ starred by Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja. On the other hand, his latest offing as a hero, ‘Sher’ bombed at the box office miserably.

At this juncture, Kalyan Ram needs to strike back as a hero. Who else to be the producer, who supports the star in bouncing back? It’s none other than star producer Dil Raju to make a crazy project with the star. If the inside buzz is to be believed, talks between Dil Raju and Kalyan Ram are going on. ‘Akhil’ premier/benefit shows are screened in many areas of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Overseas markets. Good news is there are positive reports flowing in. Though main fantasy content in the film is said to unleash only in second half with whole of first half used for commercial entertainment in the form of hero-heroine romantic track and comedy thereof with Sapthagiri, Vennela Kishore; second half and especially climax are reported to have come out extremely well.

An unseen competition like feel overtook Tollywood the other day, when both Balayya and Jr NTR have come up with their press releases in a short gap, confirming that their films are indeed targeting Sankranthi 2016 only.

Jr NTR’s Nannaku Prematho will arrive on January 8th, and Balayya’s Dictator might release on January 14th. Is that really a kind of war between these two Nandamuri heroes? While cinema critics are finding this like a tournament where the winner will eat away revenues of others, fans have something else to share.

Earlier there used to be competition between films of Chiru, Balayya, Nag and Venky. These critics felt nothing because, they all enjoyed the competition and patronised the best. Now that two heroes from same family are coming, they are portraying it like a war.

As many heroes are mushrooming from same family, it’s Nandamuri family who are first clashing and tomorrow Mega and Akkineni heroes will also clash with films from their own family. But the speed at which these three are doing films is not so exciting when compared to iconic Chiranjeevi. They may say that in these modern days, it’s not possible to act in 3-4 films in a year. However, the younger brigade of mega heroes might prove these senior wrong.

In 2 years of their entry, both Varun Tej and Sai Dharam Tej have seen 3 films of them making news. And these heroes a couple of projects lined up too. Maybe if they continue this speed, soon they will be overtaking Ram Charan and Bunny first, and then Pawan Kalyan later.

This is the big day not just being Diwali celebrated by the people, but also for Akkineni fans who have been eagerly waiting for the grand release of Akkinenis’ scion Akhil’s ‘Akhil’ film for a long time. The movie is releasing in record number of screens world wide.

Here is one more interesting news that makes Akhil fans to be cheered a big time. As per reports Akhil was paid a remuneration of Rs.7 crores for the project which is an all time record for any debut hero till date. This also marks Akhil’s craze at his very debut film.

A special benefit show of ‘Akhil’ is being screened today at Mallikarjuna theater of Kukatpally in Hyderabad at 4:30 am. The movie gets released in the US in 168 locations. Sayesha Saigal has played love interest of Akhil in this film. VV Vinayak has directed the movie on Shresht Movies owned by hero Nithin.
