The film was a huge success in Tamil but was secretly panned by critics for its excessive double meaning dialogues and sleaze.

What’s even more startling is that the Telugu makers are promoting the film as the ‘worst ever love story in the history of Tollywood’. With the taglines like ‘Love is injurious to health’ and ‘Get ready virgins’, the makers seem to be sure about whom they are targeting.

Universal Hero Kamal Hassan’s Cheekati Rajyam will have its audio launch event tomorrow in Hyderabad. Kamal Hassan and the entire movie unit will be flying to Hyderabad for the event which will begin the promotions of the movie ahead of the movie release on 12th of this month.

The movie is releasing on a Wednesday and the Premieres in Overseas will be screened on Tuesday which is a working day. Normally Overseas audience will be extremely busy with their jobs on working days and will not come to the theaters.

This working day release may hurt the movie in Overseas now. Also the weekend is far away. If the talk and reviews are bad or if the piracy is out, the movie may not do well even in the weekend. Hence this date is not so good for the Overseas business.
