Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej had okayed a cameo role in Naga Chaitanya’s next, Majnu. He will be seen as Naga Chaitanya’s cousin in the film and it is a crucial role in the movie context.

The movie is the official remake of Malayalam blockbuster, Premam and will be directed by Karthikeya fame Chandoo Mondenti. The film will have its launch on 30th November and the film will start rolling immediately a day after its launch.

Shruti Hassan, Rakul Preet Singh and Anupama Parameshwaran are the heroines as per the rumour mills. Buzz is that Nagarjuna will be seen in a little cameo while Victory Venkatesh will play the hero’s father in the movie. More details of this project later.

Akhil Akkineni’s debut movie, Akhil fever is already gripping the Telugu States. The advance bookings began and the response is overwhelming. However doubts still linger in a section of fans who are worried about the movie release.

Akhil is releasing on Amavasya day which is usually considered as unauspicious for Telugu people. Further this is the debut of Akhil which is worrying those fans. However makers say its okay since it is Diwali that day.

Here is a major shocker to SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’. The movie, which has been rejected for Oscar entry a couple of days ago, has now been rejected to be screened in Indian Panorama section at 46th International Film Festival of India.

A total of 5 entries from Tollywood were sent for IFFI screening but no movie has been picked by the jury. On the other hand, a total of 26 films have been selected by the committee to be screened at film festival. Most of the movies were chosen from Bengali, Hindi and Malayalam languages. Rejection of ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Srimanthudu’ left a big shocker to Tollywoof film fraternity.

It is being said that the movies selected for IFFI screening have fulfilled the prescribed norms. Praveen Saththaru, one of the jury members has made it clear that ‘Baahubali’ has not meet the norms prescribed by the committee.
