‘Baahubali’ is what Prabhas got popular for, across the nation. His name is just doing rounds everywhere for the kind of intensity this magnum opus has created. And now, there are people out there cashing on the craze of this actor.
Well, the habit is that if a dubbed film of a neighbourhood hero clicks, then his past films will also get dubbed into that language. Likewise Mallu fans have released Bunny and Prabhas films after super success of their initial film, Tamil producers are also following the route.
Keeping Baahubali success in view, Lawrence master’s creation “Rebel” is now getting dubbed into Tamil as “Veerabali”. Provided with the fact that the film is a super flop in Telugu, with producer lodging some cases on director for overshot budget and delay in release, we wonder why is it getting dubbed into Tamil now.
Just for the sake of title ‘Veerabali’ and Prabhas face on the posters, no doubt audiences will flock theatres on first day. Hope they like the film too.
Revanth Feels Humiliated In Party
Firebrand Telugu Desam Party MLA from Kodangal A Revanth Reddy appears to be feeling humiliated with the party, as his colleagues in the Telangana TDP are refusing to acknowledge his leadership as working president.Revanth met party president N Chandrababu Naidu at Vijayawada ahead of the TTDP meeting and complained that senior colleagues like Errabelli Dayakar Rao and L Ramana were not accepting him as working president.
“They are ill-treating me and abusing me for attacking the ruling TRS exposing several irregularities,” he complained.
It may be mentioned that Revanth Reddy and TDP Legislature Party leader Errabelli Dayaker Rao had a verbal duel at a recent party meeting. Naidu pulled up Revanth and Errabelli separately for running down each other and going to media.
“This has sent a bad signal to the cadre, at a time when we are trying to strengthen the party in Telangana,” he said. He asked them to see that such incidents do not recur.
Bruce Lee: Second Biggest Loss To Charan
Finally, “Bruce Lee” has touched that hyped figure of 40 crores, which Ram Charan makes all the time with his average-talk garners. The Mega Powerstar got it repeated again, now for “Bruce Lee”. While the mega hero reached his standard figure, his distributors are still paddling through rough waters.
Dasara release “Bruce Lee”, directed by Sreenu Vaitla, has made nearly 38+ crores ‘share’ with Telugu version and 2+ crores with Tamil and Malayalam version by now at box office. That makes the film cross 40 crore mark in no time, while the pace and volume of these collections are no match to the budgets involved.
Due to the negative talk that evolved on first day, this Ram Charan starrer failed to get record breaking openings. Thanks to holiday season, which helped the film amass 40 crore share. Movies like Racha, Nayak and Govindudu Andarivadele which captured below-average to average talk have ended up making near or less 40 crore mark ‘share’ in full and final run.
That 40 became Charan’s standard figure, no matter what the film’s talk is. While that 40-mark might have left with simple bruises earlier, say 1-4 crores loss, this time the loss is estimated to be around 16 crores. The film has to race past nearly 56 crores to evolve as a safe project for distributors, even though if they forget about profits. In that case, we have to say that Bruce Lee is going to be second biggest straight telugu disaster for Ram Charan after “Orange”.
Either Charan should change the way he will pick films and directors, or his directors should come up with innovative stories to use his stardom and potential to make huge chunks at box office. Else, it will be Oranges and Bruce Lees. Dot.
Chiranjeevi Walked Out Of Bruce Lee Screening
If the buzz from the film circles is to be believed, Megastar Chiranjeevi has predicted that Bruce Lee would end up as a flop.The movie was screened to Chiranjeevi after the final edit and Megastar didn’t like it at all. It was five days away from the release date at that time and there is nothing that Megastar could do to better it.
Chiranjeevi has simply walked out of the screening even before the film is complete. Usually Chiranjeevi suggests changes to Charan’s films after the final edit. His suggestions worked for movies like Racha and Nayak which were commercial hits. There is little that Chiranjeevi could do to Bruce Lee as the release date was very close by the time he saw the final cut.
Unit members are blaming Sreenu Vaitla for being stubborn and paying deaf ear to the suggestions of writers and other crew. He was the one who roped in Chiranjeevi for that unimportant and wasted cameo. He was the one who wanted the Bruce Lee title over other titles.
Charan and the producer respected Sreenu Vaitla’s experience and track record and did whatever he asked for. Now Sreenu has no one but to blame himself for this debacle. He will be the biggest loser with this as nobody is ready to gamble on him after Aagadu and Bruce Lee.
Jagan Party To Contest Warangal Polls!
The YSR Congress Party is almost insignificant in the Telangana region but still it wants to contest the upcoming Warangal Lok Sabha bypoll.The Telangana unit of the YSRC which met at Lotus Pond on Tuesday decided to contest the byelections.
Telangana YSRCP president P Srinivas Reddy told media persons that the party got tremendous response from the people to Jagan’s sister Sharmila during the recent ‘Paramarsa Yatra’ and it proved beyond doubt that the people still honour the ideals of the late YSR and the welfare schemes launched by him.
Also, the people of Warangal district are the maximum beneficiaries of these schemes launched during the YSR regime. He said the ruling TRS had totally failed to fulfill its election promises resulting in a large number of suicides by farmers.
The people would outright reject the TRS in the byelections, he said, adding that they knew that it was YSR who had built houses for the poor due to which he is remembered even for today.The Congress, he felt will be rejected totally by the voters for its narrow-minded politics, particularly for foisting false cases against their party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The TDP-BJP combine, he said will be nowhere in the reckoning.
However, it is learnt the YSRC is contesting elections only to split anti-establishment votes, so that it would ultimately benefit the TRS.
Start-ups need to develop genuine, sustainable ideas: Experts
Start-ups have become a glamour quotient in the country but entrepreneurs need to develop ideas that are genuine and sustainable rather than just aping something which is already available, experts today said.
“Start-ups have now become a glamour quotient in India which was not the scene even a few years back. Being an entrepreneur is somewhat glamorous, but there is a need for honest and genuine ideas rather than doing something that is already there,” said author Anuradha Goyal.
She added, “I met a BITS Pilani student who is planning to work on something which Google has done five years back. Why will people leave Google and come to you? These things need to be understood. There is a need of sustainable ideas which can thrive over period of time.”
Goyal, who has penned ‘The Mouse Charmers’, was speaking at the Startup Capitals India Conference Series here. “There is also a need for proper guidance to the budding entrepreneurs. People who have successfully established start-ups should come forward and guide them for a prosperous start-up eco-system,” she said.
Echoing Goyal’s views Osama Manzar of Digital Empowerment Foundations said: “The focus is currently shifting from solving problems to making million dollars. This is bad, actually good entrepreneurship is about identifying problems and solving them.”
“The huge start-up surge that we are witnessing is just a drop of water. We need to develop it. We need to guide them rather than mentor them so that they can tap the ocean of opportunity in the country. We are working towards it,” Nasscomm Vice President Rajat Tandon said here.
He added, “we hope that the government is also taking right steps in this direction and expect something by the end of this year.
“Shoving away concerns over high valuation of start-ups, journalist-turned-author Zafar Anjum said, “I do not see any bubble burst kind of thing but obviously corrections and adjustments are happening according to market needs and demands. I feel this will continue to happen.”
Lutyens Start-ups CEO Ajay Batra said, “the problem is also that we think start-ups can only be digital. There is lot more than that with India being such a huge country.”
The young entrepreneurs over and above everything else need to channelise their aggression in the right way for a successful business model, he said. (PTI)

Today this senior director has released a statement wishing three Dasara releases as they scored big hits. “Three small films, Kanche, Raju Gari Gadhi and Columbus, which have released for this Dasari festival have become super hit. Hereby I congratulate the technical crew and actors of those films”, said Dasari, through his statement. Generally he holds press meets to appreciate films, and now this seems like a teaser before one such interaction.
But this statement looks like a revenge on Ram Charan’s Bruce Lee, which hasn’t postponed despite his comments. There are two mistakes in the statement, which go like this. Kanche is not a small movie for its casting and 20 crore budget, while Columbus is not a hit as claimed by our veteran filmmaker. We have to see what more Dasari will say in the days to come.

Love of fans is something anyone couldn’t expect. Jr NTR fans are currently being discussed widely for the love they are showing on their hero. While all this love may not help to turn an average grosser into a blockbuster, surely it would help spread positive word of mouth all the time.
“Nannaku Prematho” teaser that got released on Dasara eve is now proving its mettle on popular video sharing website YouTube. What’s more stunning is that, this teaser that got 19+ lakh views has got nearly 37+ thousand likes. This is stunning because the official trailer of most hyped “Baahubali” has got only 35+ thousand likes though it has 60+ lakh views. That’s what Jr NTR fans are saying now to claim that their heartthrob is bigger than Baahubali.
At any given time, a movie is bigger than any of its actors or directors. Hope all this love of fans will turn into box office collections for “Naannaku Prematho” and makes Telugu industry flourish for a long time. Meanwhile, Jr NTR is filming for this Sukumar’s creation in Hyderabad before they fly to Spain in November 1st week.
