It’s the success which defines the very existence and non-existence of an artist or technician in film industry. Brahmi enjoyed a very long innings in industry as a ruling comedian. However, the recent disasters from him like ‘Bruce Lee, Sher’ have left him in deep chaos.

Apparently, both critics and common audience are expressing their discomfort watching Brahmi in stereotyped roles which are less entertaining more boring. At the same time, entry of young comedians is proving a bonus for producers and directors who are opining Rs.5 Lakhs per day call sheet on Brahmi can be a mere waste. ‘When we are getting two to three comedians at a time to fill the screen with artists, why to prefer Brahmanandam,’ questions a producer.

Anyways, Brahmanandam is losing the sheen. The utmost duty he can perform to bring back those good times for his career is to cut-down the remuneration. Of course, a solid hit for Brahmi can also change the way things are ruining his. Let us see, which will happen first?

As per unofficial reports in film circles, Maruthi is soon going to produce a new movie titled as ‘Rojulu Marayi’ in debutant Murali Krishna direction with Kruthika Jaya Kumar heroine and central lead. Kruthika earlier was seen as Venkatesh daughter in ‘Drishyam’ and as heroine in ‘Vinavayya Ramayya.’

Away from his regular adult contented stories, Maruthi garnered a fresh new family image with ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy.’ Now, he is remaining so selective both on production and direction fronts. While a movie with Venkatesh is in direction list, ‘Rojulu Marayi’ is in his production chart. Well, the title appears to be apt even in Maruthi’s transformation.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan never appeared to be a gadget freak or selfie lover. He always use his Twitter account too only for sharing something political related and is yet to post anything about even his films there. However a selfie taken by the Powerstar is out on internet.

Pawan Kalyan, Ali, Brahmaji and Gabbar Singh Srinu are in the selfie and the picture was released on to the social media by Brahmaji calling it as Gabbar Singh gang. The team is currently shooting a short schedule in Hyderabad and will fly to Gujarat for a major schedule towards the end of this month.

The team had finalized some very fine locales for the shooting there.The makers say the shooting will now go non-stop till completion as they plan Summer 2016 release for the film.

In the same stream, Kamal Hasan announced one of his new projects to be based on pure mythology with Ravana from Ramayana as central character. At a time when many directors and producers are opting to make films on Ramayana and Maha Bharatha, here comes Universal Star with the same idea. None other than Kamal himself will play the role of Ravana and title for this flick is tentatively finalized as ‘Lankeshwar.’

Undoubtedly, ‘Lankeshwar’ would be a multi lingual project to be undertaken on big budget. More details on cast, crew and other production details will be officially announced in next year as and when Kamal is ready with the script.

With Baahubali, he might have got more than that figure, some say twice that of 15 crore mark. Coming to VV Vinayak, reports have that he pocketed nearly 15 crores for “Alludu Seenu” and is repeating the same for “Akhil”.

As his films generally don’t fail at box office, for their commercial masala content, producers are not worried to pay him such a huge figure. Same is the case with Koratala Siva, who is just two films old. As his Mirchi and Srimanthudu are box office hits, he is said to clocking that mighty figure for Nannaku Prematho. Industry observers say, for super-star directors, 15 crore is the cut-off mark for remuneration.

With big heroes and directors charging nearly 15 crores, just the remuneration budgets itself are touching 35 crores per film. Guess why each film is requiring nearly 50-60 crores budget to get carved.

Akhil Akkineni’s debut movie, Akhil is all set for a wide release in Telugu States thanks to the absence of no notable release round the corner. However all is not well for the movie in Overseas. Akhil is already releasing there with Tuesday Premieres which will hit the movie openings there very badly.

On the other side, there is a theaters scarcity for the movie in Overseas. Three major films from India – Thoongavanam, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Vedalam releasing in the same week and occupying good number of theaters.

All those three films are confirmed for Diwali much in advance and so their distributors have booked theaters well in advance. Akhil which was confirmed in the last minute, is now struggling to have a good release there. We will have to see how it pans out for the debutante finally.

Against the diverse gossips floated earlier on about King Nagarjuna expressed his displeasure against few of the lower order VFX quality works prepared for Akkineni Akhil debut film ‘Akhil,’ here comes fresh reports that Nithin has tightened all the loose ends and showed outright first rate quality product to Nagarjuna yesterday.

This means, ‘Akhil’ is done with all the post production works including the VFX. By all probability, Censor copy would be screened before regional committee in next two to three days, if everything goes as per the plan. VV Vinayak is heard to have directed the film on lavish budget with superb technical values. However, Akhil is going to be the special attraction with fresh energy oozing.

Akkineni Nagarjuna’s extreme happiness watching final ‘Akhil’ copy would have boosted the morals of Akhil, Nithin and entire team for sure. Now, there are only few more days left for aggressive promotions to kick-off. Hope, they are on the target to multiply the existing hype. Obviously, this is the most excitement generating project for Diwali and a celebration is worth to begin.

This poor show by Brahmanandam has resulted in a gross cut in his hefty paycheck. The star comedian who charges not less Rs 4-5 lakhs per cal sheet depending on the budget and magnitude of the film, now has to settle down for a lesser price, say the reports. Brahmi otherwise is known to be a tough taskmaster when it comes to his remuneration and other freebies on the sets.

However, the reason behind Brahmi’s flop show should not be credited only to the comedy legend. It is the also the writers and directors who must come up with solid scenes blended with the right humor elements for Brahmi and the legend will successfully play it to the galleries.

On the other hand, thanks to Brahmi’s failures, filmmakers and even audiences are encouraging aspiring talents like Vennela Kishore, Fish Venkat, Dhanraj, Sreenivas Reddy, Thagubothu Ramesh, Sapthagiri, Pudhvi and many others.

Nagarjuna has always been known to be a gentleman when it comes to elite social interactions. He is equally courteous even to the media and his fans. It’s very rarely do we see Nag in angry mode in public gatherings. One such rare incident happened recently.

In a latest media interaction, Nag was bombarded with a lot of questions by the media personnel and the handsome actor was patiently responding to all their queries with a smile. However, one enthusiastic journalist posed an embarrassing question to Nag out of the blue.

The scribe quoted Shah Rukh Khan’s statement regarding the ongoing debate on the rising intolerance in the country and was about to seek Nag’s views. But, even before the journo could finish his question, a visibly upset Nag pushed the mikes away and left the spot immediately to avoid further controversies.
