Actor Sharwanand had completed the shooting of his next, Express Raja. Venkatadri Express fame Merlapaka Gandhi has directed the film which now enters extensive post production phase. The makers are yet to reveal their release plans. Beeruva fame actress Surabi plays his love interest in the film.

UV Creations which is one of the most happening production houses in Tollywood, is producing this movie. Sharwa will now start his new project ‘Juliet – Love of Idiot’ directed by a new comer, Bhaskar.

Besides these projects, Sharwa has one more film “Yemito Ee Maya” directed by Cheran. The movie shooting is completed a long ago but it struggling for release due to financial issues. The actor had pinned high hopes on all these films.

Popular Choreographer Prem Rakshit is all set to start a new innings. He is turning in to a director and his debut movie will be with Rana Daggubati. He is reportedly ready with bound script. The project will be launched for Dussehra and the regular shooting will follow.

Rana wants to complete the shoot non-stop and then switch to Baahubali-2. The shooting of Baahubali-2 will begin in December and Rana’s part will come only after January. So he will finish this before Baahubali-2.

Kajal Agarwal joined the team of Brahmotsavam on Sunday in Ramoji film city. Few crucial scenes in the movie are being canned there. This is the second schedule of the film and they have shot a song in the first one. The makers are planning to chart non stop schedules till the shooting is complete.

The movie will be releasing on March 25th, 2016 as Summer special. The film will be most likely the first star release in Summer. Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha are playing the female leads in this film.

Gunasekhar’s historical venture, Rudhramadevi had completed its first weekend run at the box office. The movie despite the negative reviews and talk, had amassed about 20 Crore Share in this three days run. The movie had a wonderful Sunday where the figures are better than that of the Saturday.

The movie is running equally well in overseas too. It is interesting to see how the movie sustains in the working days starting today. If it sustains, then there will be an acute shortage of theaters for upcoming releases like Bruce Lee and Akhil.

Despite efforts by filmmakers against piracy and a John Doe order (a critical analysis on the perspective of copyright infringement of film productions) from the high court refraining websites from hosting a pirated version, Gunasekhar’s dream project Rudhramadevi movie was pirated.

The Cyberabad police arrested three men on Monday morning in connection with the piracy issue of Rudhramadevi. The police have seized a laptop and pirated CDs from them. These three notorious camcorders have recorded full Rudhramadevi released on Friday.

Although anti piracy cell, police and government have tightened up the things, they couldn’t fully stop films being pirated. Video piracy becomes one of the toughest challenges for film makers in India. There are lots of movies affected due to piracy and producers lose crores of money due to piracy in India.

Pirated copies of movies are sold for cheaper rate across the country. As Rudhramadevi is one of the big budget movies in Tollywood, producers should take strict measures to stop piracy. Apart from directing, Gunasekhar has also produced the movie.

In his first ever promotional interview for Bruce Lee, Ram Charan spoke at length about various topics like his future films, production houses, his dad’s comeback film and also his film with babai Pawan Kalyan.

Speaking about the one week gap between the release dates of Rudhramadevi, his film Bruce Lee and Akhil’s debut film Akhil, Charan said that he is not competing with any film and that Bruce Lee’s unit has been announcing that the film will be released in October 2nd week since the muhurtham date.

Charan said that due to the Dasara festive season every producer wants to cash in on the craze and that from now onwards, all the film producers must follow a minimum of 2 weeks gap before the releases.

Charan then explained an interesting chain reaction of Baahubali producers ‘without any ego’ requesting Srimanthudu makers to postpone their film, and the Srimanthudu unit in turn requesting the Kick 2 unit to delay their release to enjoy a fair box-office advantage. Charan also said that the industry runs in such ‘hidden agreement’ during the release days.

Tall hunk Rana Daggubati is riding high with Baahubali hit. His recent outing Rudhramadevi co-starring Anushka and Allu Arjun has also opened to record collections. Rana took some time as he worked years on both Baahubali and Rudhramadevi.

Now, the ‘Leader’ star is in mood to shoot. The production work of Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 is expected to commence in November. But, Rana will join the team only after 3 months of the shoot begins, since his part of work starts then. Meanwhile, Rana is working for Bangalore Days remake which is in last leg of shooting.

Utilizing the free time rightly, Rana has signed a new film under his dad Suresh Babu’s productions house. This yet to be titled film marks directorial debut for ace choreographer Prem Rakshit. Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu is director’s actor. Proving it yet again, the Srimanthudu star has given his nod to shoot in the locales of Kashmir for his next movie Brahmotsavam. Presently, the film’s shoot is going on at blitzkrieg speed in Hyderabad where a montage song and few vital scenes were shot.

The present schedule is expected to be wrapped up within a week after which the unit will leave to Ooty in the first week of November. The latest buzz is that soon after completion of Ooty schedule, Mahesh and team would shoot in Kashmir which is known as Switzerland of Asia.

Recently, director Srikanth Addala along with his team has done a recce in the exotic locales of Kashmir and impressed with the few locations. In December, the makers are planning to go to abroad for shooting the remaining portions of Brahmotsavam.
