After the successful ‘VIP’, a sequel featuring Dhanush, Amy Jackson, and Samantha is soon to hit the screens. While the movie was being referred to as ‘VIP 2′ as tentative title until now, its official title has been made public and is ‘Thangamagan’. However, ‘Thangamagan’ is also the name of a Rajinikanth starrer 1983 film, also featuring Poornima Bhagyaraj.

Apparently, ‘Thangamagan’ is not the only film name the superstar and his son-in-law have in common. Movie titles like ‘Padikkadhavan’, ‘Polladhavan’, and ‘Mappillai’ are also old Rajinikanth movies that are now the names of Dhanush’s films.

Directed by Velraj, who was also the director of ‘VIP’, Dhanush’s ‘Thangamagan’ recently released its first look and created a lot of buzz. The intense character of Dhanush in the movie has been brilliantly captured in its poster and in another featuring lead actress Sam and Amy, the film’s romantic theme is visible.

Andhra Pradesh government is planning to make Amaravati a hub of green buildings. The government after starting the capital construction will amend the existing building norms. According to that, the government will make it compulsory to have solar roof tops to every building.

These solar roofs tops should be able to meet the power demands of the building and will also get to see excess power to the government. The state government will offer the solar roof tops at subsidized rates to make them affordable.

Tamil veteran and legendary actress of over 1000 films Manorama has passed away in Chennai. The actress has been unwell for some time now and was a regular to hospital. She has breathed her last on October 10. Exact reason for her demise is yet to be known.

Rumors of her ill health reached a peak earlier in the year when hoax death news spread all over. The actress then came out and spoke to the media and confirmed her well being. She even said that few films are up her sleeve back then. This was in February, earlier in 2015. The last big film that she was part off was Suriya starrer Singham 2.

After a long delay, Nandamuri Kalyanram’s action entertainer Sher finally had its audio launch this evening, with Young Tiger NTR releasing the audio. On the occasion of this star studded night, the film’s theatrical trailer has been released amidst huge fan frenzy.

One of the biggest mass heroes in Tollywood and now Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna expressed his concern over the impact of foreign culture on Telugu culture and said that Tollywood must make films about the heritage and culture of our mother tongue, Telugu.

Addressing a gathering of film and political luminaries at the audio launch of Sati Thimmamamba on Thursday, Balayya said that Telugu language has a vast history and that due to the influence of foreign culture, the identity of Telugu is induer threat and that it should be protected.

Revealing interesting historial information about Sati Thimmamamba, Balayya said that Thimmamamba belongs to the Sri Krishnadevaraya’s lineage and that the Thimmamamba Marri Manu tree in Anantapur is revered by devotees. Sati Thimmamamba is produced by P Subramanyam and directed by Anjaneyulu.

At last, Mega Power Star Ram Charan opened up about his production houses. Ram Charan revealed that he is setting up two production houses named Konidela Productions and White Horse Entertainments. Charan also revealed that he has plans to produce small and medium budget films.

Speaking further, Charan said that Konidela Productions will produce big budget films and that it will kickstart with his father and Megastar Chiranjeevi’s comeback film.

Talking about White Horse Entertainments, Charan said that he will produce small and medium budget films within 2-5 crore budget with aspiring filmmakers.

Talking about his upcoming film Bruce Lee, Charan said that he is planning to organize a special show for the students of the Devnar School for the Visually Challenged and also to some socialites. Apparently, all the money collected will be donated to Devnar School.
