A week back when people watched Vijay’s “Puli”, they have some complaints. Quite surprisingly, even “Rudhramadevi” flaunted similar mistakes in couple of scenes. In Puli, in the first ever song of the film, Vijay is almost wearing a pant and a shirt.

With the film’s story setup in some fantasy medieval backdrop, showcasing a hero in a pure shirt-pant where modern collars and figure hugging cut of the pant are clearly visible, is nothing but making mockery of audiences.

People would be accepting any historical deviations and cinematic liberties in Rudhramadevi too, but not these costume errors. The character Naga Bhairava played by Baba Sehgal is shown wearing a modern-day low cut vest (baniyan).

Period of Rudhrama dates back to 13th century and there is no fine manufacturing of such vests here in India, though we are spinning clothes. In what way Gunasekhar would justify that costume?

Our readers are aware that Trivikram is directing actor Nithin in a film titled A..Aa. The regular shooting of the movie will begin from October 16th in Hyderabad. Earlier the makers have announced that they are targeting Sankranthi-2016 release for the film, but now it is pushed for Valentines Day i.e., February 14th.

Nithin will be seen as Anand Vihari while Samantha will be Anasuya Ramalingam. While Samantha plays the main heroine, Malayalam Premam fame Anupama Parameshwaran is the second heroine. It marks the Telugu debut of Anupama.

Trivikram’s close friends, Harika and Haasini creations will produce this youthful entertainer. They have previously produced Trivikram’s Julayi and S/O Satyamurthy. Tamil Music Sensation, Anirudh Ravichander is the music director and this will be his first time in Telugu.

Here is a big news for Mega fans. This 16th October, they not only get to watch Ram Charan’s Bruce Lee but also there will be an announcement regarding Chiranjeevi’s 150th project. Ram Charan and his mother Surekha who will be turning producers with this film will make the announcement.

They are likely to unveil the logo of their Production house too. Strong Buzz is that Kathi remake is going to be the subject while Vinayak will be brought in to wield megaphone for this prestigious project.

Remember Vinayak earlier directed Chiranjeevi in Tagore which was also a remake of Tamil film, Ramana directed by AR Murugudoss. Kathi also comes from the stable of Murugudoss. This project is likely to go floors by this year end and is planned for Summer 2016 release.

Rudhrama Devi is doing too good in Nizam region due to the Telangana historical connect. The movie had amassed 3.5 Crore from Nizam on its release day thanks to the Tax exemption issued by the Telangana government.

However Rudhrama Devi’s juggernaut was cut down by Bandh call given by opposition parties in Telangana. Even though the bandh is only partial, it cancelled the noon shows of Rudhrama Devi at many places. Many of these were advance full causing revenue damage to the film.

The movie is likely to resume at all places from matinees. The makers are expecting the movie to have a very good weekend. The real test will begin from Monday as the working days begin.

Director Raj Kiran who shot to fame with Anjali starrer Geethanjali is coming up with his second film Tripura. The horror thriller starring Colors Swathi in lead role has been delayed for numerous times owing to huge demands from the makers. Producers have expected Tripura to make strong pre release business, since the film is coming from the director of sleeper hit Geethanjali.

Tripura was made with a budget of Rs 2.5 crores. When few distributors offered good sum for theatrical rights few months ago, the makers kept the rights on hold as they expected much bigger business. As per insiders, they had once asked around Rs 5 crores for the theatrical business.

These fancy demands from the makers have kept many distributors away from the film and this is causing continuous postponements. Furthermore, Tripura was screened for around 5 times for distributors, who are not keen to invest more than 2 to 2.5 crore on the project.

In the film, Swathi has Extra Sensory Percetion (ESP). She can forecast the future. Andala Rakshasi fame Naveen Chandra will be seen as male lead. Apparently, Tripura may not see lights in near future due to heavy rush at box office for few months. Some star-studded high budget entertainers are lined up to release in 3 to 4 months time, for every single big occasion.

This morning, Naga Shaurya donated Rs. 50,000 to the family of soldier B Satyam, who was recently killed in an encounter with terrorists in Kashmir.

Naga Shaurya came down all the way to Bobbili in Vizianagaram district and met Satyam’s wife and children and handed over Rs. 50,000 and also assured further assistance. Speaking on the occasion, Shaurya said that he is doing charity with his father Sankara Prasad’s inspiration.

Naga Shaurya has been the talk of the town when reports broke about the Mega heroine Niharika Konidela signed her debut Tollywood film opposite him. Shaurya has a couple of films on floors, Kalyana Vaibhogame with Nandini Reddy and Ammayitho Abbayi in Ramesh Varma direction.

After facing several financial hardships all through the 3 years of Rudhramadevi’s making, Gunasekhar was in for a huge relief just a day before the film’s release in the form of tax exemption from the Telangana CM KCR. Gunasekhar even arranged a press meet to publicly thank KCR for supporting him in difficult times.

While many rightly thought that KCR gave tax exemption because Rudhramadevi’s story will be showcasing the Kakatiya warrior queen’s legacy in a grand way, maverick director Rajamouli revealed the real reason behind the film getting tax exemption.

Tweeting about Allu Arjun, the man behind the tax exemption, Rajamouli said, “Heard that it was again Bunny who was Instrumental in getting the tax exemption.And he excelled on screen.A hero on screen and also off it.Respect Gannareddy.err..Gona Gannareddy.

” Praising Bunny’s role on and off the screen, Rajamouli also said, “Gona Gannareddy all the way. When the film was almost stalled, bunny’s entry into the cast revived it.” No doubt that Allu Arjun emerged as a silent hero with his magnanimity to show his support for a prestigious film.

It’s a dream come true for this costly writer. When every other story writer in Tollywood is not even getting more than 20 lakhs pay packet, he demanded a cool crore, says buzz. He’s none other than Vakkantam Vamsi, who has shot to fame with Surender Reddy’s movies.

Though he hasn’t had many blockbusters to his career, he’s said to be charging 1 crore for his story, while we have to depend on someone else for dialogues. From couple of years, this writer is seriously working to become a director and got nod from Jr NTR.

However, his first script chosen was “Temper” and that ended up getting directed by Puri Jagan. We hear that Vakkantam impressed Junior yet again, with a new script now. As NTR is having time till 18th to fly to Spain, to kick start “Nannaku Prematho” new schedule, he’s hearing various scripts.

One of the stories narrated by Vakkantam has not just bowled him, but he’s giving chance to the costly writer to realise his dream of becoming director. Probably NTR will join Koratala Siva’s film after he wraps up Sukumar’s movie and then take up Vakkantam’s movie from March 2016 or so.
