Akkineni AKhil’s debut movie, Akhil is nearing completion. The shooting of the last song in the film began today in a special set erected in Annapurna 7 acres studio. The song is the ‘Akkineni Akkineni’ song in the album and will have steps composed by Jaani Master. This shoot will go on for three days and with that entire shooting will be complete.

Business in all the territories slowed down significantly as there is a dearth of theaters due to Rudhrama Devi and Bruce Lee. Nagarjuna and Vinayak want the movie to postpone to a later date but Akhil and Nithin would not listen. Hence the movie is coming on October 22nd as planned earlier amid all the odds.

Mass Masala director VV Vinayak is wielding megaphone for this film. The movie is a hot cake in trade and had witnessed never before business for a debutant. Now the distributors are carrying high risk. Akhil had done prerelease business worth 47 Crore which is the highest ever for a new comer in the history of Telugu cinema.

Bollywood tabloids have been a buzz with the reports of a hot and happening star actress who made her silver screen debut in style with a star hero a few years ago. Apparently, this star actress was smuggling diamonds worth 5-6 crore from abroad into India. When a young customs officer caught her red-handed at the customs clearance check point at the airport, she started pleading him to leave her before it becomes a big news.

But, the honest officer didn’t oblige her desperate appeals and that’s when the actress used her political muscle. Just when the officer was almost on the verge of charge sheeting the actress, bang got a phone call from a ‘loud mouthed big wig’, who apparently asked the officer to set the actress free and even ‘warned’ him of dire consequences if he didn’t.

Apparently, the unnamed political honcho even threatened the officer against going to the media about the whole incident. The poor young man had to give in to the pressure and the actress walked away freely. The story didn’t stop here. The officer has now been transferred to a remote village in Maharashtra, following couple of more such incidents.

Going by the glamour Rakul Preet Singh has poured in for “Bruce Lee”, there comes a big doubt. Had she locked lips with Mega Powerstar? In that case, mega fans have a reason to worry.

Almost all the onscreen lipkisses of Rakul are hot and enthralling. The way she has done a minute long kissing sequence in Bollywood flick “Yaariyan”, her short kiss with Aadi in “Rough” and that deep peck on lips with Raviteja in “Kick 2” have won attention.

Even as he is enjoying a blissful break after a 3-month long London shoot, Young Tiger NTR was in for a pleasant surprise from his Ananthapur fans. Yesterday, a group of fans from Dharmavaram in Ananthapur district meet NTR at his residence and presented him a golden silk saree.

What’s even more special about this saree was that it features the images of NTR’s grandparents, late legendary actor NTR and his wife Basavatarakam, beautifully embroidered with golden thread. The saree costs a whopping 35 lakhs. Touched by his fans’ special gift, NTR reportedly thanked them and posed for photographs with those fans.

As per the latest buzz, NTR will soon be meeting with his fans from all over the state to discuss about his upcoming projects. NTR has already done this before Temper and took fans’  suggestions, which worked big-time. The next schedule for Nannaku Prematho will commence from 24th in Spain.

This evening, fans of Sandalwood Superstar Shivarajkumar were in for a huge shock when the news of the star hero suffering a mild heart attack and later getting admitted to a hospital broke out. Reportedly, Shivrajkumar was working out in a gym when he collapsed and complained of chest pain.

The gym manager immediately informed Shivarajkumar’s wife Geetha, who quickly rushed him to a private hospital. Thankfully, the star hero’s condition is said to be stable a d all his fans heaved a huge sigh of relief. However, thousands of fans rushed to Mallya hospital, where Shivarajkumar is undergoing treatment.

As per the initial reports, 54-year old Shivanna two blockages in the artery, and doctors are considering performing angioplasty, after keeping him under observation for the next two days.

Fans across Karnataka and other parts have been performing special prayers for the actor’s speedy recovery. Shivarajkumar will soon be seen in a menace police officer’s role in Ram Gopal Varma’s Kannada-Telugu bilingual film “Killing Veerappan”.

Recently, we saw the Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan visiting Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu on the sets of Brahmotsavam. Shah Rukh and Mahesh spent some jovial time chitchatting, accompanied by Namrata. Shah Rukh even promised to return to Hyderabad to have a biryani lunch with Mahesh’s family.

Now, it’s the turn of Mega Power Star Ram Charan and his Bruce Lee team to be thrilled by the surprise arrival of the King Khan during the song shoot. Apparently, Shah Rukh, who has been shooting for Dilwale at RFC, visited Bruce Lee sets and was even pleasantly surprised by Charan’s energy while dancing to the ‘Le Le Bruce Lee’ song.

Shah Rukh enthusiastically observed the shooting until 2 am at night, and interacted with Charan, Rakul and other crew members. Recently, we reported about Charan and Dilwale’s star Varun Dhawan bonding over a biryani lunch at RFC. But King Khan paying a visit to Cherry’s sets is indeed a huge moment.

Within less than 3 days, Gunasekhar’s most ambitious project till date, Rudramadevi, will release worldwide. Rudramadevi is a result of 3-year blood and sweat of Gunasekhar and his team, who underwent several financial and all other hardships during the filming and even after. Gunasekhar even delayed the film’s release over several months in a wait for the right time.

Made with a budget of 80 plus crores, Gunasekhar made Rudramadevi as not just another historic film but made it the country’s first ever historic stereoscopic 3D film, to give the audiences a never seen before experience. Now, will the audience reciprocate in the same way? Will they experience what Gunasekhar aspired for.

Even bigger question is, will Tollywood come in support for Rudramadevi with open hearts? During Baahubali released, entire film industry, including directors, producers, top stars and upcoming starlets, media and even fans openly welcomed the film for its gigantic effort in raising the bar for Telugu cinema.

Mahesh Babu even postponed his film to ensure Baahubali register good collections at the box-office. Will the same camaraderie and enthusiasm be showered on Gunasekhar or will the director wage a lone battle after the release? It will surely be a nice gesture by the who’s of who of Tollywood if they come forward to Gunasekhar’s support.
