In film industry, you have to live by certain rules. Else, you’re out on the first ball itself. There are many such rules and most talked about one is this ‘affair rule’. In Bollywood, all the affairs of any star hero, heroine, director and producer could be flashy. But same is not the case of Telugu film industry.

A big and popular star-director got close to one heroine and handled the production of his films and management of his office her. That’s it, few big films slipped out of his hand. Though he admits that there is only friendship, only few are ready to buy it.

Another big star hero, who ran into multiple affairs with co-stars, just lost all the big offers in hand. A lover boy hero whose rumoured the then girl friend even attempted a suicide, lost his career post that incident. Either you should have no affairs, or affair news should not come out. That’s the story.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s extended cameo has become just a three-minute guest appearance in Bruce Lee as he cut down the role just for an action sequence since they don’t have enough time to shoot the other portions- some talkie part and a song on him. While some fans are happy to see Chiranjeevi sharing screen space with Ram Charan, others are despondent for missing him to see in a lengthy role.

Meanwhile, if speculations are to be believed Chiranjeevi is coming today with a big announce that will please each and every mega fan. As we reported earlier, Chiranjeevi has accepted to do Kaththi remake and official announcement regarding this by the megastar is expected today in the evening at Bruce Lee audio launch to be celebrated at Hitex Grounds, Hyderabad.

This big announcement has been postponed various times. But, it most probably would happen today. VV Vinayak, who is likely to get the chance to helm the project, will also make it for the function. Tagore Madhu has Telugu remake rights. It is yet clear whether Madhu will hand over the rights to Ram Charan or co-produce the film since the mega son has already announced to produce this prestigious project.

And finally, Young Tiger NTR unveiled the teaser of his Nannaku Prematho director Sukumar’s debut production, Kumari 21F, just a while ago. The teaser doesn’t boast of lavish visuals, but showcases a simple and intriguing relationship between a young couple, played by Raj Tarun and Heebah Patel.

The teaser also features cool visuals photographed by Sukumar’s trusted aide and noted cinematographer Rathnavelu, while Devi Sri Prasad, who has been composing music for all Sukumar’s films since Aarya, have peppy background score. Sukumar gave the film’s story and screenplay, apart from producing it and let his associate Surya Prathap direct it.

Tamil director Shankar is currently busy with Robo 2 (Enthiran 2) script works. The film to be made with massive Rs 250 crores is expected to be launched on Superstar Rajinikanth’s birthday falling on December 12th. However, a big shock for Shankar is he ran into legal tangles. Was Shankar not the mastermind behind writing the magnum opus script- Robo, buzzing the Tamil media?

A writer argues that Endhiran (Robo) was his concept and the story was also published under his name in a popular Tamil magazine in 1996. According to a grapevine, the writer also moved to the court seeking justice. If Shankar fails to prove that Robo was of his own creation, then it will be a black mark to his career. It is indeed double trouble for Shankar who just delivered a flop in the form of ‘I’ starring Vikram.

When Robo released to theaters few years ago after facing so many obstacles, Shankar was lauded for his brilliant writing, research on robotics, the story telling and technically top notch making. Nonetheless, now he is in a position to prove his honesty as an unknown person asserts him of stealing his story.

In fact, this is not the first case, unpopular persons dragging popular personalities to legal tangles. Recently, AR Murugadoss also faced such problem. Teasers and theatrical trailers play key role in selling a movie. In fact, these videos make first and foremost impression on spectators and buyers. However, our Telugu filmmaker Gunasekhar missed the logic for two times.

Gunasekhar’s latest creation Rudhramadevi had encouraging buzz until release of its trailer. Ever since the trailer hit online and TVs, scene was totally reversed. Poor quality of CGI work had really shocked everyone.

Another blunder committed by Gunasekhar is he included almost similar visuals that of Telugu version in Rudhramadevi’s Hindi trailer. Movie goers thought he would release a fresh trailer for Hindi version to showcase his hard work on VFX since past few months. One wonders why Gunasekhar is hiding the selling items- Rana, Anushka and the war episodes.

We know that, Rudhramadevi is a historical film with many war sequences. So, to present the film as a war based, Guna should have included as many as war sequences in the trailer like Rajamouli did for Baahubali.

More importantly, he should have concentrated in displaying Rana and Anushka mightily as they have become familiar to Bollywood with Baahubali.Interim, Rudhramadevi is set for release in a week days, still there is no development in promotions.

The AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu has finally given his nod to set up nearly 100 mini theaters in 52 bus stations across the state. Kauphy Talkies, the company behind this innovative project, approached the AP and Telangana governments early this year, but it was Chandrababu who first understood the potential in the concept and gave his nod.

In the first phase, Kauphy Talkies, along with hundred of producers and exhibitors, will set up these neighbourhood theatres in bus stations like Vijayawada, Vizag, Palakollu and Tirupati and even performed bhoomi pooja recently.

The AP CM also asked the APSRTC MD to locate the right bus stations and even eased the rules and requested the exhibitors to consult the MROs directly and get their chosen locations sanctioned.

While this new move will let not only the passengers who wait for their buses catch a film during their wait, but will also welcome normal audiences with the cheap ticket prices ranging between Rs 50-80 as against the multiplexes, which normally charge anywhere between Rs 125-250.

Apart from the bus stations, the mini theaters will also be set up in community halls near residential colonies and even parks, making movie watching a more flexible experience for viewers. This ambitious project will also be implemented in Telangana once the government’s approves it.

Senior producer cum director Thammareddy Bharadwaja made a few interesting comments on Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s proposed movement in Tamil Nadu demanding the continuing education in Telugu medium for Telugu people living across Tamil Nadu. Couple of weeks ago, there were several reports of Pawan organizing a wide protest in Tamil Nadu.

However, Pawan never made any public statement about this protest meet and her is currently busy shooting for Sardaar Gabbar Singh item song.  Speaking at the Tamil Nadu Yuvasakthi meet in Hyderabad this morning, Thammareddy said he has no idea why Pawan backtracked from his protest. Thammareddy also opined that Pawan’s protests will surely bring out a huge recognition to the issue.

Speaking on the occasion, CPI leader  Narayana said that his party will launch a massive letter campaign against the Tamil Nadu government, which decided to abolish Telugu medium in Tamil government schools. He even urged that the CMs of Telugu states should talk to the Tamil Nadu government and convince it to continue Telugu.

Already, Chandrababu Naidu, before he flew to Singapore from Chennai, announced that if needed, he will talk to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and request her to withdraw the government’s decision of discontinuing Telugu medium in Tamil Nadu government schools.

In a way she has done quite injustice to her first hero, Siddharth, with whom she paired in flop flick Oye.
