In film industry, you have to live by certain rules. Else, you’re out on the first ball itself. There are many such rules and most talked about one is this ‘affair rule’. In Bollywood, all the affairs of any star hero, heroine, director and producer could be flashy. But same is not the case of Telugu film industry.

A big and popular star-director got close to one heroine and handled the production of his films and management of his office her. That’s it, few big films slipped out of his hand. Though he admits that there is only friendship, only few are ready to buy it.

Another big star hero, who ran into multiple affairs with co-stars, just lost all the big offers in hand. A lover boy hero whose rumoured the then girl friend even attempted a suicide, lost his career post that incident. Either you should have no affairs, or affair news should not come out. That’s the story.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s extended cameo has become just a three-minute guest appearance in Bruce Lee as he cut down the role just for an action sequence since they don’t have enough time to shoot the other portions- some talkie part and a song on him. While some fans are happy to see Chiranjeevi sharing screen space with Ram Charan, others are despondent for missing him to see in a lengthy role.

Meanwhile, if speculations are to be believed Chiranjeevi is coming today with a big announce that will please each and every mega fan. As we reported earlier, Chiranjeevi has accepted to do Kaththi remake and official announcement regarding this by the megastar is expected today in the evening at Bruce Lee audio launch to be celebrated at Hitex Grounds, Hyderabad.

This big announcement has been postponed various times. But, it most probably would happen today. VV Vinayak, who is likely to get the chance to helm the project, will also make it for the function. Tagore Madhu has Telugu remake rights. It is yet clear whether Madhu will hand over the rights to Ram Charan or co-produce the film since the mega son has already announced to produce this prestigious project.

And finally, Young Tiger NTR unveiled the teaser of his Nannaku Prematho director Sukumar’s debut production, Kumari 21F, just a while ago. The teaser doesn’t boast of lavish visuals, but showcases a simple and intriguing relationship between a young couple, played by Raj Tarun and Heebah Patel.

The teaser also features cool visuals photographed by Sukumar’s trusted aide and noted cinematographer Rathnavelu, while Devi Sri Prasad, who has been composing music for all Sukumar’s films since Aarya, have peppy background score. Sukumar gave the film’s story and screenplay, apart from producing it and let his associate Surya Prathap direct it.

Tamil director Shankar is currently busy with Robo 2 (Enthiran 2) script works. The film to be made with massive Rs 250 crores is expected to be launched on Superstar Rajinikanth’s birthday falling on December 12th. However, a big shock for Shankar is he ran into legal tangles. Was Shankar not the mastermind behind writing the magnum opus script- Robo, buzzing the Tamil media?

A writer argues that Endhiran (Robo) was his concept and the story was also published under his name in a popular Tamil magazine in 1996. According to a grapevine, the writer also moved to the court seeking justice. If Shankar fails to prove that Robo was of his own creation, then it will be a black mark to his career. It is indeed double trouble for Shankar who just delivered a flop in the form of ‘I’ starring Vikram.

When Robo released to theaters few years ago after facing so many obstacles, Shankar was lauded for his brilliant writing, research on robotics, the story telling and technically top notch making. Nonetheless, now he is in a position to prove his honesty as an unknown person asserts him of stealing his story.

In fact, this is not the first case, unpopular persons dragging popular personalities to legal tangles. Recently, AR Murugadoss also faced such problem. Telugu director Maruthi dropped the film Radha with Venkatesh when an unknown writer claimed the story was stolen from him. Let’s see what happens to Shankar!
