Wonder what Mahesh has got to do in a Bangle Store? It is for his film, Srimanthudu. The last schedule of the movie is on in Annapurna 7 acres studio. The shooting is going on in a shopping street set with Bangle stores and Fancy Stores. Mahesh and Shruti Hassan are in the shoot.

The entire shooting is likely to be complete on 27th of this month and the audio release event will take place on July 18th. The first look teaser of the film which released recently had set high expectations on the movie.

The movie will be releasing on August 7th on the occasion of Mahesh Babu’s Birthday. Koratala Siva had to struggle a lot to take his second film on to sets even after delivering a blockbuster like Mirchi with his first.

Mahesh Babu is also raring to go at the box office especially after those back to back failures with 1-Nenokkadine and Aagadu in 2014. Shruti Hassan is romancing Mahesh Babu in this film, she was last seen shaking her booty for an item song in Aagadu.

We all know that Pop Singer Baba Sehgal had began new innings by acting in an important role in Gunasekhar’s Rudhramma Devi. The movie is yet to release but Baba is already acting in his second. He will be seen as bad cop in Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film being directed by Gautam Menon.

The movie is a bilingual and the Tamil version has Simbu playing the lead role. Ravindra Reddy is producing the film in Telugu under his Dwaraka Creations banner while Kona Venkat is co-producing it.

The shooting of the movie is going on at brisk pace and the entire shoot will be wrapped up by Mid-July. Manjima Mohan from Malayalam is essaying the female lead in both the versions. AR Rahman is scoring the music.

One of the country’s most happening filmmakers, Karan Johar, said that Rajamouli is India’s most talented and commercially successful filmmaker. Karan made these comments about Tollywood’s pride SS Rajamouli, before going to participate in a one to one interaction with Jakkanna at an event in Mumbai just a while ago. Karan Johar believes that Rajamouli is the best filmmaker in the country at the moment.

Not stopping with this, Karan further drenched Jakkanna with limitless praises and said that he had watched all his films and that his belief is in Rajamouli’s vision in making Baahubali a grand masterpiece. Karan further hoped that the Baahubali will be released to a thunderous opening at the box office.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s softer side towards humanitarian causes and charity work is nothing new. Now, the actor has once again showed his kind side which is an unprecedented action by a Bollywood star. Apparently, Salman Khan provided the people of the Kashmiri village Pahalgam with TV sets.

Couple of months ago, Salman was in several scenic villages of Kashmir, where he shot for his upcoming film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. During the shoot, Salman mingled with the locals quite enthusiastically and melted down when he came to know that several of the poor villagers didn’t even have a TV set at home.

Moved by this, the Being Human star immediately ordered his team to purchase and install new TV sets in the homes of all villagers those without a TV at home. Salman’s staff is currently busy providing the villagers with TVs and they have already equipped majority of the villagers’ homes with brand new TV sets. Apart from this gesture, Salman was also in deep praises for the exotic scenic beauty of the Kashmir valley.

King Nagarjuna took many months to recover from the death of his legendary father Akkineni Nageswara Rao. That’s why he hasn’t interacted with people for a long time as he is recuperating from the loss. During the times when ANR was shooting for “Manam” for 2 hours a days, with the fact that his days are numbered, imagine how Nagarjuna had felt.

Every day when ANR is coming to shoot, almost all the crew used to look at him with some sympathy, for which the legendary actor used to feel angry. “I’m happiest man now. Let us finish the shoot, don’t show me your sympathetic looks“, Akkineni used to say.

He used to joke a lot with actress Shriya and tease her. Knowing that he won’t live more than a month, and while he was restricted to wheel chair, ANR still used to come for 2 hours shoot daily. Looking at his situation, one day Nagarjuna said to Shriya, “Give me a gun, I want to shoot myself. I can’t see him like this“. That’s how much Nag loves his dad.

Anyway, ANR’s last film “Manam” is a classic that won hearts of people. Even when he is dying, Akkineni has showed immense passion for films. Probably we wouldn’t be seeing any such actor in the coming times in Telugu Film Industry. Born in 1923, Akkineni succumbed to cancer on January 22, 2014.

The holy month of Ramzan has started and Tabu has been fasting as per the ritual. Last year, she was seen playing an important role in Haider and it won her accolades along with Shahid Kapoor.

A couple of days back she had tweeted that she had a shoulder injury and that she would be fine in two weeks.
