Still the effervescence around Income Tax raids on film actors Vijay, Nayantara and Samantha haven’t died. While a raid on Vijay could be seen as a political revenge drama, Nayantara became a target for signing nearly a dozen films in Tamil industry and mostly with producers who are politically opposite to one political party. But why Samantha became a target?

Did you remember director Teja’s most recent comments? “Most celebrities start NGOs and take up Charity work only to evade tax”, he said. True to that, many celebrities in Telugu industry own NGOs and take half of their hefty salary as a check issued on the name of these charity organisations.

And coming to Samantha, we have her supporting ‘Pratyusha Foundation’ for which she’s giving lakhs of funds to help ailing and sick children. While Samantha is true from heart in this charity as she too experienced a scary health hazard in life (about which she never revealed, though some say it’s skin disorder while others say it is a respiratory issue), populists should have thought that she started supporting NGO only to evade tax.

Maybe IT Department also bought this belief.Probably that’s the sole reason IT department has targeted her, otherwise she’s said to be known for taking remuneration checks always on her own name and paying tax properly.

Income Tax raids are still not over. At some residences related to hero Vijay and also at the flat of heroine Nayantara in Kochin, they are still continuing. Guess what are IT sleuths saying for these extended raids- ‘the families are not co-operating’.

According to a report published by a leading English daily, IT officials have shared with them that hero Vijay is not paying tax properly from last 5 years and he owes nearly 25 crores to IT Department. At the same time, the raid on Nayantara’s house at her Kochi flat where her parents are staying, has revealed that there is 2 crores unaccounted money with her.

It is heard that IT officials found even Samantha is not paying tax properly from last two years. While these actors are not available for comment, their families have denied that there are discrepancies in tax payment.

It’s common knowledge by now that Sridevi has chosen Tamil fantasy adventure film Puli over SS Rajamouli’s epic war film Baahubali. Sridevi, who was initially approached for Sivagami character (essayed by Ramya Krishna later) in the film, apparently didn’t take up the film due to low remuneration. Since Vijay’s Puli offered a fancy figure as her fee, Sridevi chose the latter only to regret now.

Puli, which released today,opened to poor to mixed reviews as several critics lashed out at the film’s weak script and film’s characters. Even great fans of her who admired her, loved her have been pointing out at her poor choice.

A self-proclaimed and die-hard fan of Sridevi, none other than director Ram Gopal Varma took to Twitter to express his disappointment. He wrote, “Just saw Puli n am surprised that Sridevi chose this over Bahubali ..I don’t know if it’s her choice or wrong advise but I am sad as a fan.”

Time is very cruel. When you sense a tinge of comfortness, it will drag you down to problems. Similar is the case of Surrender Reddy. With the super success of Race Gurram, Surrender Reddy’s fame sky-rocketed and he demanded a fat pay cheque for his next, Kick-2. But things went worse than normal after the failure of Kick-2.

Surrender Reddy had to slash his remuneration for his next with Ram Charan which is the remake of Tamil blockbuster, Thani Oruvan. While the exact numbers are not known, it is said that he is working at a remuneration less than that of Race Gurram. The film will start rolling by the end of this year.

Kajal Agarwal will be pairing up with Ram Charan for the fourth time in this film. They have previously paired for Magadheera, Nayak and Govindhudu Andari Vaadele. All the movies were hits. Senior Producers DVV Danayya and NV Prasad are going to jointly produce the film.

Every minute detail of Sardaar Gabbar Singh is exciting the fans after that little teaser release for Pawan Kalyan’s Birthday. The makers are currently canning the item song number in the special set erected in Nanakramguda. On the other side, it is said that Devi Sri Prasad had completed recording three songs in the film and they have come out very well.

The makers say the shooting will now go non-stop till completion as they plan Summer 2016 release for the film. The shooting of the film is delayed last month due to the exit of Cinematographer Jaynan Vincent from the project. Arthur Wilson was brought in his place.

Kajal Agarwal is the heroine in this film. This is the first time Pawan Kalyan and Kajal Agarwal are pairing up for a film. Vulturous beauty Lakshmi Rai will be playing a special role in Pawan Kalyan’s next, Sardaar Gabbar Singh. She will be also seen in a special hot in the movie offering her oomph and glamour.
