Tamil Star hero Vijay is coming up with Chimbu Devan directed Puli hitting the screens worldwide tomorrow with premiere shows in early hours. Although the film is generating enormous curiosity in Tamil, no one is even talking about the sci-fi here. While Tamil spectators and Vijay fans say the trailers of the film were eye-feasting, they appeared like ‘Jujubi’ for Telugu cinema goers.

Since Vijay doesn’t have remarkable market value here, Telugu producers are promoting the film with Shruti Haasan and Sridevi’s alone posters across major cities in Telugu states. Vijay posters are hardly seen, wherein Shruti’s glamorous and Sridevi’s devilish posters are seen everywhere.

Both Shruti Haasan and Sridevi are prominent faces for Telugu spectators. While Shruti is on full form here with Srimanthudu success, Sridevi will be seen on Telugu screens after ages. Cashing on craze of these starlets, producers are cleverly using their posters for the promotions, rather Vijay’s.

However, it is to be seen whether Shruti Haasan and Sridevi can pull Telugu audience to theaters, since Vijay has less fan base here.

Tollywood’s Srimanthudu Superstar Mahesh Babu has at last finalised Siddhapuram in Kottur mandal of Mahaboobnagar district as the Telangana village that he will be adopting in association with the state minster KTR and other local authorities.

Mahesh has also been working simultaneously on his developmental plans for his native village, Burripalem, and already started the groundwork. In the process, he has completed the first step in adopting Burripalem by submitting an online application to adopt Burripalem. Mahesh involved his production company, G Mahesh Babu Entertainments in his adoption plans.

Revealing Mahesh’s groundwork, the Tenali MPDO B Srinivasa Rao said that a total of 3 teams have been formed in association with the local authorities to scrutinize the village needs. Mahesh and his team are primarily working on a 12 point agenda to chalk out the difficulties the village is facing and also to develop infrastructure and facilitate basic needs for Burripalem.

Megastar Chiranjeevi had completed the shooting of his cameo for Bruce Lee. The three days shoot of the Megastar concluded a short while ago. The actor will be seen in a three minutes cameo in the movie and it will mark his comeback to Telugu film industry. The makers are planning to complete the shooting part by October 4th and the entire shoot by October 10th.

They have also booked a slot for censor on October 12th. They will finish the censor formalities that day with rough copy if the first copy is not ready. . The audio launch of the film will be happening on October 2nd in Hyderabad.

The makers are planning the audio release event in a variety format like never before. So far they have released a song and teaser, and they have got good applause. Thaman had composed tunes for this movie. Srinu Vaitla is the director.

Latest buzz is that, Shivam satellite rights were sold for record price in Ram’s career. As per the buzz, the satellite rights fetched Rs 5.25 cr for producers. This is indeed big price for a medium range hero film and is a positive sign for the Ram starrer. Nonetheless, it is yet to be known which TV channel has bought the rights.

Shivam is promoted as a family entertainer, whereas Ram will be seen in yet another energetic role. Heroine Raashi Khanna will be seen as a stubborn girl. The voluptuous lady in an interview stated that, it was tough for her to dance alongside the energetic Ram.

Tamil Heroine Niveda Thomas is the new kid on the block in Telugu. While she is pairing up with Sharwanand and Naveen Chandra in their respective films, the latest is that she has been cast opposite Nani in his forthcoming film. Nived has signed the film on the dotted line. However, it’s not clear whether she is first female lead or whether she plays second fiddle to some other heroine in the film.

The yet-to-be-titled film will see direction by Mohanakrishna Indraganti. While his previous venture Bandipotu turned out to be a disaster at Box Office, the director is said to be working rigorously to make his next a hit venture. Since Nani too basking in the glory of his latest blockbuster Bhale Bhale Magadivoi, the film has an edge in trade perspective.

At the moment, Indraganti is pinning high hopes on Nani and banking on the Eega star to comeback to limelight.If all goes well, the film will go onto floors shortly. Presently, Nani is working with director Hanu Raghavapudi (Of Andala Rakshasi fame) under the production of 14 Reels Entertainment.

Just a few days ago, a deeply hurt Puri Jagannadh, in a media interaction, said that Chiru should have told him about his dissatisfaction over Auto Johnny’s second half and not to media. Puri also said that he would have corrected all the flaws in the script had Chiru told him anything about it. Several stories were written about Puri’s silent outburst.

Now, Puri tweeted a few.more inner feelings about Chiru’s 150th film. Puri said that he believes that he has a major right to direct Chiru, since he is the biggest fan of Megastar. “Only fans know what’s better for Chiru to look good on screen, even Chiru doesn’t know,” said Puri. The maverick director further said that he will prepare a fresh story for Chiru.

“And if Megastar doesn’t like that script, I will prepare yet another script until he’s satisfied,” asserted Puri. “I will surely direct Chiru’s 150th film, and if not this film, will surely direct his 151st film,” said an emotional Puri Jagannadh. Finally, Puri concluded saying that he is longing to direct Chiru some day in the future.
