New title for Varun Tej’s Loafer?
Puri Jagannadh is forced to reconsider changing of his next film title. The title Loafer did not suit the film and also got negative feedback from the audience. Puri was first confident that it will be an apt one but is now reconsidering on the recommendation of the producer C.Kalyan and his guru Ram Gopal Varma.
The new title is ‘Maa Amma Seetha Maa Lakshmi’. The official announcement regarding the title will be done after the movie shoot is complete. Only 2-3 days of shoot is left before the wrap. The post production works are also happening simultaneously. The release plan is yet to be confirmed by the makers.
Posani Krishna Murali and Revathi are playing the parents of Varun Tej in the film. The actor will be seen as a robber who reforms later. Bollywood model Disha Patani is playing the female lead in the film and it marks her Telugu debut. Sunil Kashyap is the music composer.
‘I Will Buy Naidu’s Assets For 45 Lakhs’
While the Nara family has been receiving accolades for disclosing their assets recently, the YSRCP Chief Spokesperson Ambati Rambabu mocked the faulty assets openly disclosed by Nara Lokesh. Mocking the assets disclosure, Ambati said that even the members of both Nara and Nandamuri families are not believing the numbers made public by Lokesh.
In a media meet this morning, Ambati poised a direct question to the Nara family asking them if 5 actress of land is valued just 71 lakhs anywhere in Hyderabad city. Ambati also said that Lokesh and his wife Brahmani own 10 acres of land near Hi-tech City, which they valued at 1.5 crores.
“When disclosing assets, they should furnish market rates not the government value,” said Ambati, adding that even the stamp duty would be more than 1.5 crore. “Not even the TDP cadres will believe these ridiculous numbers disclosed by Lokesh,” mocked Ambati.
Ambati also said that he’s ready to purchase Chandrababu’s assets for 45 lakhs and asked if Chandrababu is ready to sell them to him. Ambati also questioned Lokesh’s statement by saying, “how can anyone earn crores of rupees by selling milk and vegetables?”
Demanding a high-level inquiry by a retired judge, Ambati said that Chandrababu amassed thousands of crores of illegal assets by joining hands with the Singapore government.
Samantha is Anasuya Ramalingam
The title logo of Trivikram’s next with Nithin, A..Aa, Anasuya Ramalingam Vs Anand Vihari was released a short while ago. The title design is impressive and is an instant hit with the people. The logo poster also reveals one more interesting update regarding the film.
Nadiya is not Anasuya Ramalingam as predicted by some media house. It is clearly said that Nithin will be seen as Anand Vihari while Samantha will be Anasuya Ramalingam. While Samantha plays the main heroine, Malayalam Premam fame Anupama Parameshwaran is the second heroine.
It marks the Telugu debut of Anupama. The shooting begins on October 6th and it will go non-stop till completion. The makers are planning Sankranthi 2016 release for the movie.Trivikram’s close friends, Harika and Haasini creations will produce this youthful entertainer.
They have previously produced Trivikram’s Julayi and S/O Satyamurthy. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director and this will be his first time in Telugu.
Special Plans for Baahubali TV Premiere
SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus film, Baahubali will screened in the Television for the first time on October 25th in MAA TV. The leading entertainment channel had invested huge money on bagging this movie rights and so efforts are on to derieve maximum advantage out of that.
Accordingly MAA TV is planning a non stop two hour special program on October 24th, a day prior to the film’s telecast. The channel will be airing Some exclusive behind the scenes info along with the star cast interviews during this time to draw the attention of the audience on the D-Day.
Baahubali in its full run is one of the biggest hits of Indian Cinema. The movie in all languages put together has collected a whopping 600 Crore gross which is never before heard for any film from Telugu film industry. Following the super success of the film, there is big hype on the second part which will see light the next year.
Just Miss! ‘Boss Boss Mega Boss’
Anam Vivekananda Reddy, the name itself brings many laughs due to the politician’s exhibition of variety of shades and film stunts in public. This colorful Congress leader has an obsession of becoming a film actor. He has a habit of watching a film everyday since childhood and follows the same fashion in real life.
Anam previously disclosed that, his colleague and film actor Chiranjeevi had asked him to play a guest role in the megastar’s 150th film for which he had given his nod. Unfortunately, the project has been delayed for long time and there is no clarity when actually this goes on floors.
Meanwhile, a businessman hailing from Nellore has planned a film with Anam. Ajmal Ameer of Rangam fame was roped into play leading role, while Anam was offered a judge role. Anam is given 1 hour screen time. They even planned to shoot couple of songs on Viveka and thought of bringing top singers like SP Balu and KJ Yesudasu to sing the songs. ‘Boss Boss Mega Boss’ and Naa Desam Naa Desam were the songs planned to be shot on Viveka.
A court set was erected at VR BED College and Kshamapana was finalized as title for the film. After releasing the posters, the producer placed massive cutouts in Nellore city on Anam’s birthday eve to make the political leader happier. Huge buzz was created on the film. When everyone thought the film will start rolling in one or two days time. There emerged a problem that made Anam to go back on his decision and also to cancel the film.
Anam’s antis started negative publicity for the film. They made numerous and humorous remarks on the title. ‘They said Anam kept the title as to convey his apologizes (kshamapana) for not assisting people in his constituency. He was made fun in social sites too.
When Viveka got to know all these, he thought his image will be damaged if acted in films and decided not to act in the film. The producer who already spent big sum was in shock with the gesture.
Move It, Move It. Here Comes New Superstar
Pawan, Mahesh, Charan, Jr NTR, Bunny and Prabhas are the biggest crowd pullers followed Raviteja, Ram, Nitin and Gopichand in the secondary slot. When the top stars are all above 40 crores ‘share’ pulling capacity, these secondary stars are pulling nearly 20 crores ‘share’ all the time. There comes Nani, emerging like a King out of the clouds.
None of the recent hits of Raviteja (Power), Ram (Pandaga Chesko), Nitin (Gundejari Gallantayyinde) and Gopichand (Loukyam) have surpassed past 25 crores after their full run at box office. Only Power touched that coveted 25 crores mark, while other are between 18-23 crores ‘share’ mark. Racing past the 25 crore figure after 25 days run at box office, Nani’s “Bhale Bhale Magadivoyi” made him the new king at box after the big super stars.
The film has collected 25.9 crore Rupees and if it continues the dream run until “Shivam” arrives on October 2nd, then it’s going to be couple of crores more. That makes the Nani a new superstar in the 25 crore club and in the coming days his films will be giving more competition to big stars for sure.

Akbaruddin Is Today’s Telangana Hero
MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi gave prolonged lecture on farmers suicides in the state. He did what other opposition parties BJP, TDP and Congress couldn’t. In fact, KTR efforts to control him turned failure.
When Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy said normal rainfall is registered throughout the state, except for 3 places, Akbaruddin countered him saying, “Why this government is blaming nature and the rain god. Farmers committed suicide in the areas wherein good rain fall is registered.”
Akbaruddin announced number of suicides occurred in each minister’s in charge districts. “18 suicides in KTR’s constituency, 15 suicides in Etela Rajender’s constituency, 11 in Harish Rao’s, 11 in Chandulal’s, 10 in Mahender Reddy’s, 10 in Jupally Prabhakar and 15 in Lakshma Reddy’s constituency.”
Akbaruddin constantly mentioned that more suicides were occurred in CM KCR’s in charge district- Medak. “34 farmers committed suicides in the district. Is this Govt not in a position to provide ‘Kisan Cards’ to famers. When 1 lakh people applied for the cards, they have offered only 8,000 cards. What the ministers are doing in Hyderabad when farmers are facing tough times. At least one farmer suicide is being registered on every day. Why the ruling party is laughing at opposition leaders when are enquired about farmers suicides.”
KTR questioned Akbaruddin to speak straightly. “KTR, you have completed your graduation in USA. If you really want to give any suggestions, better you should give to your party leaders.”
When KTR couldn’t give tough fight to Akbaruddin, Harish Rao interfered and asserted the speaker that this much time should not be given to a single member. Then, understanding the meaning of Harish’s words, the speaker requested the MIM leader to complete his speech as soon as possible. So, Harish Rao cleverly saved KTR from Akbaruddin.
Overall, Akbaruddin dominated KTR and steal the show with remarkable annotations over the government.

Even Fatwa Couldn’t Stop Rahman From Oscar Race
Couple of weeks ago, a Mumbai based religiosity fundamental Muslim group Raza Academy issued fatwa against the musical genius AR Rahman and world renowned Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi for making a biopic, Muhammad of Prophet Muhammad. To this, Rahman replied in utmost love and warmth, requesting to spread peace and not negative feelings.
Now, the Iranian film board has selected Muhammad: The Messenger of God as their entry to compete for the Best Foreign Language Film award in the upcoming Oscar awards. Muhammad is the costliest film ever made in Iran, with $40 million budget (close to Baahubali budget). The film was partly funded by the government and it was a box-office success too.
This will be yet another attempt for AR Rahman after his double Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours, Water, Million Dollar Arm and The Hundred-Foot Journey. On the other hand, even Majid Majidi gave Iran its first Oscar nomination with the classic Children of Heaven in 1998.
Only 3 Mins – It’s Chiru’s Decision
Celebrations have already started for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s comeback to silver screen. Mega fans six years wait ends with Ram Charan’s Bruce Lee wherein the megastar is playing a cameo. In fact, it wasn’t an extended cameo role that exists for 20 minutes as reported earlier. Chiranjeevi will be seen just for three minutes and his part will be shot in 3 days.
Yesterday, the production unit started shooting Chiranjeevi’s introduction scene for which they used a chopper and horses. The megastar will complete his part of shooting by tomorrow. He will be seen performing a high octane action sequence.
Actually, director Sreenu Vaitla and his writer-friends Gopi Mohan and Kona Venkat penned a 20 min role for Chiru, but as the release date is nearing Chiru directed them to cut off song and few other scenes to wrap up the film as soon as possible to release it on scheduled date of October 16th.
Though the decision disappointed Sreenu Vaitla, he had no option rather trimming the role. SS Thaman would also feel bad for missing the chance to compose a song for Chiranjeevi. Literally, this is a depressing news for mega fans too as they wished to see Chiranjeevi in a lengthy role.
Kanche Finds More Inspiration In Hollywood
For decades, script writers and filmmakers sought inspiration from several art forms like painting, photography and even music, literature and real life stories. While there is nothing wrong in getting inspired from an awe-inspiring creation, in most cases, the inspired films tend to achieve much better cinematic results compared to the films that inspired them.
In Telugu, one such filmmaker who never crosses the fine line between inspiration and copying is the maverick director Krish. While Motorcycle Diaries and Easy Rider provided him inspiration for his debut film Gamyam, Hollywood cult classic Crash motivated Krish to make Vedam. Now, Krish is coming up with an intense love saga set against the World War II.
Soon when Kanche trailer was released, comparisons were drawn between Kanche and the Hollywood hit, Dear John. Now, the latest revelation suggests that Kanche was primarily inspired from yet another Hollywood war classic, Enemy At The Gates. This Jude Law, Joseph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz starrer tells the triangular love story set in The Battle for Stalingrad, a war between the Russian Red Army and the German forces.
In several interviews during the audio launch, Krish said that Kanche is inspired from real events that took place during the WWII. Krish also said that Telugu people played a huge role in the World War II and Vizag was even attacked by the Japanese forces. Altogether, Krish is sure to weave a beautiful story, which Tollywood can feel proud of.
