Centre Showers Boons On AP, Ring Road Around Amaravathi

People of Andhra Pradesh are continuously expressing their distress over BJP’s negligence over the state post the state bifurcation. They indeed thought the BJP led by Narendra Modi will take best care of the state after the party came to ruling in the centre. However, it hasn’t happened. There is no progress yet on special status. People almost lost trust on BJP. Even the party leaders are not able to answer, what Modi government did offer to the state in the 15 months ruling time.

Apparently, after facing continuous sarcasm, BJP has now decided to give its helping hand to Andhra Pradesh, since state capital Amaravathi will be launched in less then 3 weeks time. On course of this, the central government showers boons on the state. They have approved a Ring Road to be constructed in About 185 Kilo Meters around Amaravathi City. Additionally, Andhra Pradesh roads in 800 kms are announced as national highways.

Kadapa, Kurnool and Ananthapur roads will be connected to NH60 and NH60. Now, all these roads with 4 lanes will turn into 6 to 8 lane highways. Central Government is ready to release amount for the Ring Road and other highways based on the land acquisition information from AP government.

BJP needs to execute few more development schemes in order to regain the people trust again in Andhra Pradesh, says political analysts.

Actress Raasi To Join YSRC?

Yesteryear heroine Raasi, who has been away from media glare for sometime now, is back in the news. This time around, she took the center stage as she was spotted with rather surprising personality. Raasi was seen meeting YSR Congress president YS Jagan at the YSR Congress party office in Lotus Pond. She was accompanied by her little daughter and husband. Apparently, Raasi brought her daughter to seek YS Jagan’s blessings on the eve of her daughter’s birthday.

If reports are anything to go by, we hear that Raasi is keen on making political foray and apparently weighing options to join Opposition YSR Congress. This is why Raasi seems to have sought Jagan’s blessings for her daughter.

Given that present political scenario in Andhra Pradesh has good scope for actresses turned politicians like Roja, Raasi too seem to be keen on testing her luck in politics. If all goes well, one more actress will soon make her political debut. The moot question is will she able to shine in politics?

While in one photograph, a Muslim father and his children are seen offering prayers to Lord Ganesha, another picture shows a Ganesh pandal allowing the Muslim brothers to perform their Namaz in its premises. These two photographs define the real spirit of the world’s largest secular country, India.

Last week saw two of the biggest festivals for Hindus and Muslims, Ganesh Chaturthi and Bakrid respectively. India, being a highly religious nation, both the festivals were observed by both the community people with high religious fervour. However, no incidents of communal clashes were reported anywhere in the country, which shows the communal harmony Indians follow.

One Flop Will Bring Out Everything!

Director Harish Shankar is one man who never minces his words. After blockbuster hit in form of Gabbar Singh, he had to taste a disaster in form of Ramayya Vastavayya. Definitely it has had a great effect on him and his style of functioning which was admitted by none other than Harish Shankar.

Speaking to media, Harish wears his heart on his sleeve and said, “Many say dialogues in Subramanyam For Sale are touching hearts and repeated audiences are coming to theatres. Many are asking how did I manage to write such witty one-liners. All I can say now is that one flop will bring out everything out of us.” Harish seems to have learnt a strong lesson with the dud of Ramayya Vastavayya.

Well, we have to agree with Harish to an extent that flop means a lot and teaches a lot. Sometimes, only a severe flop would allow filmmakers to wake up and correct themselves. But not only flops, even filmmakers could learn from hit films of them and others which usually they don’t concern. One could learn from anything, everything. What say folks?

The cute actress quit Telugu and Tamil films and concentrated more on Malayalam movies.

Now, after 5 long years, Sandhya is returning to Tamil films with Kaththukutty. In this comedy entertainer, Sandhya will make her comeback in a special item song with Tamil comedian Soori, who is popular among Telugu audiences for his act in Vishal’s Pooja and Jayasimha and Suriya’s Sikinder.

However, the crew members of Kaththukutty insisted that this item song will not damage Sandhya’s reputation as a homely heroine. In fact, even though it’s an item song, it was shot aesthetically sans any vulgarity. The film is based on farmers plight and the script has already won appreciation from top Tamil political leaders.

Ex-CM’s Brother To Join In TDP

Party jumping is very common scenario in politics. But, this is a different case. Brother of former chief minister is willing to join ruling party. United Andhra Pradesh last CM Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy’s brother Kishore Kumar Reddy is willing to start second innings by joining Telugu Desam Party.

While his brother was in CM chair, Kishore Kumar used to look after Chittoor district affairs. Later, when Kiran Kumar launched ‘Jai Samaikyandhra Party’, Kishore stood by his brother and contested in the last general elections on party’s ticket in Pileru constituency. Nevertheless, he lost the elections to YSRCP candidate Chintala Ramachandra Reddy with big margin.

Post the elections, Kiran as well as Kishore kept away from politics and avoided media completely. However, in a sudden development, Kishore has decided to join the ruling party- TDP. CM Chandrababu Naidu who got to know about this has also given his nod for Kishore’s entry into the party.

If things go well, Kishore will officially announce the news soon. It is to be seen what Kiran Kumar Reddy will say about this!

Baahubali 2 Not Releasing In 2016?

In May 2015 we have seen the first part of magnum opus “Baahubali” and in May 2016 people are expecting to see the second part. Going by the pace at which this team is working, it seems Baahubali 2 may not hit cinemas in 2016.

Both Baahubali and Bhallaladeva should get ready to lock horns with each other, such that Rajamouli could wrap the climax part of the film, “Baahubali: The Conclusion”. While Prabhas is already building the muscle and getting into the skin of character, Rana is still wandering out in his newly achieved lean look.

Now that he is getting ready to kick start Prem Rakshit’s directorial debut’s shoot from November, the film is gonna get completed by January. So, when will Rana scale up his physique and take part in Baahubali 2 shoot? From then, how long it will take to complete the Visual Effects work? Does it look like any possibility for the film to hit cinemas in 2016, except if it is already shot and Rajamouli has to finish just 10% work.

A rumour says, Rajamouli has already shot the whole second part too, but as they wanted to release the film in two parts, they are actually hiding the fact by saying that 60% of the film is yet to be shot. If 60% is to be shot, then the film will make it to theatres only in 2017, with Rajamouli and VFX consuming their own time.

Dear Zuckerberg, Wash The Blood Off Your Hands

The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting with the Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg at the Digital India meeting at Facebook HQ was a huge hit, with both the achievers showing mutual admiration and Zuckerberg even creating a special Tricolor filter that enables to change the display pictures on Facebook embedded with the Indian Tricolor.

However, here’s one protesting group that is not amused by both the visionaries. The Alliance For Justice And Accountability (AJA), a well known liberal activist group in America, protested Modi’s visit to the US and demanded Modi’s accountability over the Gujarat riots in 2002. The angry protestors shouted ‘ModiFail’ slogans and displayed banners expressing their dissent against his visit.

Not stopping here, the AJA also launched the website ‘Zuck, Wash Your Hands’ a week ago and even sent the Facebook co-founder nearly 250 hand sanitizers asking him to ‘remove bloodstains left behind from shaking hands with Narendra Modi.’ Each bottle also accompanied a letter mentioning the names of people who were killed and became homeless in Gujarat riots.

The AJA also created a Facebook event that urged people to join the mass gathering, with the below message:

On September 28th, 2014 – the diasporic Indian community will honor toxic Hindutva nationalism.

They will honor public relations driven notions of development, and increased privatization that rely on the disenfranchisement of the poor and the marginalized.

On September 28th, by celebrating Narendra Modi, the Indian American community will disregard the memories of the thousands who were killed, raped and displaced in Gujarat in 2002 and excuse genocidal Islamophobia.

The Alliance for Justice and Accountability stand in protest and condemn the prestige falsely handed to Narendra Modi. Regardless of his political office, we demand that Narendra Modi face a courtroom and a judge for his crimes against humanity!

Young Tiger NTR is the Chief Guest for Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s next film, Sher audio launch event. The event will happen on October 10th in Hyderabad. NTR postponed the Spain schedule os his Nannaku Prematho a bit to attend this event and to help his brother. Sher has completed its shooting formalities a long ago.

The makers have released the first look poster and digital motion poster of the movie in July and since then did not reveal their release plans waiting for the right time to release. The post production works of the movie are also almost complete and so now they are planning to release the movie on October 30th.

Kalyan Ram is planning to promote the film aggressively from the audio launch event. Kaththi fame Mallikarjun is wielding megaphone for this film. Legend fame Sonal Chauhan is romancing the actor in this film. Thaman is the music composer.

Mahesh starts ground work in Burripalem

Our readers are aware that Superstar Mahesh Babu had adopted two villages – one each in AP and Telangana. In Telangana, he adopted Siddhapuram village of Kottur mandal in Mahabubnagar district and in AP, he adopted his native village , Burripalem of Guntur district.

Mahesh had sent three teams to Burripalem who are conducting door to door survey. They are identifying the needs and problems of the village in the interaction with the people there. They are also concentrating on resource development to make the village self reliant in future.

Once the survey is completed, the obtained data will be consolidated and then the development works in the village will begin. On the other side, Mahesh is planning to adopt similar strategy for the Telangana village. Currently the paper work regarding the adoption is going on.
