Only 6 Hr Working Day In This Country

Work stress leads to unhealthy issues to employees and entrepreneurs. More than 33 per cent people who are working 8 hours a day are suffering heart diseases, as per a survey. So, Sweden government has trimmed working hours from 8 to 6 per a day. The 40 hour work week for a full-time employee is now trimmed to 30 hours at many Swedish firms, and studies have found that the result is more productivity and better spirits.

The thinking behind the move is that because the working day is reduced, employees will be more motivated and have more energy to get more done in a shorter period of time. In order to implement the shorter working hours well, employees must reduce their personal business, such as check on Facebook etc, and non-essential meetings must be eliminated.

The government first experimented with nurses working shorter shifts and it was verified that they are less fatigued and are taking better care of patients. Now, the Swedish Govt. has announced to implement the scheme to other sectors too. While the Swedish people are welcoming the decision, workers in other countries especially Indians are anticipating for their governments to implement the same method.

The superhit mass song from Race Gurram ‘Cinema Choopistha Maama’ now has a rare distinction of clocking 1 crore plus views with 10K plus likes on YouTube. This number is the highest for any Telugu film song and shows the song’s popularity even after more than one and a half years of its release.

Cinema Choopistha Maama was penned by an upcoming lyricist named Varikuppala Yadagiri, also sung by him and noted singer Simha. Thaman composed this mass masala tune, which was taken to the next level by choreographer Jani master, and a large group of dancers in variety getups.

The star cast of Shankar and Rajinikanth’s 250 crore Mega project, Robo 2,has always been a point of intense discussion. Recently, the film was in news as the pre-production work kickstarted officially. And now, since this morning, Kollywood media circles have been abuzz with sensational reports of a Hollywood action star playing the negative role in Robo 2.

The actor in discussion is none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Terminator star, who is popular across the world for numerous blockbuster action flicks. Apparently, Shankar after failing to rope in the likes of Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh and even Kamal Haasan, has been contemplating on signing Vikram or, if possible, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Indian Buys Google For 1 Minute

An ex-Google employee named Sanmay Ved from the Kutch region in Gujarat and now an MBA student at Babson College in Boston, bought one of the most expensive domain names, Google.com, all for just $12, but unfortunately, for only one minute. Sanmay Ved earlier worked for Google during the period 2007-2012.

Couple of days ago, Sanmay was browsing through Google Domains and Google’s domain registration product and noticed that Google.com was available for buying for only $12. Excited, Sanmay clicked on the buy button and added to his cart. The Google Search Console (Google Webmaster Tools) was auto-updated with webmaster related messages for the Google.com domain, which means the ownership of the domain was transferred to Sanmay.

Unfortunately, Google detected the glitch and within one minute, Sanmay got an email from Google Domains about the cancellation of his transaction. Google could do this instantly since it owns Google Domains. However, Sanmay claims that his credit card was charged for Rs 800 for the transaction.

No More Condom Ads On TV

Following the intense protests from women’s organizations and other moral policing groups, the Ministry of I&B has finally decided to restrict the airing of condom advertisements on TV in the morning. As per the latest decision, the TV commercials featuring condom endorsements will now be aired only between 11 pm to 5 am.

Earlier, there were demands of totally banning the airing of condom ads on TV. Most complainants alleged that sudden telecast of such ads are causing huge embarrassment to the entire family while watching a program. The protests were intensified even further veer since several leaders and women’s organizations targeted adult star turned Bollywood actress Sunny Leone started endorsing a condom brand.

Usually, Indian TV content is classified as General (G) and Restricted (R) viewing. While general content is suitable for viewing for all age groups, restricted content is not intended for young viewers and can only be telecast between 11 pm to 5 am. An inter-ministerial committee will take a final all on the issue and send out letters to all TV channels registered with the I&B Ministry to follow the set guidelines while airing restricted content, including the condom ads.
