Competitor Checked-In For Charan’s Film
“Thani Oruvan” remake is almost finalised as producer NV Prasad is tailoring the script to the needs of Ram Charan already. What is to be seen is, who is handling the mantle of direction. Though director Mohan Raj thought of wielding megaphone for Telugu remake, he is likely to get busy with Hindi remake in which Salman Khan is likely to feature.
In that case, Ram Charan’s quick option at the moment is Surender Reddy. Even our mega hero tried to convince the ‘Kick’ director to accept this project, rather cooking a new story and directing it. In the mean time, the other day’s release “Subrahmanyam For Sale” proved that even Harish Shankar is a best bet for the remake.
Earlier Harish has carved out wonderful characterisation and dialogues for “Dabangg” Telugu remake and gave Pawan Kalyan a big hit, ending his dry spell of 10 years. Now, he has shown Saidharam Tej in a way that he’s the next best among mega heroes.
For such director, as Thani Oruvan’s story is already locked, he could super justice to dialogues and screenplay changes. Also the fact that Harish Shankar is a hardcore mega fan, will help bringing the best out of Charan too. He’s a new competitor who has checked-in into the set of options available for Mega Powerstar.
Shivam Censor Report
The Regional Censor Board in Hyderabad had finished the censor formalities of Ram’s Shivam on Thursday night. The movie was awarded U/A certificate with zero cuts. Even though the board offered U certificate with some cuts, the makers were happy with U/A with no cuts.
Shivam is all set for a grand release on October 2nd. It is a very good date since there is a long weekend due to Gandhi Jayanthi holiday on Friday. Luckily for Ram, Kanche is also postponed giving him the free space at the box office.
Touted to be an out and out mass action entertainer, the movie is directed by a debutante Srinivas Reddy. Raashi Khanna is romancing Ram for the first time in this film. Ram’s uncle, Sravanthi Ravi Kishore, is producing the film under his Sravanthi Movies banner.
Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. The recently released music album is an instant hit and is topping the music charts. Every thing looks positive for Ram to make it big at the box office!
On-Screen Or Off-Screen, She’s Ultra Hot
Among the raising gang of girls, Chennai hottie Regina Casandra finds herself in the Top 3 easily. While the likes of Rakul Preet Singh and Rashi Khanna made it to elite club already, this hot siren is yet to get that big break.
Those who have looked at this hot girl in “Subramanyam For Sale” have got bowled. While she looks too cute in half-saree attires, she’s damn sexy in Guvva Gorinkatho remix and her western looks in Aish Karenge song are mind blowing. She’s the big commercial heroine material who didn’t got her due yet. No just on-screen, but off-screen too she is a scorcher.
Promoting her film at a Radio station in Hyderabad, Regina appeared in a crop top and a loose pants, where her tempting waist and navel show have given a sizzling treat. Seems like this seductress will spell that ultra-hot look everywhere. Success of Subramayam For Sale should catapult her into new league. Wait and watch.

Angry Hyd Youths Hug n Kiss In Public
After intense online protests by angry young Indians against moral policing that has been rampant across the country by the police and other authorities, the Park Mein PDA campaign has now gained momentum with young protesting couples thronging to public places in metro cities with their friends, partners and loved ones to indulge in the public display of affection (PDA) like hugging and kissing.
After metro cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, new Delhi, Bangalore, Pune and Chennai, the #ParkMeinPDA has now entered Hyderabad, with university students from Hyderabad Central University (HCU) and the members of Hyderabad for Feminism group pledging to take part in the #ParkMeinPDA protest. “I will hold hands with my friend, and we will even hug all this in broad daylight, in a public place the Sanjeeviah Park,” said Amritha Lawrence, a photographer.
Recently, the Mumbai police raided several hotels and lodges and arrested young couples in love who were spending their private moments. These raids were termed as interruption of privacy by the young gunslinger of the country, and as a protest, they chose to indulge what the moral police hate to see, PDA.
Gitanjali Joshua, the young lady who’s leading the #ParkMeinPDA campaign through Hyderabad for Feminism Facebook group in Hyderabad, says that couples are often harassed even for just being together in public.
Dil Raju Spent Almost ‘Nothing’ On SFS
Star producer Dil Raju is a clever man. He typically signs two or three films deal with actors and directors. This is really helping him to cut ‘remunerations cost’. He asks discounts from actors and directors payments as multiple project deal. Other good thing about Dil Raju is unique promotions for his films. His last production venture Kerintha with all newcomers was a mediocre hit. In fact, the film received mixed response, but Dil Raju saved it with innovative and continuous publicity.
Dil Raju’s latest production ‘Subramanyam For Sale’ released today to unanimous super hit reports. Though the film is regular commercial entertainer, Harish Shankar made it as a winning project with his style of writing and taking. In fact, the film is sure to end as a blockbuster for its budget. Can you guess what the budget Dil Raju spent on the project is? You might be assuming almost double the price. Actually, the film was made on a tiny budget of Rs 7 crores, which includes all remunerations and publicity expenditure. This is almost a nothing budget for already proved mega hero.
As per reliable sources, director Harish Shankar was given just 70 lakh pay for the film. It cost only 2.5 crores for 40 days shoot in USA. Lead actors Sai Dharam Tej and Regina Cassandra were also paid less remuneration, as Dil Raju signed multiple projects deal with the trio long ago. Dil Raju garu, what a genius you are!
India’s Most Beautiful Heroine On Twitter Now
For the sake of a film, many top celebrities who once hated micro blogging sites have joined twitter. For their political benefits and after realising the true need to be available on social circuits, most popular cult heroes like Rajnikanth and Pawan too joined ‘twitter’. Here comes another such hottie.
World’s most adorable diva, India’s hottest 40+ siren Aishwarya Rai Bachhan is going to give an entry on twitter now. At the moment, she is busy promoting her comeback movie “Jazbaa” which will be hitting cinemas on October 9th. As part of the promotion, she wants to join twitter just a day before her movie releases. Of course, many others stars have entered twitter similarly.
But the question remains the same? After calling twitter as something that is only for meaningless banter and hating to join it, why did Aish change her mind now? But her entry is expected to stun many other heroines and heroes in case if she gets millions of followers in no time.
Mega Noise Is Little Over The Board
Needless to say, a hero from particular family is always raving about their family in his films. Almost all the star heroes are doing the same without any change. And upcoming star Saidharam Tej is no excuse to it.
After coining the word “Mass Maharaj” for Raviteja, director Harish Shankar has now made Saidharam as “Supreme Hero” with Subrahmanyam For Sale. And the very ‘mega’ reference could be felt in it as it happens to be Chiru’s old title. And then, Saidharam’s entry is through Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Made in Andhra student’ song, and our mega menalludu make sure that he imitates his ‘Kalyan Maavaiah’ in every single moment.
Then there is body language of Chiranjeevi from Mutamestri emulated is some scenes. Especially the scene where he wears a lalchi and pyjama and puts on those aviator glasses is a typical Chiru look. Not just that, Saidharam tried Chiru’s iconic Mutamestri step in one song. But what’s the need for such a heavy ‘Mega’ touch?
Even without imitating Chiru or Pawan, Saidharam looks promising for his ease, dialogue delivery and body language. Too much of ‘mega’ touch will make audiences bored at some point of time.
