A Sequel To Lakshmi Narasimha?
After ‘Samarasimha Reddy’ and ‘Narasimha Naidu’, Balakrishna had a very dry run for a very long time until ‘Simha’ happened.
In between, he had only one good hit in the form of ‘Lakshmi Narasimha’ which was a remake of the Tamil hit, ‘Saamy’ starring Vikram in the lead role. ‘Saamy’ was directed by Hari who is famous for his ‘Singham’ series.
Hari is currently busy with ‘Singham 3’ after which he plans to do a sequel to ‘Saamy’. This news has interested producers in Balayya’s camp who are eagerly looking forward to the project to materialize.
They are confident that Hari will make a success of ‘Saamy 2’ and are hopeful of remaking it in Telugu with Balayya as the hero.
What Is Politics Of ‘Mega’ Silence?
Politics are different and movies are different. But the mega family is playing a double game wherein both Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan are silent over Babu’s ‘note for vote’ case.
It is known that after getting into politics, Chiranjeevi has been playing a guest role of sorts and so is Pawan Kalyan.
While the elder brother started Praja Rajyam party and merged it with Congress and enjoyed union minister’s post, Pawan Kalyan started Jana Sena party and promised that he would question the corruption in the system. However, both the elder brother and younger brother have been keeping silent over the ‘note for vote’ case.
On the other hand, their fans and well-wishers are not happy with their silence and it is being felt that politicians must make use of the chance they get and a true leader must at least comment on an issue.
Well, the mega brothers are surely not showing such qualities right now.
EC Green Signal For ACB Investigation
The Election Commission of India has given its go ahead for the Telangana Anti Corruption Bureau to proceed its investigation in the sensational cash-for-note case. EC has sent a letter to the ACB corroborating the same. With this, ACB has got power to investigate this high-profile case involving CM of Andhra Pradesh.
On May 31, Revanth Reddy was caught by ACB along with Bishop Harry Sebastian and R Uday Simha while allegedly paying a bribe of Rs 50 lakh to Elvis Stephenson, a nominated MLA from the Anglo-Indian community for supporting the TDP nominee in Legislative Council elections on June 1. Following this, the purported conversation between AP CM Chandrababu and stephenson was leaked to media on June 7th.
The latest is that the ACB has served notices to another TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah on Tuesday night in the same matter. ACB on Wednesday recorded the statement of nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson.
‘Inefficient Governor, Resign Immediately’
TDP Senior Leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao termed the recent developments of Cash-for-vote case as nothing but witch-hunting resorted by Telangana CM Chandrasekhar Rao to harass Telugu Desam Party.
The TDP Politburo Member lambasted KCR and ACB for strategically leaking information to media regarding notices to AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and arrests of TDP Leaders. “ACB Chief meets CM on hourly basis, takes inputs from him on how to serve notices or book cases against TDP Leaders. Who has given those leaks to media Yesterday? Is it ACB or CM or TRS?,” he questions.
Errabelli dared to demand the resignation of Governor ESL Governor if he is unable to implement the rules as per AP Reorganisation Act, 2014. He adds, ‘It’s unfortunate, We have a Governor who is inefficient’.
On Tuesday, ACB served notices to TDP legislator Sandra Venkata Veeraiah directing him appear for questioning. Today, ACB Sleuths questioned TDP Leader Vem Narendar Reddy for more than five hours and set him free by evening. Isn’t this looking like a pure Mind Game?
Don’t Pull My Daughter, Hero Warns
Film stars and online trolls go hand in hand and there seems to be no stopping to this cyber menace. Cyber bullies seem to be not leaving even the biggest of the celebs and Abhishek Bachchan is the latest star to fall prey to it. However, the Bachchan Junior decides to teach his troll a lesson which he will not forget for a lifetime.
Yesterday, an audacious troll crossed all the limits of respecting a star’s personal space and created a derogatory meme in which he said, ‘Waiting for Aaradhya to watch her dad movies like Drona, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom and ask Aishwarya ‘Kya majboori thi’?’ The idiotic troll even tagged his meme to Abhishek Bachchan and tweeted to him.
Furious over seeing his daughter dragged into the dirt unnecessarily, Abhishek took out the breath of his troll as he replied, ‘you feelin better about yourself now??? Good! Glad to have been of service. Now go back to the hole you crawled out of.’ To this, the startled man tried to defend himself helplessly until Abhishek further taught the real lesson. The AB said, ‘don’t like my movies? That’s cool. Will work harder to make movies you like. Bringing my daughter into it is NOT cool.’
Fans and twitteratti joined in Abhishek’s support and attacked the troll to teach him how to behave on the cyber space. Learning his lesson quickly, the man replied, ‘if you want I will delete that post. I am sorry.’ If only the troll knew how to walk on the thin line of trolling and abusing!
AP Withdraws Its Police After Governor Advice!
Andhra Pradesh government recalled its police forces deployed in Hyderabad on Tuesday consequent to the advice by Governor ESL Narasimhan to avert a possible law and order crisis.
The AP Government deployed its own police and security personnel fearing a threat perception to TDP leaders and Andhra settlers in the joint capital.
The move triggered off resentment and protests from the Telangana State Police as it argued that it was its responsibility to provide security to all concerned and the police force from the other state have no jurisdiction here.
On Wednesday, the Governor called both the DGPs of Telangana and AP to Raj Bhavan and asked them not to create a Constitutional crisis. He advised AP Director-General of Police J V Ramudu to withdraw the forces.
Accordingly, the DGP recalled as many as 400 AP police personnel deployed in the state capital and the same was conveyed to the Governor this morning. However the AP State had asked some police personnel of its force to remain in stand by.
The Governor stressed the need for joint efforts to defuse breach of law and order in the joint capital. He wanted setting up of a two-member panel of IAS Officers to resolve amicably any issues cropping up between the police forces of the two States.
KCR creates Andhra Tiger out of Babu and fool out of Jagan
The current hot controversy affecting two states, AP and Telangana is all set to dictate the future course of events governing both the Telugu speaking states. But this has also swiftly altered political equations and public impression of the leaders in these states which is interesting to watch.
AP CM and TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu is known for his two eyed theory, the success or failure of which is still a matter of serious and ongoing debate. But for the first Chandrababu was forced to fiercely defend Andhra identity which he could never do in the past whenever he was in Hyderabad.
His anti-Telangana rant was confined to public meetings in AP but this was done subtly so that T-TDP is not affected badly. But the current anti-KCR moves of Chandrababu has made him an Andhra Tiger while also giving an impression that he landed in troubles only due to his affinity for Telangana unit of TDP.
Babu’s forceful stance has now taken a Pro-Andhra and anti-KCR angle but not anti-Telangana angle as this has become an ego clash. So even if Babu highlights Andhra issues against KCR, T-TDP need not worry as it has become KCR versus Andhra battle and not Babu versus Telangana battle.
In a way, if there is one loser here who couldn’t seize the opportunity, it is Jagan. By the time he started exploiting Naidu’s alleged corruption image, TDP neutralized it with KCR-Jagan nexus campaign in AP.
Sushma Swaraj, A Blot On The BJP
Narendra Modi proudly questioned the public recently that not a single scam was reported during his one year tenure. But his government faces the first big test on credibility thanks to the actions of Sushma Swaraj.
Former IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi is facing a host of cases back in India and he has a blue-corner notice pending against him at all Indian airports/ ports.
If he is traced anywhere, he should be promptly handed over to the ‘Enforcement Directorate’ in India. So, the rogue conveniently sets up base in England which does not have an extradition treaty with India (Music director Nadeem who got music baron Gulshan Kumar killed is also living in England), from where he is fighting his legal cases.
Sushma Swaraj says “sometime in July 2014”, Lalit Modi sought her help as his wife was suffering from cancer and he had to be in Portugal for a surgery on Aug 4. Modi had gone to the UK in 2010 and his passport was revoked by the then UPA government.
Modi was informed that although the British Government was prepared to give him the travel documents, UPA had earlier written to the UK that doing so would spoil Indo-UK relations. Therefore, when Swaraj, as Foreign Minister, received such a request, she merely conveyed to the British Government that if it chooses to give a travel document to Modi as per its laws and rules in such a situation, it will not spoil Indo-UK relations.
How can the ‘External Affairs Minister’ recommend travel documents to a fugitive wanted in a high-profile case in India? She says it is on humanitarian grounds. This is utter nonsense. There is a huge conflict of interest here.
Sushma’s husband Swaraj Kaushal reportedly sought Lalit Modi’s help in securing admission for his nephew Jyotirmay in Sussex University. Sushma denied the allegations. Fine! But is it not a fact that Sushma’s daughter Bansuri Kaushal worked with U U Lalit, who was Lalit Modi’s legal counsel?
Sushma was also the person who backed the Red brothers in the infamous ‘Obulapuram Mining controversy’. Maybe she did that on humanitarian grounds as well.
Why doesn’t she facilitate the travel of Dawood Ibrahim to India to visit his family on humanitarian grounds? When economic offenses are treated on par with terrorist activities, then India will no longer suffer the ‘Satyam’ , ‘IPL’ and ‘3G’ scams.
Varma’s Gyan Talk To Puri
It is known that Puri takes Ram Gopal Varma as his guru and it is believed that all matters concerning Varma are looked after by Puri.
In reciprocation, Varma tweets about Puri’s films. But a new story doing rounds in Film Nagar is that Varma had given his piece of mind to Puri regarding Charmme.
Well, it is said that it all started with Nithin-Puri film begin cancelled. The reason is Charmme’s statement about Nithin and his family being in financial troubles. Of course, Charmee immediately tweeted a sorry message later.
Talk is that Puri will now do Varun Tej’s film. Meanwhile, Varma is said to have given strict warning to Puri about involving Charmme in production affairs. He is said to have advised to keep their friendship out of business.
AP Govt to take on Media and Social Media
AP government led by TDP which is facing tense moments in cash for vote scams with TRS government deciding to take on AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is now showing its anger on media and social media.
AP Minister Achchennaidu speaking to scribes vented his anger on media and social media. He said both are publishing fake and false news and warned that serious action would be taken on media for spreading false rumours.
He said many media professionals may be under the impression one cannot find their where about that government has all information.
He added Government will conduct full inquiry and will decide to take on legal action against media personnel. Cash for votes scam may take new turn with each passing second.
