Akhil Trailer Talk!
Last night was a memorable night for Akkineni fans. Akkineni scion, Akhil had announced his arrival loud at the audio launch event. The theatrical trailer and the other song trailers excited the fans like anything. We will see how the theatrical trailer fared with us.
The trailer is a mixed bag with Akhil being largely good and Vinayak short of the mark. Akhil managed to impress with good things like excellent dances and good fights. However he have to improve his dialogue delivery very much. It looks like his weak-link as of now even though his voice sounds good.
On the other side, the trailer gave an impression that Vinayak is coming up with one more routine mass entertainer but only with a different backdrop. The makers should have taken more care on the trailer cut. The song trailers are all good with excellent visuals and dances.
Unnecessary To Talk About Baahubali: Sridevi
“Baahubali has released, ran in theatres and left. What’s the need to talk about that film now? It’s unnecessary”, says actress Sridevi, who is once heartthrob of youths, and now doing character roles in films after making comeback with “English Vinglish”. On the eve of her “Puli” hitting cinemas on October 1st in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, Sridevi spoke to media briefly.
Of course, Sridevi is promoting “Puli” aggressively on social circuits too, by sharing her looks and teasers from the film. “I’m looking forward for new kinda scripts. In Puli I’ve found that fantasy element quite exciting. My role as a queen is also stunning and I felt like why should I lose this chance. Will have to see how audiences will like my queen role”, she says. At this moment, when quizzed why she has decided to lose the chance of rocking in the shoes of ‘Sivagami’ in Baahubali, Sridevi made those above comments.
Seems like either she’s quite upset for missing out that role played by Ramya Krishna in the final or she’s avoiding the Qs as she knows what would be the next question of media if she answers that. Surely media will ask Sridevi, if she has demanded 6 crores to portray the role, for which the producers have turned down her. That’s Sridevi for you folks.
He is Anushka’s Hubby?
If grapevine is to be believed, actor Adivi Sesh will be seen as Anushka Shetty’s husband. Buzz is that Sesh has been roped in to play a cameo as Anushka’s husband in forthcoming multi-starrer film Oopiri which features Nagarjuna, Karthi in the lead roles.
Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, the makers have roped in Adivi Sesh and Anuska for significant special appearances. Naturally, Sesh is excited about the role. Though he is seen as Rana Daggubati’s (Bhallaladeva) son Bhadra, he didn’t get due credit as director Rajamouli and the film’s ensemble cast – actors Prabhas, Rana, Anushka, Ramya Krishna, Satyaraj – stole the show.
Meanwhile, the first look of Nagarjuna and Karthi turned several heads in the tinsel town. Billed to be remake of French film The Intouchables, the comedy drama deals with the relationship of a quadriplegic patient (essayed by Nagarjuna Akkineni) and his caretaker (Karthi). Paidipally made a lot of changes in the script to suit it to south Indian audience by adding elements that would appeal to them. Gopi Sunder is rendering music for the film produced by PVP.
