Star singer’s appeal to her abusers

Chinmayi Sripada, one of the leading playback singers down south with several hit numbers that she sang for popular composers like AR Rahman, Ilayaraja and others, even gave her mesmerizing voice in Telugu for actresses like Samantha and Lavanya Tripathi. Recently, the star singer faced severe onslaught by a star Tamil hero’s fans all for just sharing a WhatsApp joke that featured their favorite hero.

While Chinmayi had no bad intentions and shared the joke on her Twitter page in jest, the so called fans attacked her, using several disgusting words like s**t. What has hurt and shocked the singer even more was that some of these abusing fans were highly educated doctors, engineers and IT Employees.

Last night, Chinmayi took to her Facebook and questioned her abusers and even others if this abusing trend was healthy. Chinmayi said that the internet must be an open platform for everyone to share one’s views and oppose them freely. However, the singer also poised an important question asking if abusing was the only way to express dissent.

While Chinmayi drew applause and support for her courageous stance, it is high time the so called emotional fans of all stars come to their senses and stop targeting celebs and even the fans of other stars on social media. These fans must realize that even their favorite stars do not appreciate their abusing ways. If only the fans learned to appreciate a joke as it is and not take it personally.

Rana To Do First Telugu Submarine Film?

Rana Daggubati, who is basking in the glory of Baahubali, is likely to act in Tollywood’s first submarine film. Buzz is that Rana has heard script of an underwater war drama based on the mysterious sinking of Pakistani submarine PNS Ghazi. Newcomer Sankalp apparently narrated the film’s plot to Rana to which Rana expressed his willingness to do. Sankalp hails from Hyderabad who had written a book, Blue Fish that explores sequence of events that led to sinking of PNS Ghazi

During the 1970 INdo-Pak war, PNS Ghazi is the Pakistani attack submarine deployed to assault Indian aircraft Vikrant which sank in the Visakhapatnam coast. The exact reasons for the sinking of PNS Ghazi are not yet known. While Indian Navy claims to have sunk PNS Ghazi, Pakistani establishment contradicts by stating that the submarine sank due to accidental detonation of a mine.

Rana is going to essay the role of a naval officer on board the Indian submarine. Apparently, filmmakers have approached Prakash Raj to play the Indian commander. It’s buzzed that the underwater war sequence will be highlight of the film. What’s more? Already a submarine prototype has been built in Hyderabad where a major portion of the shoot will take place.

It Depends On Leader Ram Charan!!

Mega Powerstar Ram Charan is yet to score a big blockbuster post the success of stupendous film like Magadheera. Though his films are nearing 50 crore mark, a terrific blockbuster hasn’t fallen in his kitty yet. For all these good reasons, his ‘Bruce Lee’ is now being looked at with heavy hype.

Talk about Bruce Lee is that the film has shades of Gang Leader movie which we have revealed it sometime back. And that talk is enough to excite fans, but click as a Leader, Charan needs to show so many emotions with ease like his father Megastar Chiru.

The then Gang Leader is an emotional high with both mass elements and sentiments smeared all over it in right proportions. It’s Chiru’s show all the way in that film as he excels in each and every scene. Perhaps Charan is yet to deliver such full meals kind of performance. Though he’s building up his fanbase to a new level, somehow he’s lacking in certain secret ingredients.

With a master craftsmen like Sreenu Vytla at the helm, and Charan coming into sets straight from a memorable performance in Govindudu Andarivadele, definitely he should now click as a leader cum fighter in Bruce Lee. That’s what fans are expecting.

Ram Charan and Kona reveals Bruce Lee secret

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s next under the direction of Srinu Vaitla is titled Bruce Lee. The movie had sparked off discussion every where as it is uncommon to have a English title. Ram Charan and writer Kona Venkat had explained the logic behind naming the movie so.

Speaking to media, Ram Charan said, “We have titled it ‘Bruce Lee’, The Fighter. I play a stuntman in the film.” He went on to add, “It’s my homage to the legendary Bruce Lee”. Kona also explained the logic in Twitter.

“Bruclee is a very apt title for our film.. Many stuntmen have nicknames.. Ramcharan is a stuntman & he’s nicknamed as bruclee (sic)!!” Kona Posted in his Twitter account. The movie unit is totally busy with the movie shooting as they race against the time to release it for Dussehra.

Kick 2, hasn’t give full kick. Neither audiences got one, nor the makers including hero, director and producer got one. Some errors in decision making, some mistakes in picking content and other issues have plagued the film’s success at box office.

But before we talk about the film’s fate more, hero Raviteja has started the blame game by calling that Surender Reddy’s decision to include huge length in second half has costed him dear. That doesn’t go well with the whole team, as everyone is upset for some different reason or the other. Including Raviteja’s decision to cut down weight and go extreme thin for the film is also being nailed at the moment.

Whatever it maybe, the ultimate loser will be producer Kalyan Ram only. Because both Raviteja and Surender Reddy have got busy in next projects, and maybe they would have lost 30% of their pay. For Rakul Preet there is no gain, but no loss too. But what about Kalyan Ram’s investment, both time and money? It seems like every one is safe except Kalyan Ram.

That puts her back in the headlines, because after Jr NTR’s Temper she got no work in Tollywood for more than 8 months. However, there is a trend Kajal is following, which sounds quite indifferent.

In Kollywood, Kajal is busy with films opposite star heroes like Vijay, Danush and Vishal, while at the same time she’s getting ready to work with Jiiva too. Even if the hero is a fresher, Kajal is ready to sign the dotted line.

But when it comes to Telugu movies, her last four films, the two released ones and two upcoming ones are of star heroes only. She’s not interested to sign second grade heroes and movies that offer her less than 1.5 crores. We wonder what makes Kajal adopt his strategy.

Some say that Kajal is of the feeling that Telugu producers are more richer than their tamil counterparts and earn more profits due to heavy box office potential. If industry grapevine is to be believed, writer-turned-director Koratala Siva would team up with actor Pawan Kalyan for his up next film. Buzz has it that the Srimanthudu director would be roped in for Pawan Kalyan-Dasari Narayana Rao’s much-awaited film. Since Dasari is just producing the film and stated that he wouldn’t wield the megaphone, Dasari now seems to have found his lucky charm in form of Koratala.

Recently, Dasari chose to send feelers by sending bouquet to Koratala Siva congratulating him on the stupendous success of Srimanthudu. Meanwhile we hear that Koratala hasn’t decided yet on the project and mulling over on his next film to be. Apparently Koratala has other commitments which is said to be holding him back.

With two back-to-back successes like Mirchi and Srimanthudu, Koratala is riding high in his career and he is in great demand. If Koratala joins forces with Pawan Kalyan, then it would be the most crazy combination to look froward to in the industry. Let’s wait and see.

Now, Baahubali Releases In Pakistan

After grossing over 600 crores at the worldwide box-office, SS Rajamouli’s most ambitious film and India’s biggest motion picture Baahubali has now released in Pakistan. The Hindi version of Baahubali released in the neighboring country last Friday and as per the latest updates from trade analysts, the weekend collections have been quite good.

This can be considered Baahubali’s first alternative international release, apart from the traditional overseas areas like the US, UK, Australia, Europe etc. With this release in Pakistan, Baahubali has kickstarted its international spread, while it awaits the special screenings in the Busan Film Festival in Korea, which is expected to find a lucrative distribution deal for the film’s wide Asian release.

With this rare release, Baahubali also became the first Telugu film to be dubbed into Hindi and released in Pakistan. Usually, most Bollywood films release in Pakistan and leading stars like Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir enjoy huge adulation from Pakistan fans. Let’s wait and see how big Baahubali will collect in Pak and better its overall collections.

Bruce Lee to come on Akhil’s day!

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Bruce Lee was earlier marked for release on October 16th. However it is increasingly becoming difficult to complete the movie shooting by then. So far 85% of the talkie part and two songs were canned.

The shooting of the third song will begin for September 4th. In case, the movie is not ready by then, the makers are considering to postpone it to October 21st which means the release date of Akhil.

In such case we will have to see if Akhil goes for a clash or postpone the movie to a later date. Ram Charan is reportedly adamant about releasing for Dussehra to make use of the holiday season.

This Vinayaka Chaviti will be even special for Nandamuri fans. The festival will offer them a double treat with the First Look Posters of Balakrishna’s Dictator and NTR’s Nannaku Prematho (Working Title).

We have already seen the first look still of Nannaku Prematho, this time it is the first look poster with the Title logo. Sources say there are chances as well to release the Ganesh song teaser from Dictator on that day but there is no official word regarding that.

Both the movies are currently being shot in Europe. While Balayya is busy in Bulgaria for a song shoot, NTR is busy in London. Both the movies are eyeing Sankranthi 2016 release.
