Akhil First Look Teaser disappoints big time!
The first look teaser of Akhil Akkineni’s debut movie, Akhil had created so much of hype and expectations in fans and as well as normal audience. But the one minute teaser disappointed big time thanks to the bad planning of the makers.
There were no fresh visuals in the teaser and most of them are already seen in the previously released making videos. The action part is definitely good but fans have waiting for a couple of dance shots and a dialogue which were not present.
According to the opinion on social media, Nagarjuna’s Soggade Chinni Nayana and Naga Chaitanya’s Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo teasers were better than Akhil teaser. Fans hope the theatrical trailer will dispel all the doubts.

CCL Made Akhil a Star
Akhil Akkineni might be the scion of actors Nagarjuna and Amala. But it’s the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) that turned Akhil into a star. There is no denying that Akhil has great support from Akkineni fans, but a spree of corporate brand endorsements even before his filmy debut? This is a bit surprising.
Isn’t it? Credit apparently goes to CCL which is Akhil’s shot to national fame. Akhil’s participation in CCL said to have catapulted top brand endorsements to him. Major brands like Titan, Mountain Dew and the recent Karbon Mobiles have roped in Akhil even before his launch. Thanks to CCL which played its part in getting such endorsements.
In between, Akhil’s blink-and-miss cameo in Manam too had its share of effect. But with CCL, he became well-known and his face was widely known with the cricket matches telecasted in TV. Akhil’s all-round performance in CCL made him a nation-wide star. Especially the victory of Telugu Warriors on Chennai Rhino in CCL-5 final has added to the hype surrounding Akhil’s debut. All these together changed Akhil’s image in the advertising, PR sector of brands.
Now all eyes are on Akhil’s maiden movie Akhil being directed by VV Vinayak. Will this film take him to the next level? Hold your horses till Oct 21.
Teaser Talk: Chaitu Back In Romantic Mode
Naga Chaitanya tasted first success with his second film Ye Maaya Chesave directed by Gautham Menon. The duo is back again with another romantic tale ‘Sahasame Swasaga Sagipo’. The film’s teaser unveiled today on the occasion of Nagarjuna’s birthday is refreshing.
Starts off with Chaitu describing charm of his lady love to friends; Naalo Nenu track in the background is harmonious. The visuals recall YMC memories; still they appear invigorating. Moreover, Chaitu’s look is carbon copy of YMC. Director Gautham Menon has cleverly brought in new faces for the film. Heroine Manjima Mohan identity is kept under wraps.
As told by Chaitu in the teaser, SSS appears to be ‘clean pure love story’. Chaitu has shown maturity in acting. He is sure to lure female fans. In fact, the young actor is double time lucky to work with ace technicians like Gautham Menon and AR Rehman for the second time. Apart from penning dialogues, Kona Venkat is also presenting the film along with producer M Ravinder Reddy. Sahasame Swasaga Sagipo is likely to see theaters in November.
Teaser Talk: Akhil, No Dialogues, Only Action
Akkineni Akhil’s launch pad film ‘Akhil- The Power Of Jua’ teaser has been unveiled just a while ago to overwhelming response. The young lad has carried out ANR and Nagarjuna’s legacy of Style, Charisma, and Versatility as mentioned in the teaser. Although the teaser doesn’t have any dialogues, it is packed with full of action.
Akhil is seen chasing thugs from start to end. The underwater visuals are hair-rising and foreign locations are exhibited precisely. Heroine Sayesha Saigal and other lead cast are not seen in the teaser. In fact, we need to wait for another teaser or trailer to see other angles of Akhil like romance, humor, dances etc.
Nagarjuna took a wise decision of introducing Akhil as mass hero, rather experimenting with soft and romantic subjects. On the other hand, Nithin spent lavish budget to launch Akhil grandly. Amol Rathod’s cinematography is definitely worth a special mention. Interim, the VV Vinayak directorial is gearing up for release on October 21st. Seems like, Akhil is going to be full meals treat for Akkineni fans.
Srimanthudu Style: Publicity Or Charity?
After Mahesh Babu took the job of adopting a village in his “Srimanthudu”, there are many such happenings around. From Ratan Tata to Manchu Vishnu, many millionaires are adopting villages. Their basic target is to provide infrastructure and good living apart from health, sanitation and education facilities. In Telugu states, many other rich persons are coming forward to take up these adoption assignments.
Looking at these developments, one feels, if these adoptions are merely for charity or there is any publicity angle to it. Because Srimanthudu success has brought more colour to this adoption than anything else. Much of the adoptions look like a publicity for millionaires though they are spending real money to help poor villages.
“There is adoption of villages, much before independence and post that. From years, many people have started NGOs and adopted villages. But a star hero’s film on that note has brought attention to it, to an extent. Though there are some other films like Oka Oorilo that touched similar concepts, they don’t have stars so none noticed it”, says a cine expert.
Anyway, with many donators coming forward to adopt villages, let us put it this way- It’s publicly done charity, with a bit of publicity. And that publicity helps others to get inspired to donate.
