Facebook Record: 1 billion Users on a Single Day
On Monday, 24th August, world’s leading social networking giant, Facebook, created a sensational record when more than 1 billion Facebook users logged in to the site to connect with their friends and family on a single day. Revealing the news of this record breaking feat was none other than the Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
This is a first ever record registered by the social networking leader ever since it was founded in 2004 by a young Zuckerberg while he was studying at Harvard University. Incidentally, Facebook gained its 1 billionth account subscriber in October 2012, eight years after its inception.
In July, Facebook claimed that more than half of world’s online users logged in to Facebook at least once a month.
Elated with the Monday’s phenomenal feat, Zuckerberg posted on his Facebook page saying that Facebook’s reach would continue to grow even further. “This was the first time we reached this milestone, and it’s just the beginning of connecting the whole world,” said Zuckerberg.

Sudeep’s Epic Challenge to Rajamouli
Kannada superstar Kicha Sudeep became a huge star even in Tollywood with the blockbuster success of Eega. Sudeep’s amazing performance in a menacing villainous role in the film earned him a solid fan base among the Telugu film lovers. Not many Telugu fans know that Sudeep is also a successful director, who already directed 6 blockbuster hits in Kannada.
Now, Sudeep is gearing up to direct an epic film on the lines of Rajamouli Baahubali with a monstrous budget. What’s even more spectacular is that the ambitious actor-director will be making the film in 5 languages all at once. The shooting will commence in mid-2016 and Sudeep is currently busy giving the finishing touches to the script.
Even though the star has not commented much about his ambitious venture, Sudeep said that he was fortunate to act in epic films like Baahubali and the upcoming Tamil socio-fantasy film, Puli. Sudeep said that both these films have proved that it is not impossible to grow big and even gave a ray of hope to the Kannada film industry, where the film budgets are several times smaller compared to Telugu and Tamil.
Meet Pawan Kalyan’s Villain in Sardaar
Not many of newcomers would get chance to share screen space with Power Star Pawan Kalyan. New kid on the block Kabir Singh is one of those rare actors who grabbed the chance. Kabir will be playing baddie in Pawan’s most-anticipated Sardaar Gabbar Singh, franchise of blockbuster Gabbar Singh.
Kabir Singh joined the shoot of the film and he had shot with Sharad bhai who plays the other villain. Kabir essays the role of Sharad’s protege in the film and he handles most of Sharad’s work. Apparently, Kabir has shot only with Sharad in the Sardaar and waiting to join with Pawan Kalyan.
Kabir Singh made his debut with Gopichand-starrer Jil and this is his claim to fame and landed him in plum offers. Kabir will also be seen in an important role in Balakrishna’s 99th film Dictator and an untitled Sunil film. This is not all. Kabir will also play antagonist in the Telugu remake of Sundarapandian with Bellamkonda Sreenivas in the lead.
Lip Kiss With Raviteja Is Not Forced – Rakul
“Though I’ve felt nervous in doing that lip kiss scene, it’s not forced or vulgar. It had deep aesthetic sense”, says heroine Rakul Preet Singh, who feels that her kissing of Ravi Teja in Kick 2 is quite a crucial scene for the movie.
Actresses kissing their co-stars on big screen is not a rare phenomenon. But top grade sirens doing that is something we rarely see. Except Samantha, no other starlet has done that twice and with much reality. Of course there are hotties like Trisha who have took part in longest lip lockings on the screen.
Her kiss from Teenmar with Pawan is the much talked about. Coming to Rakul Preet, we have her planting a deep peck on Raviteja’s lips, but it’s not any deep French kiss kinds, which Rakul has done earlier in her Hindi debut “Yaariyaan”. Anyway, all this is just acting only know.
However Rakul received few brickbats because her lip kiss acts in Kick 2 haven’t won much appreciation, as the age gap between the lead pair is quite visible. What say Rakul about thsi?
Sex Bomb Selling Tickets On Roads
Today, Tollywood will be witnessing half a dozen films hitting at cinemas. Though none of them have any popular heroes or any happening directors, they got popular because this day has highest number of films hitting cinemas in the recent times. Among them, Poonam Pandey’s “Malini And Co” is also there.
To promote this movie among common movie goers, Poonam took to streets of Hyderabad today to sell the tickets. From shop to shop, house to house, this twitter sensation is seen selling the tickets. No doubt, people will flock to get a glimpse of this hottie and buy the tickets but that doesn’t mean that will deliver a blockbuster status for the flick. Going by the trailer, we’ve to say that it’s as scrappy as it is, but then, these promotions are making their way for everything.
Baahubali 50th Day – Fans Upset!!
August 28th marks the “50th Day” of magnum opus that was released on July 10th. But this film’s 50th day is not keeping fans happy. Especially when Prabhas fans are claiming this film as their star’s own movie, the whole India praised Rajamouli for the film’s credit. If not that, comments of Rajamouli has hurt them further.
Very openly, Rajamouli criticised that Baahubali will not block any theatres for 50th day to make some records. Because there are small Telugu movies like Best Actors, Blade Batch, Dolar ki Maro Vaipu, Malini & Co, Taruvatha Katha, Vikramarkudi Love Story and others releasing.
Somehow Baahubali and other big-star films that are not running to packed crowds need to way for these films on Friday. That’s why Baahuabli got emptied from many screens. Actually fans want the makers to run for day, celebrate 50th day and leave theatres tomorrow. As Rajamouli haven’t given scope for any such records, they are reportedly fuming at the director.
Meanwhile, it’s an achievement that a 500 crore club Telugu film is making waves across the nation at some places even on its 50th day of run. Soon the film’s international version will be released.

Cricket God and India’s Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar is likely to watch Mahesh Babu’s latest blockbuster Srimanthudu. The big news is corroborated by the producers of Srimanthudu who said they’re arranging special screening for Sachin. However, the exact date and time haven’t been finalised yet. Keeping Sachin’s tight schedule in mind, the makers have made all necessary arrangements for the screening. Only Sachin’s final nod on the time is awaited. Rest all is said to be done.

He was bowled by the concept of a millionaire youth leaving his riches aside and adopting a village and setting up basic amenities, said a source in the know.
