Buzz: Mega Fans Divided Into Four Groups

As Megastar Chiranjeevi is touching 60 now, Mega fans quite eclectic with their plans as many special program are getting initiated by them. Among such programs, some famous ‘Chiranjeevi Bus Shelters’ are being re-constructed and repaired. This event however exposed the divisions among Mega fans.

From various foundation-stones, sign boards to banners erected in Rayalaseema districts like Chittoor, we could observer that the erstwhile ‘MEGA’ fans got divided into four groups. On those boards, we could see the names like Pawan fans, Charan fans, Bunny fans and Mega fans.

Seems like the first three groups are exclusive fans of only one particular hero from the mega family. And the ones that are having the tag ‘Mega fans’ are those who support all mega heroes including Saidharam and Sirish. And who among these group are Chiru fans?

Probably everyone supports Chiranjeevi and waiting for re-entry among these four groups of fans, but this division among the mighty ‘mega’ fan base is not jelling well with many. They say that if mega fans split this way, then there is no meaning for what Chiranjeevi has achieved, because all these heroes have grown up under his shade. Anyway, there is no rule that every movie lover should support a whole family and fanism is their individual choice.

Vishal and Kajal Aggarwal has done the lead roles for the movie ‘Jayasurya’. Imman has composed music. The movie will hit screens on September 4th. Vishal earlier entertained Telugu audience with movies like ‘Pandem Kodi’, ‘Pogaru’, ‘Bharani’, ‘Pooja’ and ‘Maga maharaju’.

The Telugu version will be presented by Vaddi Ramanujam under Sarvananda Ram Creations banner. Antony will handle the cuts. Sashank Vennelakanti has penned the dialogues.

Regarding the movie Vishal says, “I’m extremely confident that ‘Jayasurya’ will stand out as yet another hit in my career. The film is being made with a different characterization. I will be seen as a powerful police officer. I’m sure the film which is being made with mass and commercial elements will entertain all sects of audience.”

Samuthirakani, Soori, Harish Uthaman, R.K, Aishwarya Dutta and Jayaprakash are part of the cast. A grand Audio launch function will take place on 22nd of August at JRC Convection Center in Hyderabad.

Brahmotsavam Will Compensate Srimanthudu’s Loss

A blockbuster film from me will collect around 75 crores.’ These were the confident words spoken by Superstar Mahesh Babu before the release of Srimanthudu. True to his words, the film has collected more than 70 crores in just 12 days and now looks to enter the 80 crore club and end up as an all-time second highest grossing film after Baahubali.

Srimanthudu’s success can be considered a great achievement. With no festival or holiday season and no typical comedy scenes, the film still collected so huge only due to Mahesh’s star power and strong content. But, we still can’t stop feeling bad about one fact.

Srimanthudu was earlier planned as a summer release. With the holiday advantage and the film’s emotional story, more number of families would have thronged to the theaters and the film would have easily collected 10-12 crore more in summer.

But here’s a reason to cheer up for all Mahesh fans. The Superstar’s next film, Brahmotsavam, is a wholesome family entertainer and the makers are aiming at an early summer release around March, if they miss the Pongal race.

Even if the content gets an above average talk, Srimanthudu’s success vibes and summer holidays advantage will make Brahmotsavam a sure shot blockbuster with a huge margin.So, Brahmotsavam will compensate for all the losses Srimanthudu incurred for missing out on summer.

Bollywood taking on Baahubali with Rajamouli’s title

India’s biggest motion picture Baahubali has been winning laurels across the globe for its Hollywood standard visual effects and the epic battle scenes, made on a low budget compared to that of traditional Hollywood epic films. Many film enthusiasts compared Baahubali battle scenes, the war design, the machinery used etc to several Hollywood war epics like 300, Troy etc.

But here’s some competition to Jakkanna’s ambitious war film. This morning, Bollywood star Ajay Devgan took to Twitter to announce his next film, Sons Of Sardaar. Ajay said, “Need ur best wishes for Sons Of Sardaar, will match the scale of Hollywood war film 300 and based on epic Battle of Saragarhi. Diwali 2017.”

While Son Of Sardaar was an official remake of Rajamouli’s hit comedy, Maryada Ramanna, Sons Of Sardaar has nothing to do with comedy and it is a gigantic historical war film based on the Battle of Saragarhi which took place in 1897 in Tirah, British India (Modern day Pakistan). We will have to wait until 2017 to see if Bollywood succeeds in matching with Jakkanna’s mastery.

Pandit Raviteja To Beat Kill Bill Pandey

These days comedy king Brahmanandam is seen nowhere in any big hit. Various reasons are being spelled for his disappearance but whatever it may be, he’s coming back with super power on August 21st as “Kick 2” is hitting the scenes.

In director Surender Reddy’s Kick, Brahmi mesmerised with his comedy as Halwa Raj. This just went to peaks when he appeared as Special Officer Kill Bill Pandey who has ‘frustration’ to the peaks. The whole climax episode of Race Gurram turned hilarious and belly bursting due to his terrific acts.

And here comes an extension to Kill Bill Pandey, as Brahmi turns “Pandit Raviteja” with Kick 2. He has taken the name of Raviteja itself in a Raviteja film to trigger more laughs.
