Manchu family has gone all out to make Manchu Manoj’s wedding a grand affair. Though there have been other weddings, considering that this is the last wedding in the family till their children grow-up, the entire Manchu family has done everything to make it one big, gala, fat wedding. And to top it all, it has been an out and out glitzy affair studded with stars.

So, one couple that was talked about during the event was Trisha and Rana. Till last year, it was said that Rana and Trisha were more than friends and they were spotted together pretty often.

Of course, Rana has a history of dating many girls including Bipasha, but Rana and Trisha have been talk of the town for quite a few years now.

Well, at the sangeet, they appeared totally into each other and were spotted talking in a far corner. Now, that had many wondering if they are back to being ‘good friends’. But yes, both Trisha and Rana made sure that they were not photographed together. Well, well, well.

After Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stunned fans making her first red carpet appearance in Elie Saab gown at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival, the actress chose a lovely Stella McCartney outfit to attend the photo calls at the luxury concept store Le Mill. Rajnikanth starrer ‘Lingaa’ didn’t do well in either Tamil or Telugu. Jagapathi Babu played the villain in this movie and he seems to be the only beneficiary of the project.

Apart from getting offers in other Tamil movies, Jagapathi is now famous there as the ‘villain of Lingaa’.

Now, producers are trying to cash in on this new found image of Jagapathi Babu by dubbing his Telugu films into Tamil.

Thanks to ‘Lingaa’, they are confident of his movies raking in enough openings and then if there is good word-of-mouth, a decent satellite price there. One such movie currently being dubbed into Tamil is ‘Nagaram Nidra Pothunna Vela’.

Although the movie was a disaster in Telugu, who knows? It might appeal to the sensibilities of the Tamilians. Till recently, it was Tollywood that was bombarded with Tamil dubbed films. It’s now nice to see Jagapathi gain some traction there.

Annapurna film school students made a movie without creating much buzz in the market but their creativity was apparent from every action at their movies’ first event— “First Look”   Based on thorough planning, enthusiasm and energy at the function I am strongly convinced that success is not far for them, another few weeks and they will make their presence felt in Tollywood.

Director – Trikaran Reddi and his team of few more students of Annapurna school unveiled the first look of their first production called CHIRU GODAVALLU. At the time of first look launch director Trikaran Reddi mentioned explicitly that this is the first feature film made by Annapuna film school students.

Executive Producer Achyut Chopade mentioned that movie is a fun filled youth oriented rom – com drama. To enjoy this movie CHIRU GODAVALLU either you should be young or young at heart.

Casting Director Ravikiran Choudhary mentioned that 11 plus movies looked at more than 1 lakh profiles to choose the right talent.

Maheshwar Reddy, the production designer said that the actors are very charming in this movie and added that the audience will get enthralled by their screen presence.

The Art director Srinivas M mentioned that the costumes are trendy and colorful and he thanked the costume designer Shilpa Sevella.

Assistant director Abhiram expressed his appreciation for Mr. Sathya of “The Endless Digital” for their innovative poster designs.

The most controversial director of the Indian Cinema Ram Gopal Varma is making his comments on the prestigious movie of Chiranjeevi, the 150th from the day it was announced. Ram Gopal Varma talking about his standards of direction presently, makes it clear that he is not able to direct the 150th.

Speaking on a Tv show, Ram Gopal Varma frankly admitted ” If I direct Chiranjeevi garu’s 150th movie, it will surely end as a disaster.” It is known that the director as been suffering a series of flops and openly accepted the truth that he is not in the list of directors that were hunted to direct Chiru’s 150th.

But here’s another question Mr RGV. When you know you are not able to make good films, then why don’t you try making them good?

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Lion ended up as a big disaster in the Overseas. The movie was sold for a very nominal price there but still ended up as a disaster. The movie was saved here by the presence of B,C center audience, it is not the case with Overseas and so it struggled.

Rakul Preet Singh when she made her debut with a film, Keratam which did not even last more than a day in theaters, may not have thought she will be demanding One Crore per film in future. She is currently hot cake and every top star want her in his film.

She has a film with Ram Charan and NTR, and one more offer from Mahesh Babu is open to her. In an interview, Rakul however totally defends her remuneration hike, the actress intelligently said that remuneration is a reward to one’s talent, hard work and commitment and beyond everything it reflects one’s demand in the market.

“Who will not want to grow in their career and expect hike in their pay with time?” questions Rakul. She will be just unstoppable if her Pandaga Chesko and Kick-2 went on to become big successes!
