Watch Reasons Behind Kishan Reddy Behaviour with his Party Leaders | Off The Record
Most Wanted Terrorist Files Petition On Hindi Film
One of the most wanted terrorists in the world, Hafeez Sayeed, the Pakistani culprit who’s responsible for 26/11 Mumbai Attacks, is now after an Hindi movie. He has filed a petition in Court to stop screening of Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming “Phantom” through out Pakistan. This sounds like a joke but true.
It’s ridiculous that a most wanted terrorist in the world is able to file a petition in law of court to uphold the release of a movie. “Phantom” is an upcoming film directed by Kabir Khan, featuring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. The film revolves around catching a top terrorist (read Hafeez Sayeed) in Pakistan itself and killing him in a special operation. Rather waging a war with Pak, why don’t we send a special team to assassinate that terrorist? That’s the point of this film.
“I’m not amused or surprised with this move, because anyway Pak would ban the film fearing that they are shown in bad light. But how come a terrorist approaches court?”, Saif Ali Khan laughs, responding about the happening. “Phantom” will hit cinemas on August 28th.
Even NTR lost elections: KCR warns TRS
Telangana CM KCR has cautioned his party leaders of losing the confidence among their constituency people. Stating that even the great mass leader like NTR lost in elections as his government failed to perform, KCR said that people themselves will roll out the red carpet in the coming elections if the government works hard towards solving their problems.
Speaking at the TRSLP meet, KCR told his party MLAs, MPs and other leaders that no government that ignores its people survived in elections. The TRS supremo further said that it is normal for any government to face antiincumbency among the voters. KCR suggested his MLAs to keep in constant touch with their voters to earn their trust.
KCR further asked his people’s representatives to check their language and attitude while interacting with the people. The CM cited former Dubbaka MLA Mutyam Reddy’s example and said that even though he was a good man and a hard working MLA, his short Temper led to his defeat in the elections. Finally, KCR warned his leaders of defeat in the coming elections if the government fails to perform.
Her Speech Made Him Cry!
Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj’s stentorian speech in Parliament on Wednesday might have failed to move Opposition leaders, yet she managed to move her colleague and one of the senior most parliamentarians LK Advani. LK Advani, who was sitting next to Sushma in Lok Sabha on Wednesday, was visibly moved with Sushmas’ spirited defence, scathing attack and had tears in his eyes. 87-year-old Advani has appreciated Sushma and gave a pat on her back for her 30-minute-long reply.
“Being senior most member of Parliament, Advani was witness of several debates in the house. He himself could not holding back emotions during Sushma’s speech says how eloquent Sushma was,” commented a political analyst.
In her blistering attack against Gandhi family, Sushma said, “I want to tell Rahul Gandhi. When you have alone-time on your next vacation, read the history of your family and come back and ask, ‘Mumma how much money did we get in the Quattrochi case?” This instantly received well by Twitteratis, netizens along with the leaders of NDA.
Burripalem Awaiting Its Srimanthudu
Superstar Mahesh Babu has conveyed a good message to youth of adopting own villages in order to develop our country. Taking inspiration from the film’s theme, NRIs, businessmen and even top grade employees have come forward to do something for their hometowns and villages. However, the message conveyor Mahesh Babu himself is tight lipped about his plans of adopting Burripalem, his dad Superstar Krishna’s native land.
During his interaction with the media in February, Mahesh Babu’s brother-in-law and Guntur TDP MP Jayadev Galla revealed that Mahesh Babu has plans to adopt Burripalem. It has been six months since the announcement and till now, there has been no official news about any developmental activities taken up by the Superstar. The village has been lacking internal roads and drainages and other basic civic amenities like potable drinking water.
Burripalem villagers have been waiting for ‘Srimanthudu’ Mahesh Babu and are hoping that Mahesh will soon transform the look and the fate of their village. Apart from Mahesh, even Jayadev Galla, who also pledged to develop Burripalem during his election campaign, is yet to make an official announcement about its development. Mahesh Babu, who has been touching everyone’s hearts through his charity work, will remain a real hero in the hearts of Burripalem villagers and his fans when he accomplishes the mission.
On the other hand, legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has transformed the Andhra Pradesh village Puttamraju Kandriga into a smart village within four months through his MP funds.
I Focused On ‘Me’ Then, It Will Be ‘You’ Now
Whatever he does, definitely its going to be sensational. If Narendra Modi started Swachh Bharat, and Mahesh picked Srimanthudu to preach their style of goodness, rocking Kannada hero Upendra has done that through “Super”. He’s talented actor and a director par excellence. As his ‘Upendra 2’ is getting released tomorrow without fearing Srimanthudu tsunami, he explains what’s the flick is all about.
“In my past directorial Upendra, the sole concept of the film is exploring ‘you’. I’ve dealt with the what is inside me. Now I’m going to explain what’s inside others. In Upendra 2 I’ll deal with what’s in ‘you’. The two films are not correlated, neither preachy or spiritual but they will explore a concept of life”, says Upendra. He turns off the criticism that girls feel it embarrassing to watch his films. Upendra exuded confidence that its the lady audiences who will be liking Upendra 2 more than anyone.
Talking about other stuff, Upendra says he has stopped running after success and now started exploring what’s life literally. “I believe every human being is a God. There is god in everyone. We need to explore it in a right way”, he says. But why doesn’t he care about others? “I like Rajnikanth’s philosophy. He respects everyone, but won’t care about any. Giving respect is important than caring” the talented Kannada star concluded.
Kanche Inspired From Real Story
Unlike other mega heroes, Varun Tej is picking class and unique subjects. Flop result of debut film Mukunda didn’t change Varun’s approach. The tall hunk completed shooting of Kanche that is set for release on Gandhi Jayanti of October 2nd. First look poster of the film is released yesterday to optimistic response. Varun Tej has portrayed the role of a soldier and the film is about his adore for a young girl from his village. Pragya Jaiswal is Varun Tej’s love interest in the Krish directorial.
It appears like Kanche is inspired from a real story. Recently, an old woman found few love letters of her mother written to her soldier dad during Second World War. The story was tear-jerking and instantly clicked on internet. The letters described how much they loved each other and how tough it was for the lady leading an emotional life in absence of her life partner. Unfortunately, the gentleman died in the war and the lady alone had taken care of their children.
Though lead character may not die in Kanche, director Krish would have presented the pure love story heart-touchingly.
Unbelievable: 2.5 acres of land for just Rs. 60
With the land values increasing each passing day across India and especially in Andhra Pradesh, one acre of land costs anywhere more than 10 lakhs depending on the area. However, the situation is totally opposite in several African countries. With the Duty Free Tariff Preference (DFTP), several Indian companies are given subsidies to cultivate lands in a few African countries.
Due to severe underdevelopment, land values in most African countries come for as cheap as Rs. 60 for 2.5 acres. Several Indian companies have been purchasing lands, growing crops in close to 34 African countries and exporting the yields to global countries and thereby making huge profits.
The labour costs in most African countries are quite cheap and this comes handy to the Indian companies. Even though the African lands are less fertile compared to Indian lands with only 250 kg paddy against 500-600 kg in India, the overall inexpensive farming resulted in Indian companies like L&T and Shapoorji Pallonji etc show keen interest in African countries like Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania etc to earn big through crops like cashew, cotton, rubber and coffee etc.
How Baahubali Changed Business Equations?
Magadheera’s highest collections record was unbroken until Attarintiki Daredi arrived. It took almost 4 years to register a new industry hit in Tollywood. While the ace director SS Rajamouli took Telugu pride to another level with Magadheera, the same director changed Tollywood business equation with recent outing Baahubali.
The Prabhas and Rana starrer film emerged as India’s third highest grosser minting over 570 crores worldwide hitherto. If their plans to release International version of the film are implemented, Baahubali would take first or at least second slot.
Favorably, Baahubali is helping Tollywood to increase its market range. While it remained a dream task for any Telugu film to reach 60 crore mark, now it has become easy chore post Baahubali released. Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu is likely to end as second highest grosser, thanks to Baahubali that opened market for Telugu cinema in several territories like Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Northern States and few foreign countries. If Srimanthudu was released before Baahubali, the movie would have collected 50 to 60 Cr shares hardly.
As per trade experts, pre release business for upcoming Telugu films has been increased with Baahubali effect. Corporate companies like Eros International, UTV are keen on buying Telugu films. This is really a good sign for Telugu cinema trade.
Why KCR’s Desire May Remain Unfulfilled
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s desire may not be fulfilled. It may remain unfulfilled. The Telangana government has been wanting to have a parade ground near Golconda fort for which CM KCR needs defence ministry’s lands. In fact, Mr KCR had written a letter to defence ministry six months ago requesting them to part the required land and even agreed to give alternative parcel of land elsewhere. However, there is no response from defence ministry on it yet.
It’s learnt that the Telangana government sought about 50 acres near the fort to locate its own parade ground. CM KCR has proposed a land-for-land deal to which defence ministry remain tight-lipped. “We have not received any communication from the defence authorities on the issue,” Telangana government adviser Dr KV Ramana Chary was quoted as saying.
Besides this, Telangana government is seeking possession of 657 acres of government land in and around Hyderabad which don’t have proper documents and defence ministry too vying up for the land. With this, a standoff is expected between both the parties. Also, Telangana government has sought another 60 acres of Plo Ground in Secunderabad for the proposed new Secretariat. Defence Ministry has kept the plea hanging. Looks like, the tug of war between Telangana government and Defence Ministery is imminent and for now, KCR’s desire may remain unfulfilled.
