Size Zero gets an audio launch date!
Anushka and Aarya’s next, Size Zero will have its audio release event on September 6th in Malaysia. Both the Telugu and Tamil audios are expected to release on the same day there. The movie had completed its shooting formalities very recently and currently it is in post production phase.
Size Zero is a bilingual movie made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. Aarya is playing the lead role. Earlier Aarya and Anushka together acted in Varna for PVP which was a huge flop. They are doing Size Zero at reduced remuneration to bring some respite to the producer. Size Zero is a romantic comedy.
The film also has Sonal Chauahan in its ranks. It has a stellar cast line up with heavyweights like Prakash Raj,Urvashi, Ali, Posani, Master Bharat. Ananganaga O dheerudu fame Prakash Kovelamudi is wielding megaphone for this film.
Tamanna Imitates Devasena Look!!
Milky beauty Tamanna looked rather rugged in the whole film of ‘Baahubali’ while her titillating treats in songs looked quite convincing. Wondered how she looks if in case she appeared in a pink saree and jewelery like Devasena we’ve seen in the making videos of Baahubali? Much before Anushka arrives with that glamorous avatar in Baahubali 2, Tamanna has given a glimpse of it.
Here comes a song that goes by the lyric, ‘Naa Romba Busy’, which was from Arya-Tamanna starrer ‘Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga’ that will release soon. This song features our milky lady in a saree-getup from the first frame where she looks exactly like a xerox-copy of Devasena in Baahubali.
Has Tamanna imitated that look intentionally or the makers have just come out with such ethnic traditional Maharashtrian kind of look for her is something no known, but her teasing is quite interesting. Meanwhile, milky’s dances are awesome along with Arya and her mass getup in a lungi and folded shirt is a mercury raiser.
Kamal Hassan croons for Cheekati Rajyam!
Universal Hero Kamal Hassan had lent his voice for the only song in his next, Cheekati Rajyam. The recording is already completed for the Tamil version, the Telugu song will also be recorded very soon.
This is the only song in the movie and also it is a promotional song which comes towards the end of the film at title credits. The movie is said to be a suspense thriller and so there is no space for songs. The shooting is completed in a record 39 working days.
The film will now enter in to extensive post production phase. Strong Buzz emerging from Kollywood is that the movie is a heavily inspired from a French film in which the entire story takes place in one night.
Akhil in Climax Shoot!
Akhil Akkineni’s debut movie shooting is nearing its completion. Currently the team is shooting for the climax of the movie and will later have two songs to be canned in Europe. They are planning to complete the entire shooting by September 23rd.
They have confirmed that the movie is releasing on October 21st as Dussehra Special. The audio release event of the movie will take place on September 20th on the occasion of ANR Jayanthi. The first look teaser of the movie will release on August 29th as Nagarjuna’s Birthday Special.
VV Vinayak is trying his level best to give a sensational debut to Akhil. Accordingly there expectations and hype are skyrocketing as the movie release nears.
Prabhas is the National Ambassador of Mahindra XUV 500
Prabhas will now join the likes of Mahesh Babu in the elite club of National Ambassadors from Telugu, after he signed a big fat endorsement deal with Mahindra. He will be endorsing Mahindra XUV 500 across the nation.
After the super success of Baahubali, Prabhas’ popularity increased across the length and breadth of the country and so the company immediately roped him paying a hefty pay cheque. A commercial and photo shoot will be done on the actor very soon and it will go on air in print and electronic media.
Prabhas is currently on a holiday enjoying with his friends. He will very soon come back and start preparing for his role in Baahubali-2. The movie shooting is expected to resume in October.
Srimanthudu Producers Lost 20 Crores
Biggest of big hits, Srimanthudu is the talk of town. Probably the film has broken the Baahubali saga by catching attention of everyone. After two big disasters, Mahesh Babu has literally felt relieved with this happening. But why would his producers lose money?
If we have to believe that Eros Entertainment has bought the rights of the film for 80 crores, then we have to agree that Mythri Makers and even Mahesh hast lost 30 crores jointly. Had the makers released ‘Srimanthudu’ themselves, they would have easily seen a share of 90-100 crores recovering from all areas. Rather taking 80 cr from Eros, if they took patience route, another 20 crores would have fallen in their accounts. This is just an assumption, but fans do believe that Srimanthudu producers have hurried a little.
On the other hand, Mythri Makers has thanked Telugu audiences for giving such warm welcome and a stupendous hit just for their first film. They are looking forward to give more such meaningful treats to audiences in the coming days.
I Went To Premiere In My Mother’s Stomach
Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Sanjeev Kumar, Hema Malini and Jaya Bachchan starrer cult-classic Sholay is completing 40 years after release on Independence Day of August 15th. Big B’s son Abhishek Bachchan who is busy promoting his upcoming film All Is Well had few words about his dad’s film in a recent interview.
When asked whether he remembered watching it for the first time, Abhishek replied, ‘I don’t exactly remember the film’s impact. But yes, I went to the premiere of the ‘Sholay’ when I was in my mother’s stomach. What I really love about ‘Sholay’ is that it is a very contemporary film. It is ageless; it is as close as we can get to the perfect potboiler, masala film we have ever made.’
Sholay was first 1 crore budget film in India. The action adventure collected over five times to its actual budget. The Ramesh Sippy directorial ran for over five long years at Minerva, one of India’s largest movie halls in Mumbai. Sholay was ranked first in the British Film Institute’s 2002 poll of “Top 10 Indian Films” of all time. In 2005, the judges of the 50th annual Filmfare Awards named it the Best Film of 50 Years.
Old is gold and Sholay will remain as one of all time classics for ever!
Nani And Maruthi, What Are You Doing?
Probably Nani got his things right. Maruthi kept his double entendres aside. No rhyming words, timed punches and over-dose of glamour. That’s how the first teaser of Nani and Maruthi’s ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoyi’ looked like, forcing everyone to ask what these two guys are actually doing.
Going by the trailer, we could say that Nani is an Alzheimer’s patient as he forgets the name of his movie in the promo and the the name of heroine in the film. As the movie’s tag line itself suggests that ‘Memory Nil’, definitely Maruthi might have come up with a fantastic romantic comedy this time. In each and every shot in the teaser of the film, Nani is looking handsome while Lavanya Tripathi is romantic and cute. Probably we have to say that this Maruthi’s clean comedy for the first time.
Okay, let’s not judge a book by its cover, a film by its trailer. Bhale Bhale Magadivoyi’s audio and theatrical trailer launch are happening on August 15th. So, let’s wait to catch up Maruthi’s new creation through trailers very soon. Then only we will know what this duo are doing.
When A Singapore Guy Warned Nagarjuna!!
‘Many believe that Nagarjuna is dating so many other girls, but fact is that all those persons are seeing me in various avatars and used to think that Nagarjuna is seeing a new girl every time’, says Amala, laughing heavily. She explained how rumours erupted about Nag regarding affairs with various heroines.
Amala confirms that Nag has never made her feel neglected and never ignored her. ‘From pubs to foreign trips, we both travelled together, because I’m the love of his life. However when people saw me, they didn’t recognise its Amala and felt that it’s some heroine. Because they expected Amala to get fat after marriage. Otherwise, Nag is very loyal, loving and fantastic human being’ she shared.
Also she narrated an incident that happened when they went to Singapore. At that time she got her head tonsured as she offered the hair to Lord Balaji of Tirupathi. Not being able to identify that that the lady in short hair is Amala, a security check guy at the Singapore airport warned Nagarjuna that he’s cheating on his wife.
‘Nag has immediately bowed to him with folded hands and asked him to look at the short haired girl closely. Then the security guy identified me’, said Amala, explaining how rumours around Nagarjuna are created.That’s a lovely couple anyway.
Man gets back his lost Purse after 3 Decades
We might have heard about people finding their lost items in a few months or an year. Much to everyone’s surprise, A Man had an unique experience of getting back something which belonged to him after 3 decades. Yes, This is very true!
Derek B Gamble, a British Farmer who lost his purse in a train, was lucky enough to receive it 30 years later. The wallet was discovered by train driver Michael Massey inside a railway carriage and its owner was traced based on the details of the contents in it. All that one could find in the purse is documents bearing the name of Derek B Gamble, his past residential address, an old one pound note and a few coins.
Train driver Michael Massey has turned detective in the process of tracing the owner of the wallet. It was through Gamble’s Son he finally managed to accomplish the mission.
Mr. Gamble who is currently in his 60s says the wallet he received actually brought back the memories of 30-years-ago. He adds, the contents in it reminded him of what he and his family were doing few decades ago.
Rs 1,000 Notes floating In the Sea Waters!
Have you ever come across a bundle of currency notes of Rs 1,000 denomination floating in the water? Locals near the Gateway of India in Mumbai were lucky enough to get a glimpse of it and grab a few of them.
Harischandra Somar who is a resident of Colaba is one among those who rushed to the spot upon hearing about the bunch of currency notes floating in the sea waters. He climbed down to pocket five Rs 1,000 notes close to the sea wall. Thanks to the low tide!
According to Santosh Pawar, a hawker from Colaba who was able to grab one Rs 1,000 note, a foreigner has thrown a bundle of currency notes into the water and asked the passersby to do a favour to themselves by taking home as many of them as possible.
The news spread like wildfire within no time and police reached the spot to take the situation into control. About 3 people who got hold of currency notes were taken into custody and released after recording their statements.
