Remaking some the super hit films of their dads and grand dads is something many cinema lovers expect when it comes to these star kids like Mahesh, Jr NTR and Ram Charan. Living up to their expectation, Charan and Tarak have remixed songs of their predecessors. What’s Mahesh has to say about this?

Forget about remixing songs of his super dad Krishna, but cine lovers do ask him when he’s going to remake the all-time best flick Alluri Seetharama Raju. Is Mahesh ready to do that, even at a later point of his career? What is running through his mind? “For me Alluri Seetharama Raju is a bible. It’s something where I draw inspiration from and learnt so much about films. I don’t want to touch and spoil it. I don’t think I’m close to touching it even. Let a classic remain a classic”, says Mahesh.

Not just the films of their own family, but touching any other classic sound negative, as comparisons bound to happen if one does it. We have seen what happened when Ram Charan touched Zanjeer. Late Ramanaidu always wanted to remake Gundamma Katha with Junior and Chaitu, but the serious question is how to reproduce that classic without spoiling its name. Anyway, staying away from classics is a good idea Mahesh.

Somehow the tag of ‘iron leg’ and ‘over exposing’ have eaten away the star-status of milky beauty Tamanna to an extent. If we carefully examine the kind of work she has done, then there is no actress who comes even close to her in delivering the stunners she tossed at audiences so far.

Films like 100% Love and Rachha have shown only the beautiful side of Tamanna, but at the same time she delivered some simple emotions with ease. No other contemporary actress in the tinsel town has delivered a hair rising performance like milky beauty in Oosaravelli.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, while fully busy with his projects in Telugu, appeared in a Kannada film Vajrakaya, marking his Kannada debut. The film was released a couple of months ago on 12th June. In the film, Ravi Teja teamed up with Kannada Superstar Shivaraj Kumar and matched his steps for the introduction song, ‘Vajrakaya’.

The song is about Lord Ganesha and looks like Ganesha’s blessings worked out in Ravi Teja ‘s favor and the film went on to become a blockbuster and even completed its 50 day run yesterday. While he did this special song as a friendly gesture, Ravi Teja acquired a huge fan following in Karnataka through this film, which will help expand his market for his future Telugu films.

Apart from Vajrakaya, Ravi Teja made his Hindi debut during the initial days of his career with Chiranjeevi’s Aaj Ka Goonda Raj more than two decades ago. In Tollywood, Ravi Teja has been waiting Kick 2’ release and is now busy shooting for Tamannaah and Raashi Khanna starrer Bengal Tiger in Sampath Nandi’s direction.

Tollywood’s Greek God and the Manmadhudu of his female fans, Akkineni Nagarjuna has surprised his fans when a photograph showing Nag as a wheelchair bound paraplegic from the the location of his upcoming film starring Karthi and Tamannaah. The film’s shooting has been going on in Paris, France.

Rumored to be loosely inspired from the superhit French film Intouchables, this Nag-Karthi multistarrer is being directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The film’s story displays the friendship between a paraplegic man and his caregiver. Several rumours about the film’s title being Dosth, Mitrulu etc have been doing the rounds since the last one month.

Let’s wait for the film to hit the screens to know more of this Nag’s unexpected avatar.

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus film, Baahubali had smashed all the existing records left right and center. The movie had bettered the previous industry hit, Attarintiki Daredi by more than double margin which makes it almost impossible to beat with. Many trade experts opine that only Baahubali—2 has a chance of beating those records.

However Mahesh Babu says he or the other star heroes are not shaken by the records of Baahubali. In a promotional interview of Srimanthudu, Mahesh said, “Baahubali havoc is good for us. I or the other stars are not shaken. In general films after such huge success will collect 10-15 Crores more.

Thats what happened with Magadheera. We all have seen the range of films increasing after Magadheera. Baahubali opened new business avenues. This is good”,

Srimanthudu is the first star film releasing after the Baahubali storm. The movie is all set for a grand release on August 7th. Even though Baahubali is a very hard target, fans are hoping that the movie at least better Attarintiki Daredi and bag all the non-Baahubali records. Mahesh Babu is taking special interest on the movie promotions.

SS Rajamouli all of sudden had got national wide recognition following the stupendous success of Baahubali. The ace director has Baahubali-2 up his sleeve which is marked for 2016 release. Every one are curious about Rajamouli’s plans after Baahubali-2.

Superstar Mahesh Babu had announced that he has a project with Rajamouli in pipeline. However reliable sources say Rajamouli may take up Eega-2 after Baahubali-2. Rajamouli has the habit of doing a light subject after a heavy one.

Remember he did Maryada Ramanna with Sunil after Magadheera! Which means Mahesh Babu has to wait further. Eega-2 will be a universal subject and will improve the Bollywood market of Rajamouli further. Rajamouli will make an official announcement of this only after the release of Baahubali-2

The other day we have let out a news that Ventadu may be the title of Naga Chaitanya and Gautam Menon’s film. Now we are said that the title is not finalized. Besides Ventadu, Churakatthi is also in their consideration. They are still undecided about what can be finalized.

The movie shooting is already 50% complete. The action sequences of the film are said to be the major highlight of the movie. Malayalam heroine Manjima Mohan is making her Telugu debut with this film.

The movie is a bilingual and the Tamil version has Simbu playing the lead role. Ravindra Reddy is producing the film in Telugu under his Dwaraka Creations banner while Kona Venkat is co-producing it. AR Rahman is scoring the music.

Anushka will be seen in a two minutes guest role in Nagarjuna – Karthi bilingual film. The actress had flown to France and shot for the role on Friday. This is the seventh instance, Anushka appeared in a Nagarjuna starer which includes two song appearances in King and Kedi.

The France schedule will go on till August 9th. Dosth is the title in consideration for the movie. The makers have already registered the title with the film chamber. The first look of the movie may be released after the conclusion of Europe schedule.

Plans are on to release the movie for Sankranthi 2016. Yevadu fame Vamshi Paidipally is wielding megaphone for this film. Potluri Vara Prasad is producing the film on his PVP Cinemas banner. Malayalam Music director, Gopi Sunder is scoring the music. Senior Cinematographer PS Vinod is cranking the camera.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Sardar shooting had picked pace with the entry of the actor in to the film. Currently a fight of the film is being canned in Aluminium factory. The next schedule of the movie will take place in Gujarat.

Sources say this will be a month long schedule in which a good portion of the movie shoot will be complete. The entire shooting part will be complete by December and the movie will see the light from Sankranthi 2016.

It is already known that the theatrical, remake, dubbing, audio, video and all other rights of the movie are bagged by Eros for a whopping 72 Crore. The makers had to complete the movie shooting and handover the first copy of the film to Eros. The profit/loss incurred on this project will all belong to Eros then.
