It’s already known that legendary music composer MS Swaminathan has breathed his last today early in the morning in Chennai. Always seen in the pictures with broad forehead, holy vibudhi, gandam and kumkum smeared over his forehead, not many know how he looked in the most recent time.

As he is ailing from a time, noted legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam visited him at his home recently in May 2015. A picture of MS and SPB has come out now and that highlights how the legendary composer has to give up his ever-glowing look for the illness.

With fully grown beard and  paled out look, no doubt ‘music’ will feel sad to stare at MS this way, while his compositions are eternal and forever in the hearts of Telugu and Tamil folks. #MaroCharitra.

While Superstar Rajinikanth is readying up to work in a small budgeted movie next month, South India’s top director Shankar is silently doing pre-production work for ‘Robo 2’. Shankar’s ‘Robo 2’ will go to the sets next year with Rajinikanth playing the lead and Vikram doing the villain role.

Shankar who always prefers to take Bollywood top heroines for his movies has approached Katrina Kaif to play the main heroine role. Deepika was also under consideration but Shankar reportedly is in favor of casting Katrina.

In the beginning of her career, Katrina Kaif had acted with Tollywood stars Venkatesh and Balakrishna but once she reached to the top in Bollywood she declined offers from South Indian movies. Since it is Rajinikanth and Shankar’s film, Katrina might say yes to this.

“Baahubali: The Beginning” is literally storming the box office with the power of its content. Generally it takes 4-5 days time even for Bollywood’s big guns to amass 100 crores gross collections, but this magnum opus carved by Rajamouli took just 2 days to venture into 100 crore club. Undoubtedly this worried the mighty Khans of Bollywood who has been of the opinion that only a film with star-hero could ring registers heftily.

If we have to talk about Baahubali’s First Day Nett collections in India alone, Baahubali amassed 42.1-42.3 crores nett approximately, crossing the highest collection record that’s on Shahrukh Khan’s “Happy New Year” credit. This film collected 42 crores, while other Khans have made it to list with 30 cr for Salman’s Ek Tha Tiger and Amir Khan’s PK grossing 25 crores nett on Day One.

Also Bollywood media has been very supportive of the film and Rajamouli from a long time. Taking all these things into consideration, a Bollywood media has now stunned with a  cartoon.

As you could read from the cartoon, the three Khans, PK Amir, Dilwale Shahrukh and Dabangg Salman are worried about how “Baahubali” has broken First Day collection records in the whole of India and of all films in North and South alike. One word to wrap this mind blowing cartoon- “If there is content, star-power just takes it to new level. Hail Rajamouli”.

Yet another irreplaceable loss for the southern film fraternity. The legendary music director who enthralled the music and film lovers in over 1200 films, MS Viswanathan passed away at 4:30 this morning at a private hospital in Chennai. MS, also fondly called as Mellisai Mannar (King of Light Music), was suffering from breathing related complications. MS was 87 and survived by four sons and three daughters.

Last month, MS’ family admitted the musical luminary to the Fortis Malar Hospital, after MS complained of breathing problems. Doctors treated him in ICU and he condition started deteriorating since a week. SP Balasubramanyam and Ilayaraja were some of the friends of MS who visited him in the hospital.

In a career that longed nearly 61 years, MS worked with three CMs of Tamil Nadu, MG Ramachandran, Karunanidhi and Jayalalithaa. MS is popular among the Telugu film lovers through Kamal Haasan’s films like Maro Charithra, Akali Rajyam and anthuleni Katha, to name a few. The entire film fraternity down south is deeply immersed in utter shock.

Entire country is celebrating the super success of Baahubali. The movie is also surprisingly doing very well in other languages too smashing all the records that comes in its way. Every one are eagerly waiting for the release of the sequel.

Tamil actress Khushboo tweeted to Rajamouli that she is eagerly waiting for the sequel of the movie. To which Rajamouli replied that the wait will not be longer and the second part will release just in an year’s time.

40% of Baahubali-2 shooting is complete. The shooting of the remaining portion will begin from September 15th and it will go non-stop till completion. In such case, Baahubali-2 is expected to release the same time next year.

Shankar and SS Rajamouli are two of the country’s best commercial directors produced from South India. Both of them always compliment each other. We have seen Rajamouli praising Shankar number of times and now it is the turn of Shankar to praise Rajamouli and his Baahubali.

Shankar heaped praises on the movie and Rajamouli’s work. He took to Twitter and tweeted, Bahubali-Epic Thoughts!Poetic Imagination!Strong Characterizations!Super Heroism!Executed wit Stunning Visuals! Wowww! Cheers 2 Rajmouli n his team (sic)”.

International media is also praising Rajamouli. This morning, one of the India’s business Tycoon Anand Mahindra tweeted praises on the movie and said that he is eagerly waiting for the sequel which will release in 2016.

Man of the moment, Rajamouli seem to have just came out of the festive mood and thanked all his Twitter friends for the overwhelming support to Baahubali. “A big thank you to all my Twitter friends for your great patronage.

To be very frank I neither expected this BIG a support nor the initial. Backlash..but the appreciation pouring in from all quarters&all corners of the globe, v r just overjoyed. Thanks again on behalf of my team (sic)”, Rajamouli posted on his Twitter account.

The other day, Rajamouli celebrated the movie success along with his team. Prabhas, Tamannah and Rana, the main leads however were missing due to other commitments. Anushka, Ramya Krishna and the other crew joined him.

On the other side, Baahubali is super strong even on the week days. The movie collected 6.44 Crore only in the Telugu States on Monday, the first working day after the movie release. The Tuesday’s figures are also likely to be more or less the same.

Actress Shriya recently reminisced about her school going days with nostalgia. Apparently, she was quite a chubby child back then and the slimmer girls used to make fun of her over this. She took revenge over them by beating them all in a racing competition.

Her teachers used to praise her for her uniform which was spotless and cleanliness was her top priority. What’s more, she was very good at studies and used to do her homework on time without anyone’s help. She was also forced to wear glasses as a result of a headache due to studying hard.

Her parents were proud of her ‘report card’ and used to send it back without writing any remarks on it. And finally, quite a few boys used to look at her longingly. At that stage and age, she says that she did not understand why. That’s it folks! Shriya Saran’s ‘Happy Days’.

For the last two to three months, Tamannah has not signed any new projects putting them off until the release of Baahubali. Her strategy was to increase her remuneration following the success of the film. Now Baahubali has released and trade pundits are declaring unbelievable collections for the film.

By that yardstick, the film surely is a good success. Now the ball is in Tamannah’s court.  Will she increase her remuneration? Incidentally, of all the performances in the film, it is Anushka and Tamannah who are at the receiving end of criticism.

Anushka hardly has anything to do in the first part whereas Tamannah was just eye candy. But then isn’t that what all heroines nowadays are? How many of them get performance-oriented roles?

There are girls who are more beautiful than her and there are girls who are more talented than her. Also, there are girls who are hotter and sexier than her. But what others lack and what Rakul has is the luck factor. No wonder that she is being flooded with offers and she is probably the busiest heroines in Tollywood today.

Though there are other girls who have acted in superhit films and girls who immense fan following, Rakul is surely making her way up the ladder. In fact, Rakul is said to be giving sleepless nights to girls in Tamil industry too. Though she acted with younger heroes in Round 1, she is now all set to act with big heroes in Telugu and Tamil.

And yes, the girl hasn’t left Bollywood too and she has been grabbing offers there too. Though she did act in a couple of films in the past, she has recently signed a film with a big director like Ramesh Sippy. Surely, Rakul is having a dream run and it is pretty clear that Rakul is indeed one lucky girl!
