SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus film, Baahubali is rock solid even on the working days. The film had passed the crucial Monday test flying colours. The film had collected a whopping 6.44 Crore share from both the Telugu states on Monday.

On the other side, the noon shows of Tuesday also started on a strong note. With all the hype refusing to die down, the movie is all set for a sensational first week opening.

Writer Gopimohan had revealed an interesting update about the shooting progress of Ram Charan’s next, Bruce Lee (Working Title). According to the update, the movie is 40% complete including two songs and two fights. The makers have announced October 15th as the release day on the eve of Dussehra.

To complete the movie in time, they will have to race against time. Dussehra release is important of the movie as it will have holidays advantage. The first look poster and the title announcement is likely to take place on August 22nd as Chiranjeevi Birthday Special.

Ram Charan made sure that Kona Venkat and Gopimohan are back to Srinu Vaitla’s stable after that Aagadu breakup. Srinu Vaitla is very determined to be back on success track after that failure of Aagadu.

DVV Danayya will be lolling out the money bags for this project under his Universal Movies Banner. Thaman is the music composer in the film in which Rakul Preet Singh is playing the female lead.

If the rumours doing round in Filmnagar are to be believed, actor Nani’s next is being titled as Jai Balayya. They say the actor will be seen as Anantapur Balakrishna fans president in the film and so the film is titled thus. There is no official confirmation regarding this.

The film was launched towards the end of last month and is being shot in Hyderabad now. Andhala Rakshasi fame Hanu Raghavapudi is directing the film. 14 Reels Entertainments which recently tasted flops like Aagadu and 1-Nenokkadine is producing the film.

Nani was with out a proper hit after Eega. His recent release, Jenda Pai Kapiraju and Yevade Subrahmanyam were also of not great result. He had pinned high hopes on this film and his other film, Bhale Bhale Magadivoy which is gearing up for release very soon.

Mega Prince Varun Tej’s latest offering Kanche is being planned for October 2nd release. There is an extended weekend then due to Gandhi Jayanthi falling on Friday and so they think it is going to be an apt date for release.

The shooting of the movie was recently wrapped up and now the post production works are going on at brisk pace. They are likely to being the promotions spree with the audio release event planned by the end of August.

Director Krish who is known for churning out several meaningful film has directed this film which is set in the backdrop of World War-2 and Krish claims that ‘Kanche’ is a film that has never been made in Telugu Cinema and quite possibly Indian cinema before. Bollywood model Pragya Jaiswal is romancing Varun in this film.

Actor Harish Uthaman, who plays the baddie in upcoming Telugu family drama “Srimanthudu”, says he was totally taken aback when he heard superstar Mahesh Babu speak fluent Tamil on the sets.

“It was my first day on the set. We were going to shoot an action sequence. I met Mahesh and we exchanged pleasantries. After the shot, Mahesh sat near the monitor and I joined him. Suddenly he started talking in Tamil, and I was totally awestruck,” Harish told IANS.

“When I asked him how he knew Tamil, he said he did his college in Chennai. And that it was only after he started acting that he moved base to Hyderabad,” he said.Harish says Mahesh is a very “friendly” co-star with no airs.

“He’s very helpful. Since I had a language barrier, there were a few shots that required multiple takes. He asked me not to worry and said that he’s even willing to give 50 takes, if required. He’s very considerate,” he said.Directed by Koratala Siva, the film features Shruti Haasan in the lead.

“I think this project will boost my career in Telugu filmdom. Mahesh and I feature in an amazing action sequence at the interval block,” he added.The film also features Rajendra Prasad, Jagapathi Babu, Sampath Raj, Sukanya and Mukesh Rishi in important roles.

“This is the third time Sampath and I are working together in Telugu,” said Harish.In Telugu, Harish is currently working in “Express Raja”.He also has “Paayum Puli”, “Vil Ambu” and “Paisal” in Tamil.
