Nice camaraderie between two filmmakers is always a good thing to see. Ace directors Gunasekhar and Rajamouli are setting such examples for their successors with the way they talk about each other’s films and promote them. While “Baahubali” is arriving tomorrow at box office, Gunasekhar’s “Rudramadevi”, another epic movie, will be releasing anytime soon.

In the wake of Baahubali’s arrival, Team Rudramadevi shared their wishes for Rajamouli’s film. Making a collage that has the images of producers Shobhu and Prasad, VFX supervisor Srinivas Mohan, Keervani, Rajamouli, Senthil, Ram and Peter Hein, Team Rudramdevi has wished Team Baahubali.

Completely bowled out by their wishes, Rajamouli responded this way. “Kakatheeya samrajya maharani ki, maahishmathi samrajyam dhanyavaadaalu theluputhondhi” (Kingdom of Mahismanthi thanks the queen of Kakatiya empire).

With excitement geared up everywhere about the success of “Baahubali” at box office, which could really increase the proud feeling of Telugus around the world, these compliments are like morale boosters. Once if Baahubali lives up to the expectation, no doubt it will a rain of praises on our Jakkanna.

Prashanti and Geetanjali starring ‘Affair’ is a small film which is directed by Sri Rajan. The movie had recently had its trailer launch in Hyderabad. The liplock between Prashanthi and Geetanjali in the trailer is the talk of Tollywood right now.

And many are saying it may be Tollywood’s first ever lesbian movie. The director did not confirm or deny it. He however said that his Affair is the love story of two girls. Ice Cream fame Tummalapalli Ramasatyanarayna is producing the film.

If it is a lesbian film, it is a very bold theme for Telugu audience who are otherwise orthodox. However there is an intense discussion going on in the country about the rights of gays and lesbians especially after US recently made same sex marriages legal.

Mega, Nandamuri and Ghattamaneni camps had already extended their support to Baahubali after Charan, Bunny, NTR and Mahesh Babu supporting their film. It is now the turn of Akkineni camp. Nagarjuna wished all success for Rajamouli’s magnum opus film.

Baahubali releasing tomorrow is seen as the pride of Telugu Cinema. Every one in the industry are eagerly waiting for the movie success. The movie is releasing in 4000+ screens across the globe, a never before seen or heard feat for a Telugu movie.

Superstar Mahesh Babu had completed the dubbing of Srimanthudu first half. The actor was busy in dubbing for the movie for the last couple of days and will be complete the remaining dubbing in the next few days. The other post production works are also progressing at brisk pace.

The actor will immediately begin the shooting of his next, Brahmotsavam with out taking any break. However he will take a break for Srimanthudu audio release on July 18th and later for about a week for the promotions of the film.

Srimanthudu is scheduled for August 7th release. Koratala Siva had to struggle a lot to take his second film on to sets even after delivering a blockbuster like Mirchi with his first. Mahesh Babu is also raring to go at the box office especially after those back to back failures with 1-Nenokkadine and Aagadu in 2014.

At a time when Telugu people are getting ready to experience a marvel on silver screen, there are people who want to spread venom around it. With an intention to malign the prestige of this magnum opus, a twitter account in the name of one “Kiaara Sandhu” breathed spleen on the movie’s fate.

Couple of tweets tweeted from the account @KiaaraSandhu have mentioned that “Baahubali” is a crap movie and there is no need to watch it on IMAX screen. Giving a rating of ‘two’ stars, the woman named Kiaara stated, “#Baahubali is the best example to FOOL the Public by saying India’s Biggest Motion Picture. It has Beautiful Sets & ZERO Content. #Prabhas & @RanaDaggubati has no STAR Power like #RamCharan @urstrulyMahesh @PawanKalyan..!! #Baahubali is a Disaster. SKIP It. 2*/5*”

This sounds like utter crap, because there is no way any Censor Board member will talk about a movie before its released. It could be noticed that the profile of the twitter account reads, Kiaara is a Dubai Censor Board members. In fact, for Dubai there is UAE Censorship Committee but any special board for Dubai. Also the magazine she has mentioned where she works as an editor doesn’t really have any extension in UAE.

A quick dig into the profile further reveals that it belongs to someone who operates from Pakistan. There is some selected bashing on Indian movies and cinema actors on the timeline, which once again confirms that the main target of the alleged social network user is to defame Indian cinema. When almost all the opinions shard on her timeline are against the final result, one could understand the original intention.

Any film critic will never dare to compare the stardom of each individual stars like Pawan, Mahesh, Charan with Prabhas and Rana because every star-hero is having equal share of hits and flops at box office. Also these tweets look like something to trigger war between fans and create some sort of unrest on social circuits. Its better someone knocks door of Cyber Crime to take action on these hatred spreaders.

The craze for tickets of Baahubali is unprecedented in recent times for any movie. Multiplexes in Hyderabad are especially coming under a lot of pressure with people queuing up in large numbers.Now the management of the multiplexes has come in for a new headache.

A Telangana Minister known for his vitriolic language and who holds more than a single portfolio has apparently ordered the all multiplexes in Hyderabad that two tickets for each show should be given over to his men.

Whether it is only for the first day or the first three days is unknown. But the multiplexes bowed down to the demand of the minister as there was no other way out.
