Apart from stating that a film of such huge scale doesn’t need her endorsement, Renu appealed all of her well wishers and fans to spare some time to watch ‘Baahubali’ which according to her is a huge step forward for Indian Film Industry.

She even placed a personal request for fans of all the Celebs asking one & all to ignore fanism and support the period drama for the sake of Telugu Film Industry. She also feels audience have to thank ‘Baahubali’ Unit for making them proud by creating the World of Mahishmathi in such a spectacular manner.

It’s common knowledge that actor Prabhas underwent rigorous body transformation to suit his dual roles – Amarendra Baahubali, Shivudu – in his forthcoming magnum opus Baahubali. But what not many know that Prabhas had to maintain strict diet regime to gain or shed his body weight depending on the role and shooting schedule. The Chatrapathi star revealed that he ate only egg whites for over one month for

“During the shooting of action sequences, I’d only taken egg whites as my food for one month. Close shots of Rana and me were being picturised and I was advised to have only egg whites as food. I was okay but my family was so worried about my diet and health. It was tough to convince them,” shared Prabhas.

Starring Prabhas, Anushka, Rana and Tamanna in the lead roles, the high-budgeted epic film includes ensemble cast like Nassar, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishna, Sudeep, Adivi Sesh. Directed by Rajamouli, the movie is releasing on July 10 in over 4000 theatres across the globe. The expectations on the film are way too high and it needs to be seen how it’s going to take off.

Forget about Supreme Court’s ruling on same-sex relations and marriages, but with American Supreme Court making gay and lesbian marriages legal, no doubt Indians are also celebrating that with a hope that even Indian judiciary will give them a chance one day.

Recently we have see how an advertisement made for a ethnic-wear brand went mad as two girls, in a lesbian relation, speak about introducing one of them to others parents. Seems like Tollywood has taken clue from this ad and coming up with such a film.

It took actors like Shabana Azmi and Nandita Das for director Deepa Mehta to make “Fire” long back, but in Tollywood we have anchor Prasanthi doing the act. This popular actor is now coming up with a movie titled “Affair” whose first look stills indicate that it’s a movie about a lesbian couple. On the posters, we could see two girls kissing on lips one of them being Prasanthi.

Surely this is a bold attempt in Tollywood, but if the film goes overboard or lacks in content, it will look like a b-grade attempt. Already our makers have borrowed so much from that ad, which we could figure out by looking at the short hair of anchor Prasanthi. Hope her efforts pay off to strengthen her position as an actress.

Popular Malayalam superstar Jayaram is in deep trouble. The activists with several Kerala State’s Animal Welfare organisations are demanding strict punishment for the star after several Elephant tusks were found in the star’s residence in Tiruvananthapuram.

Jayaram reportedly preserved the tusks of his pet Elephant which died a couple of years ago filtering severe illness. Apparently, the Kerala Forest Department had given Jayaram the concerned permission to retain the Elephant tusks. This news of Forest Department’s favors to the film star has been unearthed recently.

Naturally, this angered the animal rights activists who have been protesting against the state’s biasness towards the star and stated that this will send a wrong message among the normal people. They activists also said that Jayaram is punishable according to the 2003 wildlife declaration stock rule.

Unable to control these protests, the first department has suggested them to write a letter to the PM Narendra Modi and sort out the issue. Jayaram is popular among the Telugu audiences for his comic roles in Kamal Haasan’s Panchathanthram and Tenali. Jayaram is also the recipient of Padma Shri in 2011.

Undoubtedly “Baahubali” is going to amass mind-blowing collections and will become a new industry hit. For the kind of promotion and hype this film has, for the massive number of theatres it is being release, the film has to collect more than 90 crores share from Tollywood itself in-order to recover its mammoth budget of 150 crores. If all these concerns are worrying the producers, guess what fans are expecting.

Fans feel that “Baahubali” is a film of Prabhas alone and all records in Tollywood on Mega heroes and Mahesh’s name will be shattered now. They feel that the success of Baahubali is going to bring Prabhas to No.1 throne of the tinsel town. Critics say that these box office numbers don’t determine No.1 status for Prabhas or Rana or Tamanna, because the film’s magnanimity and reach is different from what a regular Mahesh or Charan’s film will do. What has Prabhas to say about this?

“I don’t think No.1 status comes up with just one film. It takes years to reach such a position and no way is Baahubali’s success or collections going to do that for me. I never thought I would become No.1 with this film”, says Prabhas. Needless to say, for many big stars like Chiranjeevi, Pawan or Mahesh, it took decades of hard work at box office with consistent hits to reach that No.1 position. Hope Prabhas joins the list soon.

If the efforts of Music director Thaman works out, Nandamuri Balakrishna may croon a song for his upcoming film, Dictator. Balayya is a good singer and he proved it on many occasion by crooning in the live events.

Now Thaman wants him to lend his voice for a song in the movie. However the actor is yet to give his nod for this move. He is currently in US conducting some fund raising events for his Basavatarakam Cancer hospital.

He will be back to the country very soon and the regular shooting of the movie will begin from 20th of this month. The shooting will go non-stop till completion and Sankranthi 2016 release is planned. Dictator is the 99th film in Balakrishna’s career.

Loukyam fame Srivas is wielding megaphone for this movie touted to be an action entertainer. Kona Venkat and Gopimohan are working for a Balayya starrer for the first time in their career with this movie.

Akhil Akkineni’s debut film will begin its last schedule in Hyderabad from 11th of this month. The movie unit had recently come back after a major schedule in Thailand. 80% of the movie shooting is already complete.

The rest of the shooting will be completed in Hyderabad itself. The makers are planning to release the movie on September 22nd on the occasion of Vijaya Dasami festival. Akhil as of now seem to possess all the qualities required to make him a Superstar.

The onus is on Vinayak to give him a perfect launch pad as he did for Bellamkonda Srinivas with Alludu Seenu. Sayesh Saigal , the granddaughter of Bollywood Superstar Dilip Kumar is playing the female lead in this film.

SS Thaman and Anoop Rubens will be jointly handling the music department. Hero Nithin is turning producer with this film under his family’s Sresht Movies Banner. The film will have story penned by ‘Damarukham’ fame Veligonda Srinivas.

Till recently, Trisha’s marriage was big news all over media. It had been reported earlier that she will be marrying businessman Varun Manian and they were also engaged formally.
