In the times when both the Telugu states are at loggerheads in the cash for vote scandal, the YSRCP President and the leader of opposition in the AP Assembly, YS Jagan, is on a 15 day family tour to the sacred land of Jerusalem. While Jagan is busy touring the holy land, his heart seems to be stuck in Lotus Pond. Reports say that Jagan is constantly in touch with prominent leaders of his party via Skype ever since he left for Jerusalem on the 13th. The YSRCP leader will return to India on 28th June.

As per the reports, Jagan is frequently inquiring the party’s senior leaders like Botsa Satyanarayana and Vijaya Sai Reddy about the developments in the cash for vote scandal and other prominent issues in the Telugu states. Apparently, Jagan also told his party men to counter the allegations of the TDP-YSRCP friendship, following his foreign tour in a crunchy political situation.

Jagan also reportedly asked the senior leaders to gather at the Lotus Pond everyday to discuss the latest happenings. He also directed Vijaya Sai Reddy to pacify senior party leader Sujaya Krishna, who is upset over Botsa joining YSRCP. On the other hand, several party leaders are reportedly not happy with Jagan’s absence in the crucial time of cash for vote scandal and the upcoming MLC polls, in which YSRCP can counter attack TDP and gain advantage.

Meanwhile, Jagan also filed a petition in court from Jerusalem to grant him permission to go to Bangalore and spend time with his sister, brother in law and their children. The hearing in this regard has been postponed to 29th June. It is well known that Jagan’s appeal to the court to permit him from touring Bangalore has been rejected in December last year.

Women have long been arguing for the implementation of the ‘women’s reservation bill’ in Parliament. Their contention is that women are as equally capable as men in holding public offices and being in government. Their claim is absolutely justified.

Women have as much ability as men if not more. If one were to look at the recent events and one year of Modi’s governance, the major source of embarrassment to the BJP have been women.

Sporting traditional Indian saris, with large bindis, Smriti Irani and Sushma Swaraj look the quintessential Indian women. Yet, their actions have seriously embarrassed the BJP government.

Then we have the super- rich Vasundhara Raje, also shaming the BJP with her act. Vasundhara gave a statement to the UK authorities on condition that it would not be revealed to India.

And then there is Pankaja Munde, Maharashtra Minister for Women and Child Welfare Development. She has been accused by the Opposition of a Rs 200 crore scam. She awarded tenders for Rs 200 crore without any auctioning at all and violating all rules.

“There were no violations of rules,” said Munde, who is currently in the US, adding that a policy for an online tendering system was not in place when she commissioned the deals.

“As minister I have taken some dynamic decisions to reduce corruption,” she said. The opposition says that on February 13, she pushed through as many as 24 contracts with vendors, including some with close links to her family.

Munde’s father, Gopinath, who died in June 2014, was one of the BJP’s most popular leaders in Maharashtra.

“I promised my father I would always do the best for my people,” she said in a statement thereby evoking emotions in the public.

And who can forget Sadhvi Prachi and the damage her remarks have been doing to the BJP? The RSS is led by bachelors and yet they magnanimously encourage women in the BJP and give them prestigious responsibilities. And look what they are doing in return. They have proved that they are as capable as men when it comes to corruption.

Therefore, the women’s reservation bill should be passed immediately without any further delay.

As the both states are being rocked with two major issues such as note for vote scam and the other phone tapping has made the opposition dig deeper into the flaws of both the ruling parties in both Telugu States. Taking a dig at the TDP supporter, Janasena Chief, Power Star Pawan Kalyan, the YSR Congress Leader Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy made shocking comments.

Mr. Dwarampudi said “Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan are one and the same. Both have betrayed the people of AP. Why Pawan remained mum on the corruption happening in AP? He isn’t even coming forward to question the wrongdoings of AP Government. Pawan Kalyan will know about the issues of people only if he steps out of his AC rooms.”

He further added that people are all watching out there and should know that Pawan has been bluffing without actually doing anything. He claimed that Chandrababu has become perfectionist in cheating the common people by making false promises and not implementing them properly.

Governor Narsimhan has reportedly met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today in Delhi for a crucial meeting which has reportedly lasted for more than one and half hour, according to sources. If the media reports are to be believed, there has been no clarity on his replacement as yet.

But there are few reports that this meeting has to do more with Section 8 that entails law & order powers of Hyderabad to the Governor of both states. Centre is reportedly keen that the note for vote scam now comes under this purview, as per which the case would have to proceed from now on.

Narsimhan gets an appointment with the President Finally a Good News for Chandrababu Naidu? Some of the reports also add that this may be too early to predict the outcome of talks and things would be clearer only after Narsimhan gets an appointment with the President and the Prime Minister today in the evening. Only after this the final outcome may be revealed by the Governor.

However there are some rumours doing rounds that since Section 8 is already listed in AP bifurcation act, the centre is going forward regarding the same and wants to end all future conflicts too between two states pertaining to Hyderabad for the coming nine years. So, is there is some good news in the offing for battered Naidu.
