When asked about selecting a mass film, Shourya replied, ‘Nobody can cheat the audience by telling them that they can expect love, action, romance, sentiment, comedy and suspense etc in a single film. There were some films in the past but these days, most of the movies have become genre-specific.

I came to the industry to become an actor and I want to die as an actor. A job of an actor is to entertain the audience with versatile roles and I’m trying to do the same. I don’t get involved into other’s work and I’m dedicated to my profession. My mom was happy when I told her that I’m doing a mass entertainer. Maybe it is time for the audience to witness the other side in me’.

Mani Sharma’s son Sagar Mahati is making his debut as a music director with this film and the beautiful Sonarika is the leading lady opposite to Shourya.

Tollywood fans are usually involved in murky catfights with fans of other stars and this has undoubtedly created a bad blood in the industry. King Nagarjuna took many months to recover from the death of his legendary father Akkineni Nageswara Rao. That’s why he hasn’t interacted with people for a long time as he is recuperating from the loss. During the times when ANR was shooting for “Manam” for 2 hours a days, with the fact that his days are numbered, imagine how Nagarjuna had felt.

Every day when ANR is coming to shoot, almost all the crew used to look at him with some sympathy, for which the legendary actor used to feel angry. “I’m happiest man now. Let us finish the shoot, don’t show me your sympathetic looks“, Akkineni used to say.

He used to joke a lot with actress Shriya and tease her. Knowing that he won’t live more than a month, and while he was restricted to wheel chair, ANR still used to come for 2 hours shoot daily. Looking at his situation, one day Nagarjuna said to Shriya, “Give me a gun, I want to shoot myself. I can’t see him like this“. That’s how much Nag loves his dad.

Anyway, ANR’s last film “Manam” is a classic that won hearts of people. Even when he is dying, Akkineni has showed immense passion for films. Probably we wouldn’t be seeing any such actor in the coming times in Telugu Film Industry. Born in 1923, Akkineni succumbed to cancer on January 22, 2014.

The holy month of Ramzan has started and Tabu has been fasting as per the ritual. Last year, she was seen playing an important role in Haider and it won her accolades along with Shahid Kapoor.

This year, Tabu has yet another interesting role coming up in Drishyam wherein she plays a police officer whose son goes missing. In Telugu, the character was played by Nadiya and Tabu plays the part in Hindi.

Alia Bhatt who recently suffered shoulder injury while shooting in Coonoor is off on a family holiday. Well, Alia has been super busy with films, shows and ads and she says she is looking forward for the break.

She wrapped up a schedule for her next movie Kapoor And Sons which stars Siddharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan.

A couple of days back she had tweeted that she had a shoulder injury and that she would be fine in two weeks.

And now, her latest update says that she is off to the city of Charminar Hyderabad for a family holiday. ‘Hyderabad bound! Family holiday after 15 years… Mahesh Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, Soni Razdan… injured shoulder on her way!!’

Given that it’s the month of Ramzan, Alia and her family will surely have lots to do during the holy month in Hyderabad. Probably she will also get a taste of Haleem which happens to be Ramzan special.
