Jagapathi Babu, the man who speaks upright, often stays as introvert as he doesn’t believe in friendships and other relations, has recently breathed fire on the castes.

“I don’t know what is it there in Kammas and Kapus. All these caste equations according to me are a trash. At least for my family, there is nothing such“, he says, while talking about his daughter getting married to an American white guy.

“Many so called Kammas from Film Industry got miffed when my daughter got married to a white guy from USA. I can’t understand what’s wrong in it, as my daughter loved him we’ve got them married. When we are happy with our decisions, what has caste to do with it?“, Jagapathi questions. He out-rightly says that for him there is no belief in Veeramachaneni (his family surname) legacy or anything.

“When we’re gone from this world, what’s the point of legacy? We don’t see it or feel it. What’s caste in it again? I didn’t create that and I’m not associating with it“, he adds. Regarding performing the marriage in a simple ceremony, he claimed that the occasion is for his relatives to meet after years, sit together and enjoy.

Shedding more light on how some influential people even tried to get his future son-in-law jailed, Jagapathi revealed quite shocking stuff. “Some of my Kamma friends thought of getting my son-in-law booked in a drugs case in the US such that he will not come out of prison for life. I asked them to drop such plans because I’ve to spend my rest of life to get him out from jail“, he laughs.

And now Hari is planning to make a sequel for Saami. Hari is planning to make the film simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. Vikram had already given nod for the sequel project. He already narrated the story for Balayya and is awaiting his nod to take it on to sets.

Balakrishna will very soon start the shooting of his 99th film, Dictator. The regular shooting of the movie will begin on July 20th and will go non-stop till completion. We will have to see if Lakshmi Narasimha sequel will be the prestigious 100th film of Balakrishna!

The makers of Uday Kiran’s Last film ‘Chitram Cheppina Kadha’ have announced to release the movie on June 26th which happens to be the actor’s Jayanthi. However, the movie landed in some legal troubles.Hyderabad City Civil Court had issued stay on the movie release.

Financial issues are hampering the movie release since the start and now the same problems landed the film in courts. With the movie release, fans and well wishers want to see him for the last time on big screen but the movie release is not any where near the release until the case is solved.

Uday Kiran’s manager, Munna produced this film. Dimple and Madhalasa Sharma are the heroines in the film. LRK Mohan has directed the film. We know that Uday Kiran commited suicide last year due to financial reasons after battling with depression for a long time due to multiple failures and non happening career.

The makers of two movies which released recently have launched a scathing attack on a ‘Telugudaily’ for the latter’s reviews of their films.

According to the filmmakers, they were approached by this news paper for money and when refused, they resorted to writing a very poor review of their films.

The two movies are ‘Tippu’ and ‘Vinavayya Ramayya’ and the makers vented their fury at a press meet convened especially for this purpose.

In fact, the producer of ‘Vinavayya Ramayya’, ‘Sindhoora Puvvu’ Krishna Reddy has released an ad in which he targeted the Telugu daily without revealing its name.

“Don’t believe the biased and false reviews of this Telugu daily. Please ask the audience who have watched the movie. Their review is the genuine review,” said the producer.

Actress Rakul Preet Singh, who currently has Telugu projects with all the leading stars such as Junior NTR and Ram Charan, has signed Boyapati Srinu’s yet-untitled next directorial with actor Allu Arjun.

“Rakul has been finalised as the main leading lady for the film. The team is on the lookout for a second heroine. The project will go on floors in July,” a source told IANS.

Tipped to be an out-and-out commercial entertainer, the film will be produced by Arjun’s home banner Geetha Arts.

Currently, Rakul is busy shooting for Ram Charan’s film with Srinu Vaitla. She is expected to join the sets of NTR’s 25th film with filmmaker Sukumar soon.

She was also supposed to team up with superstar Mahesh Babu in his upcoming Telugu drama “Brahmotsavam”, but the makers had a change of heart in the last minute.

Producer Bandla Ganesh had attended Nampally Court for the first hearing of the Cheque bounce case filed on him by Sachin Joshi. Bandla obtained bail in this case producing personal security bonds and the next hearing of the case is posted to August 14th.

Going in to the case details, Sachin and Ganesh entered in to an agreement for Nee Jathaga Nenundali. While Sachin will invest the money, Ganesh should take care of the production and distribution.

However he is said to have cheated Sachin with inflated rates in production and under reporting in distribution. Sachin realized this after the movie release. Some settlement was done during the making of Temper but Ganesh also failed to adhere to that. Sachin’s Viking media dragged him to court as a result.

If the reports emerging from Filmnagar are to be believed, Megastar Chiranjeevi is not fully happy with the script narrated by Puri Jagannadh for his prestigious 150th film, Auto Jaani. Chiranjeevi reportedly roped in veteran writer, Chinni Krishna to doctor the script.

It may be reminded that Chinni Krishna even provided script for Chiranjeevi’s blockbuster film, Indra. The film will have a grand launch on August 22nd, the Birthday of Chiranjeevi and it will start rolling from September 2nd which happens to be the Birthday of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan.

The team targets January 14th 2016 release as Sankranthi Special. Ram Charan himself will be producing this monumental film. Interestingly Ramcharan’s debut film ‘Chiruta’ was directed by Puri Jagannadh and his first film as a producer will be also directed by the same Director. Reliable sources in Chiranjeevi’s camp tells us that Auto Jani is an out and out mass entertainer.
