Divine Help Sought For Revanth’s Bail
A special pooja was conducted at Sai Baba temple located in Pragati Nagar, Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad by President of ‘Telugunadu Students Federation’, Madhusudhan Reddy.
The pooja was for the purpose of getting bail for TDP MLA Revanth Reddy. This is not a new phenomenon in our politics.
When Jagan was in jail, his followers also conducted pooja at many places. Similarly when Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha was in jail, her followers did he same.

Pawan Kalyan, Come Out Of Your AC Rooms
YSRCP leader Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy lashed out at film star tuned politician, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, at a press meet in Kakinada today. Dwarampudi said that Pawan Kalyan must wipe off the makeup on his face and come out of his AC rooms to fight for the welfare the people.
Coming down heavily on the Janasena chief, Dwarampudi said that Pawan is betraying the Telugu people just like Chandrababu did and that he will understand people’s woes only when he steps into the society. The firebrand YSRCP leader further demanded Pawan to explain to people why he remained silent over the corruption in current politics, when he entered politics with the motto, “Not for power but to question”.
After serving Kakinada constituency as a Congress MLA, Dwarampudi lost the 2014 Assembly elections on a YSRCP ticket. Apart from Dwarampudi, Pawan Kalyan has been under heavy attack from several leaders and even film industry people for his shocking silence over the cash for vote scandal. Opposition leaders and even fans were desperately waiting for the star to comment on the issue. Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan is currently grooming himself for the shoot of Gabbar Singh 2.
No Fresher, Only Experienced For Bunny?
Allu Arjun is still basking in the glory of his back to back 50 crore ‘share’ hits at box office. Race Gurram and S/o Satyamurthy hits have catapulted him into a new league. Probably that made him more cautious to sign his next and it took a while to announce his project with Boyapati Sreenu. Well, who’s playing heroine in this movie?
Earlier there is buzz that fresher like Sayesha Saigal and Sonarika Badoria are in consideration for this film. Though Bunny worked with newcomers like Anuradha Mehta, Gowri Munjal and Bhanusri Mehra earlier, after turning into a star he always preferred roping in big and experienced starlets.
And with none of Sayesha (Akhil’s debut flick heroine) and Sonarika (TV actress, heroine in Jadoogadu) movies turning up at box office, probably he doesn’t want to pick them immediately. Latest update is that Bunny-Boyapati are feeling that experienced lady like Rakul Preet Singh will do better job.
Already Rakul entered mega camp by signing Ram Charan’s next with Sreenu Vytla and the duo have shot songs too. Probably with his recommendation, maybe this spicy lady will sign Bunny’s flick too, say sources. Currently busy with Charan and NTR’s films, Rakul is finding tough to accommodate dates for Mahesh’s Brahmotsavam. We have to see how could she manage Bunny’s flick in case if she signs.
TDP Changes Polavaram Project Name
In a significant move, the incumbent TDP government in Andhra Pradesh has changed the name of “Indirasagar” Polavaram Project. The move is expected ever since TDP won the general election and back into saddle. However, what’s surprising many is that TDP hasn’t named it after its party founder and legendary actor-former CM NT Rama Rao.
Instead it named the project as Polavaram Irrigation Project. This is seen as a laudable step as the ruling party shunned the tradition to name after prestigious projects.
Polavaram is a multi-purpose irrigation project which has been accorded national project status by the Union Government. To be built with a whopping Rs 20,000 Crore, the total capacity of the project is 194 tmcft at FRL 150ft msl.
Union Government is going to bear the 90% of the project cost whereas the truncated state of AP has to bear the rest. The Central government so far released Rs 250 Crore to set up Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for the project. It allocated Rs 100 Crore in the budget.
Heroes’ Free Offer To Trivikram
It has already been reported that director Trivikram now intends to make a film with small heroes. Ever since the news has been out, it is said that Ram, Nithin and Sunil have queued up for the role.
Surprisingly, it is said that all of them offered to work without remuneration since it is Trivikram’s film. However, apart from Ram and Nithin, another hero is being considered by Trivikram say industry insiders.
Talk is that the heroine will also have a key role to play in the film apart, though the hero will have an author-backed role.
Many heroes would want to work in Trivikram’s film, though Ram and Nithin have already approached the director. While Ram has two projects on hand, Nithin hasn’t started any project for now.
She Is Having Her ‘Me Time’
She had mysteriously disappeared about a year back and it is being said that actress-politician Ramya is back, but hasn’t made a public appearance for two weeks now.
She is said to be closeted on her Covent Road home for two weeks now. The actress has gone off the radar after her bitter loss in the Parliamentary polls in 2014.
Though there was a lot of speculation about her whereabouts, it is said that she was in Europe all along. However, a close friend of her reveals that she is back, though she wants to have some ‘me time’.
Well, looks like she can’t be off spotlight for long.
Is that Naidu not helping this Naidu ?
The ongoing series of controversies affecting Telugu states is only expected to take a worse turn if there is no intervention from the Centre. This is the main reason why several leaders from AP rushed to Delhi to actually intervene and strike a compromise so that things can be back to normal.
But again the manner in which bifurcation process was carried out and other promises were disregarded for AP has impacted people like never before. It is only a matter of time before such things come out to the fore and erupt in any mass movement in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The people of AP are only hoping that Venkaiah Naidu is helping Chandrababu Naidu in his matters of governance as well as some of the controversies. But it looks like Venkaiah is lifting his hands off saying Centre will not intervene in matters like Section 8 related to the status of Hyderabad.
There are also many speculations in political circles regarding this matter but how much can this workout to help Babu is to be seen. If not for Babu, atleast for people of AP, there are hopes on Modi but if a Telugu minister itself is like this, what can the future hold for Andhra Pradesh is a big question.
All Farce, No Section 8?
There are many speculations surrounding section 8 implementation in Hyderabad and there was a moment of triumph among the leaders of ruling TDP in AP that this section would indeed be implemented in Hyderabad for their relief but the statements of a Union Minister has dampened the moods.
Union Law Minister Sadananda Gowda has revealed that Home Ministry hasn’t consulted the regarding this issue and there has been no such notification issued in this regard by them. This has somehow cooled the tempers among TRS leaders in Hyderabad over this impending notification.
Also there are reports that Governor has only sought an opinion from Attorney General regarding the same since the political tempers after phone tapping and note for vote scams has risen like never before. Any notice or arrest of Chandrababu would have further deteriorated law & order situation in Hyderabad.
Now AP leaders are on the back foot while some are seething in anger against Centre for making contradictory statements over this issue. There are also fears that prolonged neglecting of AP may not bode well for the future. Hence, everyone is now demanding clarity in highest form from the Centre.
Feeling Proud Of Baahubali – Mahesh Babu
“When a film like Baahubali is arriving, it’s healthy to maintain 3-4 weeks gap for the next release. For that reason we’ve postponed Srimanthudu, but not that there is any fear”, explains Mahesh Babu, regarding the reason his next release Srimanthudu got pushed to August 7th from July 17th.
Furthermore, Mahesh stated that only if Baahubali scores a hit, even his film will score healthily. “We all praying for blockbuster success of Baahubali. That film should click at box office. If something happens to it, we too will get affected”, he added.
Talking more about the magnum opus, Mahesh said, “We should all feel proud about Baahubali is such magnanimous film being made in Telugu industry. It’s a wonderful movie”.
With these revelations, even Mahesh Babu has joined the gang of admirers of this magnum opus, ranging from Rajnikanth to Amitabh Bachan. Undoubtedly, the gap given by Mahesh for Baahubali would help the film fetch huge numbers at box office.

Taking time off from his hectic schedule, Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan has taken his sons Hrehaan, Hridaan out on a vacation. The 41-year-old star along with his two sons is exploring the streets of South Africa and spending quality time with them.
It may be recalled that Hrithik Roshan and his former wife Sussanne parted ways. The duo who were childhood friends and known for each other over 17 years, ended their 13-yr-old marriage with a divorce by “mutual consent” last year. The couple had applied for divorce by mutual consent.
Buzz: Hero Surya In Baahubali 2nd Part
Baahubali’s 1st part hasn’t hit tinsel town, but Bollywood media is abuzz about the second part of this magnum opus. Already India is gripped in Baahubali craze, as the film is getting ready to hit cinemas on July 10th in a humongous number of theatres.
Both in Telugu and Tamil, Rajamouli is dependent on the lead cast to pull crowds. While the two heroines enjoy an unprecedented popularity in Tamilnadu, both Prabhas and Rana are not much of use there. Seems like Rajamouli wants to correct this in the next part of the flick.
For “Baahubali: The Beginning”, actors like Ramya Krishna, Satya Raj and Nasser are the wellknown faces in Tamilnadu to draw humongous audiences, while Anushka and Tamanna are a big asset. However, for commercial flicks audiences look at the guys who are playing heroes to rush to theatres.
Identifying this, we hear that Rajamouli is planning to create a new character in Baahubali-2 which will be played by hero Surya. Likewise Allu Arjun played a guest role in Rudramadevi, even Surya is willing to repeat such feat for the sake of Rajamouli, say sources.
Baahubali 2 shooting needs to be started yet and there is 65% remaining to be shot. Also the story and scenes are to be written. So maybe Rajamouli will create a stunning character for Surya too. We have to see what Rajamouli says officially about this.
Shock: Live Broadcast Of Porn On The Roads
Recently, entire country was in splits when it heard about the news of broadcast of an adult movie at a bus stand in a remote town in Kerala. In a similar incident, the citizens if Mudanjiang city of China were in for a shock with the live broadcast of porn on a billboard for nearly 10 minutes at a prominent part of the city.
An employee who operates the advertising material to the area billboards unknowingly fed the billboard with porn, which he was watching while at work. The billboard was situated right opposite a hospital and next to a busy road, thereby attracting more onlookers who could not believe what they were watching and soon caused a huge traffice jam.
While the live broadcast did amuse several pedestrians, many motorists and car drivers kept on honking their horns to make the nearby police or concerned authorities. The incident gains more international prominence since the People’s Republic of China had ban viewing porn in its country when it came into democratic existence in 1949.
NTR is Great, But Don’t Want to Act with Others
Actor-director R Narayana Murthy has finally broken his silence on turning down plum offers. Well-known as People’s Star, Murthy recently made it to headlines for saying “no” to Puri Jagannadh- Jr NTR’s Temper which turned out to be an average fare at the Box Office. Raving at the legendary NTR, Murthy however gently said that why can’t he follow the suit of NTR, ANR.
“I’ve been offered several prominent roles in the films of star heroes. But somehow I’m not interesting in taking them up. My conscience is not accepting to play sidekick roles after carving out a niche for myself. I’m happy playing the roles I wanted and contented with the movies that I make,” said Narayana Murthy in a TV interview.
Murthy, however, admitted, “In fact legendary actors like NTR, ANR had played non-lead roles whenever needed. I’m no bigger to them. Even actor Amitabh Bachchan is part of non-lead roles these days. I admit I’m smaller in front of them. But somehow my conscience is not accepting me to take up roles other than lead roles.
Unlike them, I started my career from the bottom-level and rose to this level step-by-step. Whereas they were heroes and made it to the top.” Claiming as fan of ANR, Murthy described NTR as the greatest actor for his versatility, myriad roles he played.
