Maverick director SS Rajamouli in the media interviews of Baahubali revealed an interesting project of the presenter of Baahubali, K.Raghavendra Rao. It is the life history of Sri Krishna Devaraya with Balakrishna playing the lead role. It is said that both Bala and KRR agreed for the project and the latter is doing research on the Kakatiya Ruler.

Balakrishna was seen as Sri Krishna Devaraya for a little episode in Aditya 369 and drew huge applause. From then this project is on cards some how or other and now finally it is happening. However fans are little skeptic about this combination as KRR and Balakrishna’s last outing, Pandurangadu is a terrible hit and even got so much of bad name for Balayya.

Besides this project, KRR is also working on another project, Om Namo Venkatesaya which is the story of Lord Venkateswara. Nagarjuna will play the lead role in that film.

Our readers are aware that SS Rajamouli is making Baahubali in two parts and the first part, Baahubali – the Beginning is releasing on July 10th. In one of the media interviews this morning. Rajamouli had revealed that they even completed 40% shooting of the second part.

They will resume the remaining shoot after completing the Baahubali-1 part theatrical run. The second part probably will see the light in 2016. The censor formalities of the first part will be completed today in Hyderabad. Baahubali is the costliest film ever made on Telugu Screen.

Three years of hard work had gone in to the project and the movie is already creating never before seen records in Telugu film trade. Baahubali is expected to have a simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages.

From being a one of the most awaited film of the year, Kick-2 reached the level of a film lying in lab struggling for release. The makers have planned to release the film in the last week of June but Baahubali and Srimanthudu lined up July 10th and August 7th release, the movie is postponed once again.

Kick-2 makers are planning to release the film on August 14th in case Srimanthudu fails at the box office. In case the movie go on to become big hit, Kick-2 will be pushed to August 21st release. Rakul Preet Singh plays the female lead while Thaman composes the music.

This is the first production venture of Kalyan Ram with another hero than himself. It is interesting to note that it is Kalyan Ram who introduced Surrender Reddy with his blockbuster movie, Athanokkade. Vakkantham Vamsi who penned Kick is also the writer of this film

There are several stories of Baahubali doing rounds in internet. The number of stories doing rounds only signify the amount of curiosity on the film in media and audience. However, Rajamouli in a media interview today said that all the stories doing rounds are fake and the actual story will be different.

We do not know if Rajamouli is speaking the truth. But Rana himself revealed the movie storyline in a Bollywood interview. .According to that, Baahubali is the tussle between two brothers – Baahubali (Prabhas) and Bhallaladeva (Rana). Both of them compete for the throne.

While Baahubali is a noble man who stands for values while Bhallaladeva is a wicked man who goes to any extent to grab power. Accordingly the story slightly resembles Mahabharatam.

While Rajamouli says all the stories are fake, at least this is the true story line. We will have to cross check the facts on July 10th after the movie release.

Telugu superstar Prabhas Raju says he would love to act in a Bollywood movie in the future.

The 35-year-old actor, who will be seen in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming multi-lingual two-part epic drama Baahubali, had earlier made a friendly appearance in Ajay Devgn starrer Action Jackson.

“Who wouldn’t do a Bollywood film. It is India’s biggest film industry. If I get a good offer, I will definitely do it,” Prabhas told PTI.

The actor, who was last seen in the action-drama Mirchi in 2013, will play the dual role of father and son in the upcoming epic film.

Baahubali marks the return of Prabhas and director Rajamouli’s team after their super hit Chhatrapati in 2005.

The film, which is being presented in Hindi by filmmaker Karan Johar, features an ensemble cast of Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Adivi Sesh, Tanikella Bharani and Sudeep.

Baahubali is set to release on July 10.

However, her journey in the Bollywood seems to be going quite well. Reports say that a leading condom company approached Ileana to do the commercial which was earlier offered to Kajal Aggarwal who now dropped out of it. It seems Ileana gave a nod to the advertisement very quick. It is also said that Ileana charged a huge sum to act in the commercial.

Right now, the Telugu film industry has been hit by a dearth of heroines as not many Telugu girls are getting into films. Talk is that nearly 72 heroines were considered for Mahesh for Sreemanthudu before signing Shruti Haasan.

Right now, Rakul Preet Singh is considered to be the golden girl and she has been confirmed for Brahmotsavam. However, she could not adjust dates and since the film being directed by Srikant Addala needs a heroine who can give bulk dates,

Rakul could not manage her manage dates and had to opt out of the project. Apparently, she had blocked her dates for Ram Charan’s My Name is Raju. Since Rakul could not make it, Srikant has decided to take another for the film.

Well, industry insiders say she is quite disappointed that she missed out on an opportunity to work with Mahesh.
